three musketeers
Banshee had been waiting for her siblings to wake up for quite some time. Patience had yet to develop within her tiny brain and mere minutes felt like long hours. She rested on the ground within the warm den with her tiny cranium on top of big paws. She was the largest of the three healthy pups but also the more 'normal' looking out of them all. From what their parents said she was partially inflicted with her father's white pelt, like Recluse, but much less. Mordecai seemed to take much more after their mother's side of the family with flame like fur and a long tail. Though, at such a young age the little babe was not riddled with vanity just yet. All she knew is she could beat up her brother and sometimes even her sister due to her more then healthy weight. The greyscale pup finally stood upon four large paws and perked her head up. With her tail wagging swiftly her chipper voice called out through the den. "WAKE UP!" Commanding and bossy as ever the mischievous pup felt proud. With mother and father gone there were no rules. Eulogy kept them in the den and fed them but other then that the mahogany Wolfess had no authority to lay down the law. Even at a young age Banshee was taking advantage of anything she could. "" |
His heart thumped in accordance with slow, shallow breaths. Serenity was plastered across his face as he slept. At peace, his consciousness swirled in the land of dreams, oblivious to the physical world. When the young prince was asleep he lay as still as a brick. The only movement was the slight rise and fall of his chest. It was hard to imagine that this was the same boy that tore around from sun up to sun down, terrorizing his parents and sisters with his selfish tantrums. In sleep he was angelic, his face as fresh as a dew drop, making gentle snuffling noises as he breathed, hugging his elongated tail, as long as his tiny bodice, to his chest. The world was a blur when the young boy snapped his eyes open from his older sister shout, and random images seemed to float aimlessly around in the pool of his thoughts, as though they were being blown about viciously by a hurricane. Banshee command momentarily brought him back to the outside world, What are you barking about he rose his cranium to arch his brow at her but after a second he was once again lost as his head fell on the ground. The whole world simply felt low resolution for the boy, a bad quality movie. Confusion blossomed in his heart and he knew that sooner or later he would need to wake up. To stare reality in the face.
