Oh...my. Tyrian zeroed in on the small shark that was cruising around the shallows. It was about five feet long and an absolute beast...and he wanted it. How cool would he look hauling that puppy up to the dude counting the fish? He'd look badass and everybody would be jealous.
Welp, that settled it. He had to have it.
Behind him Zahir had caught on to what he was thinking and was beginning to warn him away from the idea, but it was too late, he was already mid jump. Tyrian was determined. He was gonna get this shark if it was the last thing he did.

With spear in tow Armando scampered towards the shore. This was going to be round two for him. There was still time for take catch fish and he would be damned if he didn't fish until the end. Most of the competitors were a great deal bigger than him and presumably faster fish-catchers which meant he probably had to fish until the very last second in order to keep up with them.
Up ahead there was a trail of large stones that led out into the water a ways. Much like he had the first time he'd gone fishing, Armando bounded to the end and then stood up on his hind legs. He held the spear with the tines pointing downwards and then, spying a fish, stabbed after it.

Armando has a female tufted titmouse companion. It doesn't have a name because it's dumb and doesn't deserve one. Assume it's with him always.

Where Tyr was, Sparrow was. She would follow her uncle around like a shadow when she could. Not because she admired him- no never- or at least not that she would admit it, but he was kind of cool with his claws and fangs and companions and... it drove Sparrow CRAZY. She wanted to prove that she too could be just as cool as Tyr on any day even without mutations.
As soon as he jumped in after a BIG fish, Sparrow knew she had to join. There was no way she was gonna let her uncle show her up during the festival. This was her time to shine. This was her opportunity to shine and prove to the both of them that she could be king of the pirates. With that in mind, she bounded after Tyr and jumped after the shark, managing to only barely grab him by the back fin before swiftly getting knocked to the side. Failure was fine as long as she was able to get back up and try again.

Sparrow has a female Harlequin Macaw named Pongolo and a male Capuchin monkey named Friar, and a hairless mushroom tuxedo cat named Beef Sandwich. She also has cat claws... and some weird leg spike things.

Tyrian somehow managed to straddle the shark. He quickly tucked all of his legs in so that they were wrapped tightly around the shark's belly. The shark, of course, was none too pleased and immediately began to thrash around.
Somewhere behind him Zahir was shouting but he couldn't tell what she was saying and didn't care to find out. Why? Because shark.
Now that he technically had it, Tyrian wasn't sure what to do next. If he let go with a leg or two to claw his way to shore the shark would definitely get away from him.
Cue Sparrow. Tyrian didn't really want to share the glory with her but he could use the help. Not that he would admit that out loud, but clearly Zahir wasn't going to help.

Sparrow was helping, she was sure of it. And Tyr was going to be so happy he was going to thank her for it later. He was going to say how they made a good team and that she was one of the boys like him and Alarr. She could feel it. This festival was going to be where she proved herself to all of them. She had to since she was going to be king of the pirates one day whenever her dad decided to step down, or maybe she'd start another band of pirates and they could be like brother bands. But all of that hinged on whether or not she could catch this shark. Sparrow paddled her way over to the side and made a valiant kick in order to sink her teeth into its skin. But it was tougher and slicker than she thought and she failed to get a hold. Not that that stopped her. She tried again to catch fish.

Armando hauled his spear back, plucked his catch off the tines, and then stood ready and waiting for his next chance to arise. The spear was heavy and it made his joints ache, but he was content to ignore it. There were prizes to be had and he wasn't about to let a little ache slow him down.
An unsuspecting fish swam too close to the rock where he stood and Armando quickly raised the spear over his head and brought it down with all of his might on the water. Its sharp tines broke the surface with nary a sound and its slim design meant it cast only the barest of shadows. Hopefully those two things would enable it to go undetected by the fish until it was too late.

The water was a cleanly and godly thing. Although most Abraxas might think fire or storms were worthy of awe in showing God's wrath, the bodies of water like this ocean showed a deeper type of hatred and death. Something so vast with the ability to take and give life, that was truly a godly presence. Its own depth and seemingly endless expanse could be directly a representation of God's own being as well as his power and control over the world and all that was.
Although he would have liked to stare at the water and ponder God's wonders, he could not forget he was here to capture fish. There was a festival going on and he needed the fish for the prized tickets. Obi stood with a stick ready to thrash any fish that swam by. Archon readied himself, then aimed, then launched.
