This time Acere Praetor and Heloise cel Mare!

The pups are due September 13th; we would like for applications to be in by September 10th. Only people who do the whole application will be considered so keep that in mind! finish your pup application for a chance! NOTE; you get a discount of 25% for up to 42”. Make some big ones!

We get THREE free pups and will consider gem cost for each individual RPer. If you are new and are picked, for instance, you will get a free pup. Don’t let your newbie status deter you! Due to the fact, these are alpha pups… there is no guarantee of Heir status either; an Heir for Winterfell will be picked due to pup activity and participation. Firstborn does not mean the first choice!

Name themes will be wintery, northern, cold themed. The names already taken are Whittaker (male), Ice (male) and Winter (female). Fen, Drag and I will be playing Helcere children so expect to thread/plot with us a lot. Acere and Heloise will be actively RPing with their pups (no abandonment etc) so expect lots of family threads! We also have the right to take away your pup if you fail to be active. Keep that in mind! You’re free to make the application fancy but keep the key points there. Thanks and good luck!

Hi hello Dragon here! A few things I'd like to add:
-No spiteful/hateful/bratty pups please! There should be absolutely no reason for them to turn out that was without actual development and reasons for it, but considering Ace and Heloise would be raising them as noble, honorable, etc. Then I expect this shouldn't be a problem.

-any designs provided by us are exclusive to ardent and are NOT to be used anywhere else without permission by us. That being said, the design used for the pup(s) will remain with the pup. If you choose to buy art then it's expected that art goes with the character as well as any purchases (unless you're at or under the refund limit).

-Alignments should remain in the lighter/neutral spectrum, maybe even chaotic but preferably no evil alignments. Of course alignment can always change as characters develop, just don't start them off in an evil alignment please.

-Helcere pups will more than likely be showered in art. I've been waiting a long time for this and they're gonna be spoiled icly and oocly lol

-If you make your own design then you're giving permission for the design to remain with the character. If on the other hand, it's a design you want to keep for the future then I advise you choose one of the offered designs.

- Do NOT modify any of these designs without first asking permission and getting approval by me or daisy first.

-Colors in the family are white/brown/black/grays/albino/melanistic/reds (recessive probably). Eye colors red, blue, amber/yellow, green, purple, (anything really idc).

- Acere is a dire wolf while Heloise is 30". Heights/builds, etc. May vary!

Bathed mostly in white, she is a long legged lanky wolf with a slim build and lean muscle clinging tightly to her frame. Her pristine white coat is marred by black markings that begin around her eyes, dipping down her cheek and to her jaw and then down her neck and into her chest. This black covers her under belly, traces from her chest up along her shoulder to her back before stopping abruptly. Her ears are dipped black, as well as her front feet. Her tail, mostly white appears to have been dragged through ink on the bottom and tip. Her forehead is smudged with a black streak in the center, as are her brows. Her eyes are two toned, one being piercing blue and the other being bright, striking yellow/gold.

As mentioned, she has a lean build with legs for days. It is clear from birth that she will never be a bulky wolf, not built for fighting but for running. Her long legs make her an excellent scout and with such a lithe frame she is much more agile when she needs to be.


Personality;
Attentive- Orca is very attentive to what is going on around her, even at a young age she shows a knack for paying attention to small details…she also has an uncanny ability to recall information (although far from perfect…especially as a pup). She pays sharp attention to those that speak, as a pup she will struggle with paying attention to multiple people/things. She absorbs information like a sponge making her a quick learner and a valuable asset when it comes to listening to what she shouldn’t be.

Mischievous- Orca has a devious streak, she is bold and confident- a dangerous combo. She lives for the adrenaline rush- even as a pup- and often finds herself in less than ideal situations. That being said, her favorite thing to do is sneak up and listen in on anyone…not too dangerous as long as she does it in the pack…right? Orca loves a good adventure and she is unlikely to turn one down- ever. Once she commits to an adventure, she doesn’t like to give it up easily but even she knows when something is too dangerous.

Bold- Orca is not afraid to speak her mind, she will easily tell someone off if she doesn’t agree with them. She has no problem arguing her point with those that are older or bigger than her and as a pup, she rarely knows when to stop until its too late. Her stubbornness is tied to her boldness, leaving her hard headed and ‘set in her ways’.

Sly- Orca has a slippery streak, if you get what I mean. She is a bit of a lier, but even more than that, she is careful with her word choice. From a young age, she will learn to twist the words and meaning of others to get her way the ‘legal’ way. As she matures this will shift into being more manipulative and crafty with her words and actions.

Loyal- Orca is above all, loyal to her family. She loves them and would do anything for them. Outside of Winterfell, it is hard for her to accept that anyone has authority over her. Her lack of respect for other leaders will surely get her or her family into trouble at some point. As she matures, there is nothing Orca won’t do for her family and her pack, if its commanded she will carry it out- not to say she will do so blindly though.

Confident- Orca is very confident in herself, it is rare that you see her carrying herself in such a way that says she is second guessing herself or her abilities. Even as a young pup she knows she is worth something- and not just because of who her parents are- she commands respect from her peers though she doesn’t understand what exactly that means as a pup…and it may not work in her favor until she is older. This is not a wolf that you can beat into submission, she will always get up and try try again, her confidence is seemingly unbreakable.

Defiant- Orca does not like being bossed around, she will accept orders from her pack and family, but she may grumble about it a bit…but from others outside of her pack and family, they are met with a rebellious child that simply wont bend or bow. Orca prides herself on being tough and resilient as well as elegant and poised, she can play both parts when the situation arises.

As she matures, Orca will shift from an innocent pup with talent to a fierce weapon. She will know how to fight, but her real talent will be in her uncanny ability to remember details and her knack for getting where others cannot. She is a listener and a sneak, a master of shadows if you will.

Plans;
skills: Fighting & Navigation ( specialty being either Saboteur or Fleet-footed/infiltrator)

Mostly her plots will be ic generated with only a few key points that I want to push. Those key points are - spying on someone outside of the pack, eavesdropping on something 'important' within the pack and later bringing it up (even if it is something like her parents talking lol- itd be important to her XD) and there is one other thing that I will dm you both about cause its super secret.

If all goes well, she aims to take the Master if Whispers position once she is matured and has proven herself.

Cost; will be buying extra height, just not sure how much yet. Would love a free pup, but can pay if needed, will eventually have a large companion.
RP Sample;

A pup should not know what a volcano is, or what ash is, at least…not as a lesson so early on in their life. Unfortunately, she knew. Mismatched gaze lingered on the very distant southern lands, ash still fell from the sky and it was freezing outside. Winter was bad enough but with the ash falling so frequently and covering what little sun there was the temperature had apparently plummeted. Orca knew nothing else but cold, however, except of course when she was in the den. Shivering, the pup huffed and turned away, intent on making the most of the little bit of sunshine that filtered through the dense clouds here and there.

Large paws and long legs were an awkward combination, causing her to trip frequently as she wandered out of the den area and into the surrounding snow and ash drifts. Orca was intent to simply pounce around in the snow, but then she heard it. A loud voice…well voices. Curious, the pup would stop, black tipped ears coming forward as she listened before a grin pulled at her lips and she hunkered down close to the snow and moved forward. A soft crunch followed with each step she took, that would not do! She paused when the voices stopped, had they heard her? She ducked lower, almost holding her breath. When they continued, she moved slower, dragging her feet through the snow to muffle the sound. Orca hid behind a tree when she could hear the voices more clearly, it was someone fighting. Well, to be more specific, it was her siblings fighting. Curiously, she peeked her head around the base of the tree, but they were gone. What? Where did they go? It was then that she heard a loud ‘CHARGE’ and as she snapped her head around, a body collided with hers, sending her off her feet. She should have been mad, and maybe she was, but even she couldn’t stop laughing as she looked up at her brother. “You got me, now get off!” She laughed, pushing at his chest with her front paws.

A wolf that comes from a mic of arctic and northern wolf breeds she has come from a line of wolves meant to survive and adapt. She is on the smaller side compared to 80% of her bloodline. Most of her family ranges from the large to the extra large scale with medium to heavy builds. So she is smaller, but of average build for her family. She has a plush coat of fur and in the wintertime it is extra thick all over her body including between her paw pads. She can handle living within the north, in harsher and colder temperatures. If she were to choose to live in warmer climate her body would adapt, still having a thicker coat then normal but her lack of darker color helps to keep her cooler in warmer temperatures.

Her fur colors also reflect the northern breeds within her bloodline. 98% of her fur is a pristine, snow white color. She will be the first to tell you that it is not easy to keep that fur clean, but she does her best to keep her fur clean. She does have some color to her body which is a dark charcoal markings on her body. Starting at her hind end the grey runs a thick strip along the top of her tail the whole length. She had a little snip that goes roughly about two inches along her spine, towards her head. Her paw pads are also a dark charcoal color along with her nose. The remainder of her markings are focused on her face. A large thick strip of color on her nose. Off that small lines shoot off to outline her eyes. Lastly her eyebrows and the rims of her ears have the charcoal color. Lastly she has beautiful deep blue eyes.

Personality;
You won't have much trouble when it comes to getting along with her. She will never wake up in the morning with the goal to be nasty to others. That will never happen in this women's life. She doesn't have the heart or the drive to be mean or standoffish to others, not matter what she is going through. When meeting others she tends to keep an open mind and no matter how the other acts she will treat them with a kind and reserved attitude. She does not like to be potentially rude to others and if she's nearby she will let you know somehow. She is a social creature and does like interacting with others and will not pass up the chance to meet someone. Her parents raised her a bit old fashioned in the fact that it is right to be nice and polite to everyone until they show you otherwise. She airs on the side of caution when it comes to disclosing to much information. Remaining reserved and not disclosing information that could be used against her or those she cares about.

She is an adaptable creature in most cases and knows how to both live on her own and within a group of others. She is physically, emotionally, and mentally adaptable in most cases and does her best to adapt quickly. She is also fairly easy going when it comes to changes within her life and she tries to focus on how to adapt and to continue on versus getting worked up or overly upset. Likewise her emotions are always put on the back burner. She is not the type of wolf that will freely show others her more private emotions. She feels those emotions should only be shown to those extremely close within your life. She will act like she has everything together, but at the end of the day when she is alone and no one is around her emotions will be let loose. This is another thing that most consider her old fashioned for. Things like this and relationships between mates she believes are meant to be more private. More intimate actions and emotions are not meant for the public eye and she will keep it that way. It can make it difficult for relationships with her because she she is more reserved and will not be all over another freely.

She is not a creature that will give in or give up easily. If she has her mind set to do something she will not stop until she gets it done. This means being a task or even personal beliefs. She is family driven as well and family is very important to her. She tends to be a rather protective person and will not hesitate to put her life on the line to save her family. Along with being protective she tries to be a pillar for her family. Providing stability, a shoulder to lean on, an ear to bend, and someone they will not fear going to. She tries to solve things with a level head instead of letting her emotions take over.

Pack status: Work to earn Master of laws or King's Justice. She may even be willing to create a sister pack when old enough

RP Sample;
She was eager, unable to sleep most of the night and was way beyond excited for today. Why? Her parents had spoken of taking her and her siblings out of the den for the first time today. She was barely able to contain her excitement for their first trip out of the den. Both her parents had always come back to the den littered with interesting scents from the outside world. Now she would have the opportunity to discover what those scents truly were and she was beyond excited. She would anxiously wait within the den, shaking a little bit with anticipation as she waited to hear her parents call them from the den. Her blue eyes briefly looked over at her siblings before looking to the den entrance again. It had felt like they were taking FOREVER to complete their morning rounds and she was getting anxious with all this waiting.

FINALLY, she heard her father's summoning bark and she was the quickest to spring forward and dart out of the den. She had no fear as she ran up the tunnel and out into the big open world. She first would run to her father and plop down before him, but soon after her blue eyes began to rove over everything she could see, trying to take in as much as quickly as she could. To the sky, to the snow, to the tree, to the little creature running up the tree. Everywhere she looked there was something new to discover, but she remained put knowing she would have to wait until their father gave the go ahead. She was sure there would be rules that she would need to fallow, so she was fine with just looking at everything for the time being.

Although she was taken perfect care of after birth, Lumi's little ears never quite stood up. The cartilage there is just too weak to support the typical fluted ears of a grown wolf; instead, they will remain folded like a jovial dog. Her base coat is a pure white like both of her parents, but unlike them, she is also missing a tail. While some wolves sport a docked tail or small nub, Lumi simply doesn't seem to have a tailbone at all. Her rump is smooth and furry with not a tail to speak of. Altogether, these features will make her forever seem a little bit younger than her years, even as an adult. Spots of slate grey merle dot her body, particularly over her right eye and shoulders. The same merle is also found on her front left leg as a higher sock marking.

Her eyes are mismatched with the left eye being blue and right eye yellow. Lumi's nose is a soft pink color, often inflamed to a darker reddish color due to the cold. Luckily, she is well-suited to the winter climate. Having grown up in the north, her fur is thick and pillowy, particularly the feathering around her rump. Lumi's paws are larger than average with extra feathering between her toes, making her an excellent snow trekker.

Personality; Lumi is a complete mommy's girl. She is a soft-hearted, soft-spoken little pup that looks up to Heloise's striking and dutiful presence. It is likely that she will have trouble standing up for herself as she grows up. Her well-meaning nature makes her a bit of a pushover at times, not to mention easily manipulated by others. If she believes that she is helping someone else, Lumi will go to great lengths to make sure that whatever task is at hand gets completed. She is easily susceptible to praise and compliments, a true people-pleaser from the tips of her ears to the bottom of her paws.

While she may be pliable, her morals are anything but. This girl has a very firm belief in "right" and "wrong." Lumi has a bonafide aversion to wolves that she believes to be selfish or have dubious motives. When she grows up, she wants to be placed in a position where she can protect Winterfell and her family. She is a true northerner with a strong affection for the colder climate. Along with this reverence for her homeland comes a very particular respect for the creatures that live there. Lumi becomes easily attached to wild creatures and, when hunting, makes sure that every kill is given an honorable death.

RP Sample; Lumi watched the fox gracefully over the thick crust of ice that hard formed overnight on the snowdrifts. She liked how the landscape always seemed to remake itself overnight. Every time she slept, the world was brand new. Carefully, the much smaller predator crept across the tundra. The pup moved behind it at a leisurely pace. She had been observing it for a few hours now without interruption. Watching the other northern inhabitants was one of her favorite past times. They all shared this bitterly cold area together and Lumi was sure that they could teach her something important. In the distance, she heard her mother call for all of her children. She stared after her friend-from-a-distance mournfully, but dutifully turned to race back towards the dulcet tones of Heloise's voice.

Appearance; (Design 1) He emerges from the frigid depths of ice and snow sporting a pristine stark pelt, undeniable to his heritage to the northern front. However he is no mere cut-glass ice statue to be fawned at and treated delicately. Much like the towering mountains of his home, he is bulky and steadfast since childhood not so easy to be knocked down or pushed around. A cool grey grips the nape of his neck before conquering the majority of his back in its steely ruggedness. The edge of its markings end in a sharp feathered streak. The grey is separated by an unsuspecting blond slash that may be the only ‘smile’ he is willing in admitting to bear against a festering seriousness and competitiveness inside him. This same cold stone hue ravages the plump tail of the boy whilst simultaneously outlining thick sturdy legs. A harsher ashen hue brings focus to the youth's seemingly funny large paws. However it's the intricate marking on the boys face that emerges pridefully in contrast to the entirety of his appearance. With closer inspection, one may say it resembles an avian figure of sorts - with its wings spread open and his vigilant azure gaze it may be an indication of a growing desire to protect.

Personality; In his childhood, he will sport a keen sense of wonder for the world, particularly the homeland he is raised in. He is that child that begs his parents to recount just one more story of their legendary battles against formidable foes and aspires to be just as strong as them, if not more. From youth he will hold an interest in athletics; determined to master the art of battle. Though it is not to say that he looks down upon other forms of strength. He values knowledge just as much and treasures the words of wisdom he receives although he may not understand them or accept them, in the beginning. He has no interest in having his name written down in history books. His one and only purpose is to be worthy of serving Winterfell and his family. This can often lead to high expectations he imposes himself which result in him being too focused to achieve these expectations to enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

Loss is a bitter pill to swallow. Praise holds little meaning if inside he still feels defeated. What chaos he may hold is a personal battle with the self rather than an insult taken from a stranger. The opinions of others are of little importance, unless it is an exasperated sigh of disappointment from a revered elder or family member. When discovered the cruelty and harshness of life amid all the wonders, his trust will be slow to earn. However once proven, his loyalty is boundless. This can be seen in the way he carries himself bearing  core values of the pack and his undying love to kin.

Plans; It is unlikely (although not impossible) for him to leave winterfell unless it comes with reasons of necessity such as food/missions etc. He is too duty-bound to be going on spontaneous explorations. However that is not to say that I’m not hoping for some spice ;)

Fighting and Hunting/Intellect
- He strives for Lord Commander(Fighting - ?)/ Lord Commander of the Kingsguard (Fighting Bodyguard/Defender?)
- May also settle for Master of War where he will be actively training those who wish to hone their skills (Intellect Professor?)

Considering I’m a newbie I have 400 gems to spend if I'm not mistaken.

If the marking on the muzzle of design one classifies as one of the following:

400 Regular Shaped Markings* You may have shapes like hearts or stars on your character.
300 Odd Shaped Markings* Your character may have extreme swirls or any irregularly shaped pattern on its coat.
Then I will initially spend on that. I’m gonna need help deciding which one it is though.
Afterwards I’m hoping to earn enough AP to spend on extra height to exceed 36 inches

RP Sample;(This sample is of a character of mine. Hope it’s alright) Breathe boy, breathe. The baritone voice echoes from the cavernous depths of Kitai’s mind.  Y’see that hunk of meat? That’s key to y’er future.  Chartreuse eyes do not falter from the piece of carcass that remains separated from the rest. A rosy tongue brushes parched lips as saliva builds up in his mandible. Y’get that, you win. Lids close as the pup slowly takes in the crisp night air. The oxygen enters his body quieting the unsolicited voice from his past. Kitai was lucky to come across two skilled hunters with such a tremendous catch. The duo was now deep in slumber after savoring their spoils of the hunt. As the boy’s skeletal body shifts into position, the tambourines inside his rib cage begin their mantra. First, they are slow long beats; as the earthen boy creeps towards the gnawed hind leg of some creature of a larger stature he couldn’t recognize in the darkness of the night. Gentle and calculating, Kitai aims to hold the leg on the thinner area, where the bone was exposed. A quick glance darts back at adults as he begins to leave the area, seemingly undetected. “Bunch of Eejits.” He snickers, trotting with confidence still holding his new found prize. The tambourines almost cease their chant, almost, until a figure darker than night itself emerges before the boy. “You didn’t think you’d get away that easy, did you now?”

but ultimately some hard decisions were made
