Hannibal!
|
Hannibal had been making his rounds through the pack lands when he heard the call. The male just went to visit his daughter and drop off a meal. The male made it a point to spend time daily with Banshee otherwise he feared she may go down a not so positive path. But, besides all that the male was instantly on his way to heed his siblings summons. Hannibal wasn't able to spend much quality time with his newly arriving siblings due to the onslaught of duties that had come his way. Being gifted such a high position was one thing but to live up to its meaning and purpose were completely different things. He spent every waking moment ensuring the fortitude of their lands as well as the overall well-being and happiness of the pack. This also did not include the importance of maintaining his coming broods and their mothers. It did not take long for the demon to arrive. Pad falls beat against the crisp earth like war drums. They slowed solemnly as he moved to stand about seven tail lengths away. Hannibal wasn't going to greet his sibling with the same affection as he normally would. The call had the air of a challenge. A fight was what Harbringr desired and that is exactly what Hannibal intended on delivering. As an alpha it was important for him to test and improve his skills at all times. His previous defeats were to be nothing but the past. - Hannibal dipped his head down with a gentle grin, "Let us have some fun, brother." The Hand lowered into a defensive stand. Head aligned with spine and muzzle tilted downward, ears flat with eyes narrowed, knees and elbows bent, tail flagged out for balance, and breathing steady. "Lay it one me." None of that 'taking it easy' stuff. Hannibal vs Harbringr for Spar |

As the fight began Hannibal's defenses were pretty locked and loaded. Elbows and knees bent, eyes narrowed, lips curled up, ears flat, breathing steady, weight distributed evenly, tailed flagged out, head lowered, and muzzled pointed down. He only took a moment to ensure he was focused and his mind was clear before sprinting forward to meet his sibling's own charge. They clashed with Harbringr's right shoulder hitting the center of Hannibal's chest. The force of the shoulder slam would likely leave a good amount of bruising to the albino's chest but it was not enough to dwell on in the adrenaline filled moments of their spar. - As Harbringr's right shoulder came upward at Hannibal's throat the albino was ready with a quick snap of his fangs. Due to his defenses the Hand's muzzle was pointed downward to protect his throat from such an attack. Thus, he was quick to meet such an attack with exposed fangs. The bite was aimed at the top of the jutted out shoulder with Hannibal's head shifted lightly to his own left to position the left portion of his face away from Harbringr. He didn't wan't to leave himself open for anymore easy attacks. Meanwhile, Harbringr was not finished with his initial assault. As Hannibal was focused on his top half his brother went for a paw slam. Har slammed his right paw down onto Hanni's left paw. The intital force of the slam brought forth a sharp growl from the albino's throat. Hannibal was very quick to react by quickly attempting to force his left front paw backwards to ensure Har was unable to pin his toes down. Hannibal could feel lulls of throbbing in the damaged paw but he was still able to move his toes enough to make it evident nothing was broken or too severely damaged. Hanni redistributed his weight to his two hind legs and his front right leg while his front left recovered. While this was happening Har was quick to connect a bite at Hannibal's right lower outer portion of shoulder. It was not a vicious bite but it was enough to draw blood and cause some stinging pain. Another growl could be heard from the albino but this time it was low and from the bellows of his throat. As Har's bite connect Hannibal ensured his defenses were settled once again. He cooled his breathing and maintained balance. After only a split second he was ready for more. Hanni would aim to dig into the earth with his hind paws and press himself froward slightly into Harbringr to apply an idle pressure. It was an attempt at mildly distracting his brother by adding just another element to the battle to pay attention to. Meanwhile, Hannibal would bare the pain and raised that wounded front left leg, bent at the knee, in hopes to jut the top of the knee into Harbringr's sternum between his two front legs. Hannibal was hoping to make use of his damaged paw and inflict some blunt damaged to his brother.

The brother's collided in a hefty explosion of chest bruising and growls. Pain rang through Hannibal's chest in multiple locations and his raised front paw was throbbing due to the slam. It was a pain the male was familiar with but it hurt nonetheless. As well as bruising Hannibal had endured a bite wound to his right shoulder in the lower region. The puncture wounds were moderate with blood seeping through his formerly pristine white pelt. The stinging sensation of bacteria laced fangs entering his flesh was enough to flood Hannibal's mind with anxiety but also adrenaline. Hannibal's assault to Har's sternum connected but it was evident the mild thrust of knee to bone didn't do much to his brother. As they grew closer the alpha was quick to ensure his defenses were locked in. Narrowed eyes, flagged tail, flattened ears, bent elbows and knees, as well as focused breathing. It was the last few moments of their fight and he wouldn't loose his focus just yet. Suddenly, Har pushed forward and hooked Hannibal's front right leg. The movement caused the albino to stumble back a step with wide eyes. The push was enough to nearly knock the wind out of the alpha as he sought to correct his footing. But, all of that combined with the thrashing of his brother's head caused the albino to be forced to quickly take a step back and dig his hind paws into the earth. Just barely able to remain on his paws. As this happened Hannibal aimed to snap eager fangs at his opponent's right scruff region as a last resort. With hopes of managing to dig his teeth and maybe tear at his brothers flesh before the fight was over. Hannibal Iber Klein vs Harbringr Klein for Spar |
The night air is crisp and cool above the two warriors. The clear sky shines until it becomes darkened by the shadow of one bird, then another, and yet another. Before long, the sky is no longer visible and only the flapping of wings can be heard. For several moments, the flurry continues until the birds eventually have perched themselves around or flown away.
