A new land full of grand opritinuties. As horribly cheesy as it sounded the male was flourished with goals and ambitions. Learning from his previous mistakes of getting overwhelmed or being impulsive he would take things slow. But, overall his main focus would be the Empire. Many things had muddled his vision in the past. Lust, greed, and violence. Emotion easily got the best of the indulgent beast but he aimed to take action against such flaws. As the pups of the pack grew he knew he'd need to lead by example. No longer would he beg for forgiveness from his own offspring neither. Hannibal took a month or so to reflect on the best path to take for the matter. All of his children hated him. What would he do? Treat them like everyone else. He would not be harsh nor cold. But, if they did not desire him as a father he'd merely be their superior. Overall he just wanted them to rise up to their fullest potential as Kleins. All these invasive thoughts weaved their way into his mind as pink pads carried that slender frame through the plains. Eyes took in their new territory with curiosity. The sun was low in sky as the moon took her mighty reign. Some would say it was the golden hour as purples and oranges painted the heavens. It was the only time the albino could handle the sun's horrific gaze. Hannibal moved slowly with the high grass dancing along his slim legs. Lips were pulled into a tiny neutral grin and eyes narrowed. Taking in each scent and sight to fully take everything in. |
It had been far too long since Vexation had been home but ever since seeing Deathbelle and being welcomed back into the Empire with open arms Vexation felt like she was on one hell of a high. She felt confident again and carefree and almost overwhelmed with emotion and love. Of course her first priority was to locate each of her siblings. It had been too much time since she had seen any of them and she was growing increasingly uncomfortable with the emotional space between her and them. Seeking them out was harder then it looked, they were an ever growing family and each had their own set of responsibilities and tasks to attend to. Vexation was a bit of a night owl in comparison to other wolves so even as the sun began to dip further and further down she only seemed to become more awakened by it. Eventually night encompassed her, camouflaging her as her deep ash grey fur blended with her surroundings, melting into one. Up ahead she saw a brief flicker and for a moment she paused, amber eyes narrowing slightly. The tall, agile figure made her way forward on soft paws as she followed the tracks left from the other. Until Vexation realized that the individual was her brother and she found herself running excitedly. Hannibal came into view and she nearly barreled him over as she collided with him, attempting to reach out and pull on his tattered left ear playfully. "Hanni boy!! Did ya miss me?" She exclaimed eagerly before planting a big kiss on his cheek. She was certainly the more boisterous of the siblings and definitely more affectionate. She would squeeze him until he popped if she could but for now she settled with pulling back and staring at him with nothing but affection in those amber eyes. |
Hannibal recalled the last time he lived in the shrine. He was a slave master of Erovrare beneath Tyranis. His first litter had just been born and his Alpha's was not far behind. As the male walked through the wilds he could imagine the sight of his three pups. Mordecai, Recluse, and Banshee. Three promising balls of joy. Now they either hated him to the core or they were missing. The thoughts made the albino beast shake his head silently. Yet, the sorrow was cut through like butter by the spitfire that was his sister. Inky black fur and amber eyes filled his vision in a flash. "Vex." Disbelief and surprise filled his voice as he was embraced by the dark beauty. Hannibal took a moment to nuzzle her scruff as she tugged at his tattered ear. Hannibal chuckled slightly as he nipped at her cheek playfully. They parted and his hauntingly pale eyes connected with her vibrant amber gaze. Vex was the breath of fresh air he needed in that horribly melancholy moment. "Not a moment passed that I did not feel the pain of your absence." Luxurious lashes fluttered against his devious gaze as he continue those silver laced tones. "Have you joined our sister's Empire?" |
Vexation was completely thrilled to be seeing her brother Hannibal. She was also quite happy to see that he seemed to be in good health and just as devilishly handsome as usual. Nothing had changed, or at least she hoped nothing had changed since the last time she had seen and really spoken to him. 'Vex. Not a moment passed that I did not feel the pain of your absence.' Vexation couldn't help but smile coyly at her brother, "The feeling is mutual..believe me." Her words were meant to soothe him, she didn't want him to think that she had certainly been gone willingly. She was under the impression that she had been too much for her siblings but now she was beginning to wonder if she had made a terrible mistake. Nevertheless she would not be leaving again, they would have to pull her limb by limb if they wanted her gone. 'Have you joined our sister's Empire?' He questioned and this time Vexation pulled her haunches beneath her to sit as she made herself comfortable before replying. "Indeed I did.. you are looking at the newest and finest Noble Priestess." She spoke with pride and a devious smile on her face. "Tell me what you've been up to.. knowing you I'm sure there have been plenty of adventures to speak of." She said with a grin. |
