Getting her paws wet
Fishing with Samara

Fishing wasn't exactly Samara's strong suit... short limbs and all meant she usually had to just get into the water... which wasn't always pleasant, especially when you're short enough to be up to your stomach in the shallows. Still here she was! Samara narrowed her eyes as she eyed the fish out in the distance, waiting for the water to settle after she disturbed it, silently willing the fish to swim towards her. The school seemed to be settling and they started to mill closer to her, when one lazily swam within grabbing reach Samara darted her head into the water, jaws parted to try and grab it.

Looking after Deathbelle had taken up so much of her mental energy that was beginning to feel a bit on the fritz. She had checked her Empress in with Zee for the evening and then absconded to the shores - a little birdie had told her about a littermate flitting about...
Spotting Samara at low tide, Lucretia made a direct line to her sister, playfully bumping her shoulder when she got close enough. The petite Klein had the stink of another pack all over her. Luce cocked her head. "Hello, sister. What have you been up to? We've missed you in Ashen, although it's been busy enough without any additional mischief." She trained her eyes on the water and dove in for a fish as she chatted, hoping to snatch something prize-worthy.

Now that was a short wolf. As short as she was tall, except obviously on the opposite ends of the spectrum. Wait, that was a dumb comparison. Well, it made sense in her head, so oh well. Curious of the two wolves that were familiar to each other, Lyra joined them in the shallows. Unlike Samara, the shallows didn't go far up Lyra at all - but then again, Samara was about the size of Lyra as a 4 month old puppy, soooo... that made sense. In fact, she'd seen plenty of larger wolves - but not really any this tiny. She was tiny even compared to a lot of the dogs, not that there was much left. "I'm Lyra," she intruduced, nodding to them as she then focused on the water and tried once again for a fish.
