sweetest grass

He wasn't sure when the raiding would start so Dag was fully committed to making the most of his downtime. The chilly spring was just fine with him. With his heavily furred mantle, the weather was finally comfortable again. Ash had begun to slow down and if he squinted he could almost pretend that the sky was blue. Just lovely. The viking was lounging nearby their most recent meeting space. He wanted to make himself available to Valkyrie if she went looking for him but that didn't mean he couldn't take some... personal time. Dag grunted and rolled on to his back, peering up at the sky. His eyes were red and his tongue lolled out of his mouth. The return of spring meant the return of all the exceptional herbs that he liked to chew, consume, and brew. He'd been plotting this particular concoction throughout the dim winter days and cold nights. It had been worth it.
Cannabis leaves mashed into honey with some dried stems from some shrooms he had been saving for a special occasion. Well, a sunny day was a special occasion. He closed his eyes and let the warmth undulate through his body. It was just starting to hit.

Darya hadn't ever really lived in a pack, so it was taking some time to get used to it. This was made particularly hard with there being another group of wolves who seemed to be living nearby. As far as she'd ever been aware usually packs protected their borders... but then she didn't know if this was a temporary land for the pack or not, what with the volcano and everything, not for the first time in her life Darya was grateful for her northern born coat, it helped to shield her from the uncharacteristic chill of the season. Snow white paws carried the hellspawn through the land she'd been brought too, hellfire gaze sweeping her surrounding. Much as Darya was shy she knew she lived among others now which meant she needed to get better about interacting with others, the scents of the two groups mingled a decent amount and it wasn't always easy to tell who belonged to Legion like her and who belonged to the rest but she supposed if they were sharing the space it didn't matter as much. So she wandered the basin. Her fiery gaze landing on a man sprawled out in the grasses. The woman approached, though she stayed a respectful distance away. "Приветствую" She said, slipping into her mother tongue out of habit. "Говорить" |

Cannival Cannival was technically free of her debt to the vikings, however after the volcano erupted she'd had no idea where to go to find Risen's Empire nor Abaven. Both territories she'd visited were empty, and the soft-hearted cat found herself returning to the band she'd called home for a season not out of duty but because she'd had nowhere else to go. They'd planned on raiding someone soon, and Cannival knew she'd stick around until that happened. There was no way she'd join them in such an assault, it hurt her to think of putting her advantaged strength up against any wolf. For now she spent most of her time rounding on the vikings and making sure nobody was getting themselves into trouble without a healer present. Dagfinn - one of the vikings she'd known in passing but hardly spoke to - was lounging happily when a stranger approached. Cannival leapt off her nearby tree and strode over, wanting to be there in case there was an issue that needed to be tended to. While she'd likely not fight anyone, a hungry rogue wolf might think twice about going for Dag if a lioness stood nearby. She'd not understood the words the stranger spoke, and so she greeted her cautiously. "Hello there." Careful to keep her body language neutral as to not spook the wolf, Cannival plopped onto her rear end beside Dag and offered the woman a small smile. |
