Full moon

Zee set off with Sirius in tow for her last island, thrilled with the prospect of being able to claim she'd seen them all. Silver Isle she'd saved for last, having admired it in her time living in the west. It was shaped almost like the moon, and the sand that lined it's shores glimmered almost like magic beneath the night sky. She tilted her head back to survey the island's namesake, identifying the moon quickly and admiring it's nearly perfect shape. A full moon tonight, the light of which reflecting off the sand and making the new queen and recently now mother wolf feel at peace for the first time in a long while. The stars shone up above, and Zee thought back to her lesson with Harbringr. The idea of a little bear and big bear in the sky was silly, but regardless by identifying the stars within she could direct herself around without an escort and not get lost.

They were lucky that Deathbelle loved to spend time with their little ones. It gave Zee and Sirius a chance to sneak off and explore the islands. Sirius was interested more in taking a tumble on ever different land with Zee then he was in exploring them, but he managed to keep that observation to himself.
Getting him to an island was a nerve wracking chore, and required a great deal of patience on Zees behalf. She had helped him a little with swimming lessons to the island closer to home, but he was not exactly installed with confidence as he made the uncomfortable swim to this silver island. As he pulled himself ashore, Zee would already be admiring the moon and the sparkling sand of the island itself. He shook himself off with a grumble, trying to hide the trembling of his legs. "Race you to the other side" he said, to cover his embarrassment, giving her little time to agree before he was off, racing across the island.

It took her more time then the last time with Hari there to guide her, but eventually her gaze fell upon the first bear-shape in the sky that he'd taught her to use. The north star was an important navigational tool, and Zee had decided to look for it each night to hone that skill. Luckily there were little clouds in the sky, and so they could shine freely without obstruction. Zee hadn't thought to ask Hari how he navigated the night sky under cloud cover.
Sirius' voice pulled her out of her thoughts and she looked towards him, giving him a soft smile as he shook himself free of the water. One day she'd make a swimmer out of him, but likely not anytime soon. He was just so damn fluffy. He took off across the silver sand and Zee followed with a laugh, racing him. Along them towered tropical palm trees, at their feet sprawled fruits that had fallen from the branches. Their sweet scents wafted up to her and she sniffed them greedily as they ran. "Wait up! How am I to explore when the world is racing past me in a blur!" She questioned playfully.

"I'm training you to think on your feet" he called tartly over his shoulder as he took them across the island in a thundering of paws. It warmed him, and he occasionally shook himself every other step to clear the water from his fur. He didn't let up until they had travelled a good distance over the island, and then he let his steps slide, turning back to Zee who had kept up with him - despite the little belly she still needed to work off after carrying the pups. Not that he would be pointing that out to her of course, he would just be pushing her a little when they had time to train, to get her back into fighting trim
Zee being in a state to defend herself was of utmost importance to the Warlord. "So theres trees, sand, grass and birds. Check, check and check" he said playfully, as through that was all that was involved in her exploration. "Now let's test out the padding of the grass" he teased, raising brows at her and slinking closer, to zee if she would allow any distractions from her exploring.

Sirius slowed thankfully, and Zee let out a small chuckle at his dull response. "There's more to it you know!" She insisted, lifting a paw to jab it in his direction accusingly. "And now you've made me lose track of my stars." With her head craning back towards the sky she re-identified the first bear, following it's chest until she found the baby bear constellation. The clouds were coming in, and Zee gritted her teeth anxiously as she looked up at them. If they covered the north star, how the hell would she find her way home? Luckily the bright star was easily identifiable beside the baby bear, and Zee interrupted her husband to point east back towards the mainland. "That way is east, please don't forget. I don't trust myself." When her head lowered to meet his gaze again, the titan was creeping towards her.
"Sirius! No!" She skittered backwards, paw stepping into a mushy fruit during her escape attempt. There wasn't many places to hide, the palm trees didn't have low enough hanging branches for her to leap to and there were few rocks and caves on the silver sand shore. "Do it, and you get no more swimming lessons!"
