It's a trap!

Revenge was a dish best served cold, and she had certainly taken her time to plan this carefully. She had seen Noir knocking Poem to the ground, hissing in her ear, and making himself a general menace to her sister. Motif wasnt going to sit still well someone was cruel to her beloved sister. Noir was a bully, and it was time to take him down a peg.
She started with the bedding, grabbing one of Poems old, comfortable sheep blankets. Apologising mentally as she did so. She told her sister she was experimenting with curing pelts and that it wouldnt be suitable to sleep on for a few days. That hoped that would be enough to keep her sister off it. Leaving it smelling like her and Poem, she placed it out in a secluded, sunny spot that looked like a neat, secret place to hang. Then, she let Noir catch her sneaking there one day. Once he discovered it, and seen how they had comfortably furnished it - of course he took over it. Sleeping in the sun and telling her to scram if he saw her.
She acted upset, but secretly she was thrilled. Perfect. Next, she found a broken jar in an old den and spent the better part of a day catching a green stink bug, and clumsily seeling the jar with some wrapped leaves. She kept this jar near by well she prepared other parts of her plot, and when she came back she would see that the bug had.. multiplied, with easily fifty little eggs. Instead of examining this strange occurance, she realised she has been granted a golden opportunity.
She waited for the eggs to hatch, then rolled in stink weed to cover her tracks, and planted the fragile jar under the bedding. When Noir slept here next, the jar would crack, unleashing mayhem! If she was really lucky, it would take the bugs time to work there way theough the thick fluff, and Nojr would be asleep when they found him.
Her trap prepared, she hid in the bushes near by and waited. Before nour could appear, she would catch sight of poem and jolt in surprise. Noir couldn't see Poem here, she darted forward, making hushing noises as she grabbed poem and dragged her behind the bushes, continuing to make hushing noises as she settled in under the bush. She pointed at her bed-trap, giggled and whispered for her sister to be quiet.

His sisters were good for something sometimes. The boy had recently seen Motif sneaking to a rather nice spot. Mousy little Motif, she wasn’t as much fun to tease as Poem was, but he’d go after Motif before he messed with Theory. She was just too bright for his snide remarks to get an adequate reaction. Of course the entitled pup deserved the comfortable spot that Motif had found, and the skin placed there was soft. He quickly took over.
He thought he’d seen Poem come this way, and he thought to himself that she had better not be coming to lay in his spot! He rounded the trees and found the fleece vacated and empty, just calling him.
With the late afternoon and a big lunch he couldn’t resist. Poem’s presence was forgotten and he trotted up to the sunning spot. Noir looked around, and assured he didn’t see anyone the boy let himself get comfortable for a nap. He heard a sound and disturbance under the fleece, and because he had just eaten wrote it off as a mole.
He got comfortable, and sighed heavily finding sleep quickly. Unfortunately for him he was a rough sleeper and that only encouraged the stink bugs to work their way up the fleece and onto his fur. This also cause him to crush a few, and that was when he woke up because of the stench.
His eyes flashed open as his head snapped up and he searched for the cause, when he saw the bugs in his blue streaked fur he stood. Noir rushed away from the fleece and shook himself, hoping to rid himself of the nuisance and keep from getting too stiny.
”Motif!” He screamed, knowing that this could be none other than her doing. Of course he’d never be able to prove it but he had a gut feeling he couldn’t ignore.

Poem had found it odd when Motif took her sleeping fleece, it was one she’d had since she was born. If she were more sentimental she might have told her sister no, but that was a word she really couldn’t say to Motif. Poem would have given up all of her furs if her darker sister would have asked. She hadn’t been completely satisfied with Motif’s answer about what she needed it for, but she didn’t push that topic either.
A few days later Poem had been searching for a nice place to take a nap after lunch when Motif was suddenly herding her into the brush. She didn’t understand for a moment, but her sister’s hushed tones quickly explained. She smiled widely, but Noir would take too long to appear. Poem fell asleep on Motif’s shoulder until Noir had walked right past their hiding place.
He seemed nervous, and looked around for them multiple times before laying down and going to sleep. Poem thought she was going to join him when he suddenly hopped back up and shook himself violently. Poem suppressed an eager exclamation of glee as she watched what happened.

Motif grinned widely as her plan came to action. She had almost fallen asleep with boredom when it had taken so long to work, and she was worried they had been crushed in the jar and had never made it out. It was worth it, to see the stink bugs crawling in his coat, and filling the air with a rotten stench. “Stay here” she whispered to Poem, she already got enough grief from this bully, she didn’t want her taking the rap for this. She winked at her sister, and wiggled her eyebrows before moving a paw to her eyes and then the scene, as through to say ‘watch this’
With all the mustered dignity she could, she scrambled out the back of the bush before marching into full view as through she hadn’t been in hiding at all. “Noir” she shrieked in dismay as soon as she saw him. It was very hard not to laugh, but she managed it. She was a young, often forgotten child, she wouldn’t be heir, or the top pick for a fight, but she held a lot of heart and determination. She loved her sister something ferocious, and knew that who she wanted to be was someone who stood up to bullies. “My bugs, my collection! You oof, you killed them!” she cried, actual tears running down her cheeks. “You horrible bully, why are you in my bed, thats my sleeping space she gave a soft howl of dismay. “You murderer!”

He was looking the other direction from Motif, his tail lashing behind him in anger as he scrubbed at the bugs near his face. Her shrill voice was suddenly in his ear and the boy whirled around to face his half sister. Noir’s eyes were narrowed to slits and his teeth were bared in a full on snarl. He could hardly hear what the other pup was saying, his heart beat loudly in his ears as he barely restrained himself.
Motif screamed at him and he couldn’t hold back his puppy wrath any longer. Noir made attempt to leap towards her, his hind legs coiling and releasing as he sought to close the distance between them. He opened his jaws wide, his hackles raised, eyes narrowed, and ears back against his skull. His striped tail lashed out behind him to help with his balance. Noir’s long legs hadn’t been grown into quite yet, and he needed all the held he could get in the grace department.
The boy aimed to slam his broad chest against’ Motif’s. Aiming the middle of his chest to collide with the point where her neck met her chest. He also tried to wrap his jaws around his sister’s face. The top jaw to grasp above her left eye and the bottom to hook around the bottom of her jaw. He’d widened the width between his front legs and aimed to wrap them around his sister’s shoulders. He wanted to use his weight to knock her to the ground.

Her sister had almost fallen asleep, but both of them were awake as the plan suddenly unfolded before them. She almost lifted herself from the shrub’s shade but Motif told her to stay, and silently explained she should watch. She watched as her sister went straight out and confronted their large half brother. She grinned, sure of their victory over him as Motif really put on the water works.
Poem felt the color drain out of her face as Noir suddenly exploded into action towards Motif’s form. The young Destruction couldn’t continue to sit and watch. Though she wouldn’t be able to reach them before Noir struck Poem wasn’t about to let her sister fight their bully alone.
The Destruction felt her haunches coil and she launched herself towards the fray. Her own hackles raised as anger took her, enraged to see Noir threaten her sister so. She aimed to put all of her weight in her left shoulder to throw herself into Noir’s left rear leg. She aimed to hit the broad part of the muscle, right in the middle so she might swing him around towards her instead of her sister. She tucked her chin and narrowed her gaze as she braced herself for impact.
