Light Upon Darkness

Glowing of light emanated from the pools that the alabaster wolf focused upon. He had only been traveling these lands for a little while, not really meeting many new faces but just trying to survive on his own accord. The glowing mushrooms were certainly something mystical to behold, considering in his old homelands that brute hadn't come across anything such as this before. There was no way he was going to ingest something so foreign to him, he wasn't too sure what its properties were like, so why should he risk his life?

His cranium tilted slightly, the sight was definitely beautiful at least. But, he admired from a distance as the illuminated mushrooms were almost like a nightlight, offering some form of comfort in the darkness that swallowed up the world when the sun was gone and the moon nowhere to be seen. He lied upon the ground, waiting to see if any possible passerby would happen to show their presence, but, he at least for now he would be able to rest his leg for a while. His limb kind of seemed like a liability, but, Gero had grown used to it considering the limb was quite worthless, and living off of three legs; though annoying, was not making things too difficult for him. If anything, it was just a new challenge, and he was always up for them.
