Their stay in Winterfell would not last much longer, they had offered what little help they could and as Fall rolled back in Vail and her husband were going to head south. Even in the summer the northern reaches were colder, and as the summer began to slip away the albino girl felt a chill run up her. She pushed herself closer to Solor, wrapping her paws around him as she tried to steal more of his body heat. He was already curled tightly around her but Vail wanted him closer. The morning was barely stirring, and they wouldn’t need to leave the den for breakfast for a few hours yet. Vail nuzzled her pale muzzle against Solor’s ear, enticing him to wake if only for a few minutes. ”Solor,” her words were soft, but her voice suggestive. ”Are you awake?”

”Mmm?” he said sleepily, enveloped in the warmth of her fur as she pushed tightly into his sleeping form. This den wasn’t the den of their home, and the scent of herbs wasn’t as noticable, inside or out. Of course, his little Winter Rose always smelled faintly of herbs and remedies , a unique mix of it that was all hers. Even in his half asleep state he could appreciate it, and his nose twitched appreciatively as he turned and buried his face into her coat.
But her voice spoke out again, questioning him, asking if he was awake, and with an overly dramatic sigh, he lifted his face again and opened one eye to look at his one true love. There was sleepy amusement there, as he turned his smile no her. “No” he replied to her question, before nibbling as the excess fur beneath her ear. “Are you?” he wondered.

She disturbed him enough that wakefulness brought him around. He pulled her closer and breathed softly against her ea before shifting slightly. The light wasn’t bright enough for her to see her husband’s playful expression but she could guess at it. She smiled softly and reached up to lick his nose before he put it to her ear. Vail giggled quietly as his affections sent excited shivers down her spine. ”No, are you?” She pressed herself against him, her true intentions more obvious in her body language. ”No, not yet.” She shook her head and returned his affections, nibbling his ear and kissing him eagerly. Vail shifted subtly, and took every advantage of the early morning.

“Ah” he said tactfully as her mood caught him, and he woke more fully as he looked into her pale blue eyes. They where the blue of a perfect day, and he could get lost, looking into them. ‘Are you sure?” he asked her softly, knowing how the stillborns had hurt her so. They had tried, tried very hard to pups, and he had to admit he wasn’t averse to the trying, he just hated to see her hurting. He didn’t want to get her pregnant only for it not to be everything she hoped and dreamed, again.
Still, he could not deny her, and as she encouraged him, he would fall into her grasp, and he would quickly forget his doubts as he let himself get carried away in the beauty that was his Winter Rose
