Indigo followed beside Azure as his bear paws brother led the way to the pond which mirrored the color of his coat. The young puppy was more than curious and excited to take in the sight. The prospect of their trip was more than enough to tamp down thoughts of his scary morning. He didn’t hold onto the guilt of causing Azure pain and he wouldn’t worry about the potential to happen again in the future. He focused on the moment and the excitement of seeing the shrine.

The scenery was long changed, the trees around them covered in spooky white bark. The atmosphere changed, and unconsciously Indy slowed his pace and quieted himself. This would be such a great place for a garden. Once he started learning about meditation the shrine would become quite the attraction for the young boy.

”Are we close, Azure?” He asked, dark ears perked as he waited to hear the sound of water. All he heard now was unnatural quiet.

Azure was just glad that there were no hard feelings after their fight. His shoulders still stung slightly, but beyond that he'd mostly been able to forget that the pair had tussled at all. Now as they walked to the Shrine they were like they were before it, friendly and happy and bonded just like brothers should be. Azure told himself to never ever surprise attack someone he loved again, just in case.

"Almost there!" He confirmed Indigo's question, looking up over the land towards the distant glow. The trees here still spooked him, the way they seemed almost drained of energy and color. Banshee's comment on ghosts that haunted evil wolves scared him to his core, and he tried to remind himself that he was safe here in Deathbelle's empire.

After a bit longer the boys arrived, and Azure happily hopped up to the shrine and placed his bear paws upon the stones that bordered the pool. "Look, see!" He said excitedly, gesturing to the water with his nose. Swimming within the pond were dozens of fish, each more tantalizing then the next. The way they brushed up against the pool and facilitated the odd glow compelled him, and he leaned in as if he could beckon them out of the water and into his jaws.

Indy wanted to spar with Azure again, despite falling into the blind rage after the fact he realized how much fun they could have. As long as he was ready for him next time, and he’d remember to keep his claws sheathed. Indigo didn’t want to hurt his brother, but even if he didn’t realize it Azure wasn’t likely to repeat the experience.

His brother answered that the pair of them were almost to their destination, and the young violet boy could already smell the strange water. He trotted excitedly beside his brother, bright blue eyes looking up at the pale trees that hid the shrine. Eagerly the two of them appeared at the lilac tinted waters. ”Oh, wow!” He uttered softly as his big paws were placed on the lip and the boy peered down into the spring.

He wasn’t sure he believed his brother before but now he couldn’t argue with his eyes. Much like the violet colored boy the water was tinted the cool hue. Indigo’s grin couldn’t be wiped from his face, he was amazed. ”Azure! Look! I’m the same color!” Even though he knew his brother could see just as well as he could the boy was absolutely amazed.

Azure grinned over at his brother's excited response, and then back at the pond. The fish that swam within it were as mysterious to him as the odd way the water glowed, and he couldn't help but wonder if the fish would glow too if he managed to retrieve one. "I know! It looks just like you! Only you're a bit more unique." He gave a hushed giggle at his own comment, and then put on a thinking face as he wondered how he might be able to catch a fish.

Like the last time when he was with Asla, Azure lay down flat on his belly upon the rocks. It felt safer somehow, like he was less likely to accidentally fall in. Then he inched himself forward, reaching out a paw towards the water's surface. When he'd been here with his sister he was smaller, and the litter was growing rapidly. This time, Azure could do more then break the surface of the pond. As his paw came nearer to them, the fish scattered away deeper beyond his reach and he frowned. "I want one." He admitted aloud, glaring down at the stupid things.

Indigo was having a blast with his brother, their tustle that morning nearly completely forgotten as the two of them explored. Az didn’t hesitate to offer a sweet compliment either and Indy grinned wide. He was more unique than than the water wasn’t he? Indy lifted his head proudly at the words as he looked over at his brother and his change in position as he lay his belly on the stones. Bright sapphire eyes were drawn to the surface of the water as Az put a paw to the liquid and pointed out the fish beneath. They were very interesting, but Indigo’s attention was quickly returned to the trees around them.

Indigo was far from a hunter, he was too uncoordinated for that. He was only just passable as a fighter, mostly because he didn’t have to kill anything. ”You won’t do it that way.” He told him obviously, like Az wouldn’t realize. Indigo trotted over to the other side of the purple hued water. He didn’t want to leave his brother hanging though, ”What if I scared them too you from over here?” He asked, wondering if their ambush might work.

Indigo's idea was a good one, and though scaring the fish might not work if they were looking into a fast-moving river, the Shrine was small enough that they had much less room to roam. If he scared them from his side, logically they'd come to Azure's side and he could try and snatch one up. His tail wagged slowly, and he looked over the rocks towards his brother.

"'kay!" He agreed, eyes flicking off his face back to stare intently at the water's surface. "I'm ready." He spread his paws and prepared himself, ready to scoop up whatever fish might come near him. Az was very determined not to miss, he knew his brother wasn't as into hunting as he was and didn't want to make him spend hours trying to get a silly fish.

Indy had no idea if his idea was going to work or not, he wasn’t much of a hunter and veen less of a fisher. However, he wanted very much to be able to help his brother with his desire to have one of the fish. Azure didn’t offer up any protest to his idea and his brother got ready. If any of them would be able to swipe a fish out of the water it was Azure and his bear paws. When he said he was ready Indigo didn’t hesitate.

With a lot of movement and then a small splash so he didn’t disturb the surface too much Indigo aimed to scare the whole school of fish towards his brother. He had no idea if they would taste good, or if they might be just as purple as the water. Time would tell, if they managed to get one. Indy looked back up to his brother, attention fixed with a lopsided grin and his tail wagging expectantly.

Indigo's paws came down upon the water and the fish scattered beneath his tiny paws. Azure tried his best to pick one and keep his gaze upon it, to not be distracted by the dozens that shared it's school. When it came close enough, he lowered both paws in quickly and somehow miraculously when he withdrew them, a fish wriggled between them. "Look, I did it!" He cried in joy, displaying the floppy fish for his brother to see. It was becoming hard to hold, and so he shifted his weight so he could dump it to the ground. It continued it's flailing, though much less effectively. The movement wouldn't stop and it made it difficult to get a good look at the fish to see if it glowed or not, so he stamped his paw down upon its head hard until it stopped squirming. "We did it!" He amended, beaming at his brother.

Indigo was mostly an optimist but he wasn’t sure that Azure would manage to catch one of the slippery fish. Quicker than he could blink his brother managed to remove one from the glowing waters. Indy’s jaw dropped as his grin grew wide and be felt pride swell for his brother. The Fatalis boy trotted back to the other side of the shrine, his tail wagging and sapphire blue eyes trained on the now dead fish as Azure lumped him in with his success.

”You did most, Az!” He offered humbly, falling into his aversion to the spotlight. Even if it was only the two of the celebrating. Indigo hadn’t done much, he certainly wasn’t good enough to catch a fish. He bumped his shoulder against his sibling. ”So, does it glow?” That was the real question.

Azure was so incredibly pleased with his accomplishment, staring down at the fish with a wide grin. It did look a little glowy, but he wanted to be sure so he lifted a paw to wipe at it's scales. It felt weird on his pawpads, and when he removed his paw the glowing seemed to not be there anymore. He turned his paw towards himself and looked, fascinated, before showing it to Indigo. "I think it's the water, look! My paw is kind of goopy and it glows a bit." The algae on his paw was dimming quickly however, and Azure sadly realized he wouldn't be able to harvest the glow and wear it permanently. He continued looking at it for a beat, before finally replacing his paw upon the ground and looking back to his brother. "So what do you wanna do now?" The boy asked, laying beside his fish to try and practice his skinning. It was hard to do since he didn't have claws as thin as his siblings, and his tongue stuck out as he concentrated on the task.
