sunset memories
Sturdy paws carried the obsidian babe between the delightful pools beneath the falls. The sound of rushing water overcame her hearing as her eyes flicked around the area. The sun was due to set in about half an hour and Clementine was determined to watch from a good vantage point. Paws hit the earth in a decided and careful flurry. She was quick like a Lynx but also calculated in every sense. Silver eyes darted from paw placement to the path ahead religiously to ensure safety through the slick passageways. Soon the joyous femme found a lovely spot. A clearing at the top of the falls that overlooked a wondrous break in the canopy ahead to show the sunset. Lids narrowed slightly to squint away the beaming spring sun. A little smile could be seen as the babe moved to gently lower her rump onto the earth. The sound of the falls lessened as she focused on the wonderful sights. That black and white tail flicking in anticipation.

Sat with an idly swaying tail. Her ears mostly occupied by the falls and eyes captivated by the beautiful scenery. The orange light of the afternoon sun painted her normally cool toned pelt ever so slightly. Her fur was thinning but still held a bit of that winter coat. It was only newly spring so it would take some time to fall. Not before long her ears picked up on the sounds of movement. Quickly her silver gaze flicked around before settling upon a white and sand colored Wolf heading her way. At first glance he did not appear to be a threat and his words eased her even more. As the handsome Wolf spoke she offered a gentle smile before flicking her nose downward towards the patch of earth to her right. "It'd be selfish to deny anyone this breathtaking view." She looked back towards the sunset that washed over the purply orange sky. The hues painted the canopy of trees below, making the green leaves vibrant with yellows. She glanced back towards the stranger, "I am Clementine, by the way."
