Greed vs Ignatius
A tremendously overweight coydog waddles ponderously into the group of fighters, his dark gray fur with it’s black brindling doing nothing to hide the rolls of fat that adorn his body. But he seems to be unaware or uncaring of his weight or how it might be seen, because he beams at them all equally with a condescending air. ”Ahh, what an auspicious day for a tournament!” he booms. ”I do so hope we shall feast after we crown the champion! Ahh, yes, you and you please,” he indicates Ignatius and Greed with a benevolent nod bestowed upon each of those honored by being chosen, before he waddles over to a circle of stones set into a ring. ”Please keep your paws inside the ring at all times. May the best wolf win!” He gives a congenial belly laugh, then nods to Greed. ”Please, please. You begin.”

He had successfully won his first match, and now it was on to the next. He waited impatiently, but he at least got to watch some of the other fights while he did so. He had seen Dragon's fight along with a few others, and he was mildly surprised that Dragon had managed to win. He sorta felt like a jerk for thinking that, though he hadn't expected it. Then again, his former alpha had trained a shit ton since his last real fight. As a few of the other fights were finishing up, a rather fat coydog waddled up to him and spoke...a little too cheerfully. He glanced at the other that was to be his opponent, eyes widening a bit at the exotically colored male. Well then...bring it on.
As the pair stepped into the ring and the jolly fat coydog spoke, Greed waited impatiently for the rules to be explained yet again, and the moment it was known who would be going first, an evil little grin parted his jaws slightly. Blue gaze snapped to his opponent in an instant, and within a few, short seconds he shot off towards the fire-coated male. His last match had been a piece of cake. But this one? There was only one way to find out!
Greed decided to switch up his tactic this match. With this male being larger than him and larger still than his last opponent, he'd try to use his speed to his advantage. He would feign going head-on until the last couple of feet, and once there he switched it up and sought to dart to the man's left side. He swept past, aiming to get closer to the man's rear end where he then jutted his own left shoulder forward in an attempt to slam it into the other guy's knee and throw the leg out from under him. Simultaneously, his left forepaw aimed to slam down on the paw with as much force as he could, hoping to pin that same hind paw in place, and hopefully with his momentum with his shoulder slam, he'd succeed in disabling the leg for the duration of the match. Lastly, jaws split open as he twisted his head in towards Ig's stomach. He sought purchase on the exposed flesh just behind the ribs.

The other male was quick to get things started and Ignatius was equally quick to set his defenses and watch carefully as the other male came charging towards him. He watched as the other male ducked to one side, coming up on Ig's left. Immediately Ig half stepped to his right, creating some distance but not before he felt the other man's shoulder smack against his hip with less force than intended, and the paw stomp would miss entirely. The bite to his stomach ended up more on his ribs as a result of the movement.
Retaliating immediately, Ig feinted with an attempted bite to Greed's hip that was only meant to cause discomfort and draw attention before shifting his weight to his other legs and sending a sharp kick towards Greed's shoulder and neck area, hoping that the bone spur on his bracers would add some bite to the attack.

The spurs cut his shoulder, drawing blood and the sharper pain of it causing him to falter for a second as he drew back and away from Ig. Well, that was surprising. And clever...maybe he would think about using something like that for himself in the future.
Within seconds, Greed recovered from the attack and launched himself forward and straight at Ig's hip with the intent of slamming into him with all of his weight, shoulders rolled forward as he aimed to drive the points into the softer flesh of Ig's side. With any luck, he would bruise the male something fierce. Lastly, he turned his head in towards ig's thigh, aiming a vicious bite with the hope of attaining a strong grip.

During his assault, the judge of this match called out a winner. Greed backed off almost instantly, licking his lips as the coydog determined him as the victor. Feeling satisfied with the result, glittering blue eyes sought the males for a moment. He said nothing, however, as he turned away to step out of the ring. But just as he was stepping over the stones, he turned his head. "Good match." He grunted. He had to at some point, say something for good sportsmanship, right? Whether he did or didn't have to, he chose to do it anyway. The fire wolf had been clever with his use of weaponry during the fight, and Greed would remember to take note so that maybe in the future, he could put it to use in his own future fights. Well played, fire wolf. Well played. But even his weapons hadn't been enough to win. With a final nod, Greed took off to wait for his next fight.
