Cautious, this was the first time he had approached a pack land with the intention of purposely drawing the attention of those in it. He stood just before the border taking a good whif of the scent. At least with Domari he hadn't been in direct contact with Valhalla itself - but here he was right where his paws could completely disrespect pack lands. This thought terrified him, he never thought he'd be on the other end of a border he was always on the defending side. Regardless he was here to look for his brother and sister. If they had no information on it he would have to decide what to do after.

"Hello?" he called, giving a soft howl in the hopes of summoning someone nearby. Her certainly hoped he wasn't disturbing any of the pack members inside. Regardless of what Domari said he was worried of trying to be recruited or claimed. Whatever, if in the end he can pass on the news of Hanmel and Neracu then Eraithus could be a bit at ease. There were already multiple wolves looking out for them. If they really wanted to find him they would.

If Torin hadn't been patrolling he probably would have missed the timid call. Torin cocked his head to the side before trotting on quicker. He saw the blue male and felt his eyebrows raise for a moment before he reined in his expression. He was curious about the male, he didn't carry any pack scent, nor was his scent particularly familiar... Maybe he was looking to join? Gods knew Lirim could use new blood, but he wouldn't get his hopes up. The male looked more than a little uncomfortable, and Torin wondered what had put him on edge. "Greetings, I am Torin, Dux of Lirim, what can I do for you?" He spoke clearly, tail raised above his rump in a sign of dominance but without being too over domineering. Eraithus was greeted by a male that he could only assume was the alpha. That became true and the blue male could feel his heart pounding against his chest. He calmed himself, taking a deep breath as Torin introduced himself. He had to be able to trust Domari's word so this pack had to be at least decently friendly. "Eraithus Zanthus sir." he smiled towards the other. Despite his anxiety he was still civil to his core. "I hate to disturb you and your pack but you see I am on the search for my siblings." Eraithus began.

"We recently washed up on the shores of Boreas, a strange land to us to say the least. My brother's name is Neracu and my sister's name is Hanmel. Much like myself my brother is oddly marked and colored while my sister is smaller along with being black and white." hopefully he wasn't causing too much trouble. "I was told by a wolf of Valhalla that it would be safe to ask you if you'd seen them." he didn't know if this made it clear he really wasn't looking to join a pack right now. However Eraithus was a pack wolf naturally so it was a bit depressing to say the least. He just didn't seem to be a fit for most of them.

Torin watched carefully as the blue male spoke, giving him a slight nod as he introduced himself at Eraithus. Then he shook his head as the man apologized, it was his job to answer those who came seeking out his borders. Torin listened intently as Eraithus spoke, describing his siblings. He couldn't say he'd seen any blue wolves... at least not in a long time and who wasn't his own nephew... He considered the man's description of the his sister but couldn't remember anyone meeting that description either. Torin chuckles as the man mentioned Valhalla. "We are closely related to Valhalla, in more than a few ways." Torin spoke evenly. "I cannot say I've seen anyone meeting those descriptions. I will keep any eye out however..." He paused for a moment, considering. "Is there anywhere you're currently staying that I can direct them towards if I happen to spot them?" He was giving the man a bit of a pointed look. Eraithus was happy that the alpha would humor him. Of course his heart only sank deeper when he had said he hadn't seen them. Surely he had scented them when he washed up on shore. Did his siblings abandon him, or did they try to find their way back and didn't stop to check out these lands? He could only assume that perhaps they hadn't thought about it being a dominated wolf lands and left. Yet, he was reasonably lost now. While they were well into adulthood and he knew that he probably shouldn't be too inclined to rely on them. He was still greiving a bit in his heart. Yet Torin did say he would keep his eye out. "Thank you Sir." Eraithus would say and waited for the man to finish speaking.

When Torin asked if there was someone to contact him should he see them he opened his mouth for a moment and then closed it again. "I actually don't have a residence at the moment." his ears twitched. Nervousness covering him but he tried to conceal that. "To be honest I don't even know these lands well enough to make a home I fear. I was really hoping I would've found my brother and sister by now and now I'm lost." he sighed. "I'm not looking to join a pack simply because my culture habits are so far fetched compared to many of the packs around here thus far." Eraithus tried to explain. No he had nowhere to go, but he didn't want to be stuck somewhere who didn't let him do what he wanted.

Torin watched the man carefully, considering the information he was met with. The man was almost too quick to explain why he wasn't interested in a pack. Torin bit back a chuckle. "It'd be a bit hard to send your siblings off if I find them without knowing where you are." He rumbled, not chastising but pointed. Torin chewed on his words for a moment. "I've lived here all my life and I'd not be so quick to write off packs, these lands has long had very diverse and often conflicting packs." He eyes the man again, wondering what exactly it was that led him to believe that he would conflict with any given pack. "For instance mine can offer a temporary refuge rank, one that would allow for easy removal from the pack when needed and more or less the full rights of a full member." He paused, his lips quirking slightly into a bit of a mischievous smile. "Though it's wholly voluntary." "Silent Treatment" & Deep thoughts

It only occured to the gentleman that he had been so quick to over explain when the alpha spoke his words. Eraithus felt embarassed his mouth opening for a moment when he pointed out that where exactly would he send his brother and sister if they were to come by here. Shutting his mouth his ears perked forward attentively listening to the man in front of him. His paws ached a bit and not because of walking, but because he hated the thought of throwing himself into a pack and that was why he had been so inclined to reject. Back at home there were no rivals packs the pack of the valley was a peaceful one it was only them and a large family at that. He was used to many... many wolves who followed a strict religious regimen at times. While Eraithus had not considered himself a part of that religious rights in the pack it was peaceful and friendly. Come to think of it... he hadn't really experienced conflict other than his underlying addiction to wolf's blood. A secret he just would not be able to let others know about should he keep his image.

"I've never heard of a pack offering a temporary rank if I'm honest. I do apologize for jumping to a conclusion. See during me and my siblings travels we were met with much disdain from travelers and packs when we spoke of our home pack. I myself don't take too well from taking orders back home we could do as we pleased but also there were no neighboring packs I suppose." Eraithus was mostly explaining this to himself. It helped to speak idea's out loud and let his mind run through the options. "My father had many mates, polygamy. I had two mothers and another father to raise me and I am the same way. I wish to wed more than one wolf within my lifetime at the same time and for this reason we were turned away from many safe havens I just assumed lands far from home were digusted by this behavior." his ears pulled back in a bit of embarassment. "But if I do say myself, I'm growing weary and being a loner in unknown lands is taxing." with no family nor friends to support him it was an odd path he was taking.

Torin couldn't help but feel a bit hopeful as the blue man spoke, Lirim could use new, enthusiastic, blood and he couldn't help but feel he was starting to win the man over. He listened carefully as Eraithus explained his reasoning. He had his own feelings about the parts of the man's lifestyle he wished to continue on but he kept his thoughts from his face. "While we do not have any specific rules in terms of your lifestyle. Lirim is not a free for all, we don't allow our members to run totally free but as long as you understand if you're going to pick fights you'll be expected to handle the fallout yourself. With a few exceptions if members act in ways that endanger the pack they will find Lirim won't be a safe haven for them." He gave the man a pointed look for a moment before allowing a small smile. "That said we also seek to offer out members, even temporary ones, freedom to pursue their interests and reasonable whims as they see fit. Anyone who pulls their weight will be more or less left alone." He was doing his best to assuage the man's worries. "And ultimately a place to rest your paws at the end of the day." He quirked a brow, his expression more of a question of if the man would accept his offer than simple explanation. "Silent Treatment" & Deep thoughts

For a moment he wayed his options. Did he really want to be stuck in a pack for the time being? What happened should his addiction to wolf's blood be discovered. It was easy to hide in his home pack but here it wasn't as if strangers would come around so quickly unlike the years he had spent with family. He could pull his own weight sure, but at what cost. To be asked to help and lay down his life for others? A temporary rank still left him as far as he was concerned at a disadvantage in his life. Eraithus was reserved for the most part, but willing to help others where help was due. What was Torin offering him a place anyway? Why try so hard to convince him it was fine if he stayed.

Eraithus then gave a heavy sigh, "I'll accept the offer, my paws are tired from travelling and I still have much to learn of this land." he looked to Torin. "But it is temporary once I get a better lay of the land I will be leaving. I'll help where you need it, I'm a fighter by heart." if that at least meant anything. He wanted to make it clear that this was temporary. He wasn't sure yet if he'd fit under Torin's rule or even get along with his members. Yet he knew pack life suited him better than loner life.

Torin felt he was losing the blue male but he kept his face the same, he would accept whatever decision the stranger took, they were after all total strangers. Still he couldn't help but feel some relief when the man finally nodded, even though she could tell it was reluctant. "Fair enough." He said, his tone amicable but not overly happy, he wouldn't press more than he'd gotten. "I bestow upon you the rank of Profugus, a designated temporary rank until such time that you feel it's time to leave." or accept a full rank. Though he'd not say that for fear of chasing off the male. "You will be afforded free passage in and out of the parklands, and access to our resources so long as you help to contribute." Then Torin stepped back, turning so as to open up the space that was once behind him, and dipped his head, inviting the man to cross the borders if he so chose. "Silent Treatment" & Deep thoughts

When Torin stepped aside for him to enter the territory his immidiate thought was to turn and walk in the other direction. He'd grown too used to being turned away and part of him thought that he needed to change that. Eraithus with a few shaky steps would walk into the pack lands next to Torin. Suddenly taking in a deep breath it felt nice to be on owned lands again lands that he possibly would be a part of. "Thank you Torin." despite what he considered being a bit rude he was still thankful normally he was such a gentleman Eraithus liked to keep up that front. "Is there anything you'd like me to do to start?" of course he could get a feel for the pack lands but if there were duties to be done he preferred to do them first and then rest. He couldn't help but to feel that this was only the beginning of a new life.
