The first raid was finally over and done with. While Winterfell didn't win, that was fine. He was internally glad that they hadn't, because it was now one less stress for the northern alpha. Whether or not they remained allies was not his concern anymore, either. He doubted Theory would be happy no matter the outcome, and truth be told...Abaven hadn't helped them with anything beyond taking him and his niece and nephew in under Shaye's leadership. Even then, he felt his debt to Shaye and Rhyme had been paid for all the help he'd given during his time there. He owed them nothing. Expected nothing. Which meant his business with them was done. He would pay them one last visit just to see where Theory wanted to stand between them, but he wouldn't keep any hopes up about them continuing an alliance. She was young, though gaining experience pretty quick. Even so, she was still naive and not as level-headed as Shaye had been. He had to admit...he did miss his friend. Despite the rift that had been created between them, he had wanted to mend it but...she was gone too soon. He supposed there wasn't much to do for her anymore...even though she had asked him to be her kids' god-parent, he doubted they would want anything to do with him. They had all of Abaven, after all. He only wished he could speak to Shaye one last time and fulfill her wishes...

Turning away from his den, the alabaster male took to walking in the snow around the ship. He could sense a blizzard coming soon...likely sometime during the night, but he wasn't completely sure. Winter had finally struck, the temperatures already dropping more than he would like, but alas, there was nothing he could do except fortify the dens to keep them warm should the winter turn harsh. He'd need to track down some of the members too and get them to work as well...the lacking presence of some of them, his own kids included, disturbed him.

Yurei was on her den taking care of her herb stock, keeping the den clean and doing anything else in order to have everything ready now that Winter had come,a time of the year when everything was less forgiving. The coldness was thick and even though she was born to endure the harsh temperatures it didn't mean she was immune to its effects. She still could feel her paws cold and her nose could get all of its strength. Luckily she placed some insulating materials to keep the warmth somehow.

The raid had affected her in a way as she felt guilty of taking part of something that wasnt as friendly as she thought it could be. They were invading someone's home, and potentially harming innocents. She felt a bit better as she was there to heal the wounded, to help those who needed it but she still allowed it, but as shy and obedient she was, she would do her alpha's will. He gave her a home, and a chance to be something better, he took her in without prejudice. The last thing she could do was supporting him and being there for him.

As she finished she wished to take a walk out there, to either clean up her thoughts or just to check. And thus she walked out with ears pinned as always, and her shy posture was in place as it has been her whole life. And as she walked at the distance she spotted Acere. Calmly she approached. "Mr.Acere...how are you?..." She asked shyly as she attempted to reach his side.

It was needless to say the winter king was lost in thought. He didn't hear or sense Yurei's approach until he heard her greet him and he turned to find her approaching him. He stopped moving and allowed her to catch up. "I am fine, thank you for asking. It's good to see you Yurei, how have you been?" He knew it was a broad question, though his tone was friendly and not at all angry or annoyed. He truly wondered how she was doing. Since he'd been so caught up in the plans for the raids, he felt like he hadn't been keeping up much with the welfare of Winterfell's members. Yurei, he knew, wasn't the confident type. And while he hadn't been to see the healers after or during the raid, he wondered how she did there. He figured he'd ask Drifa what she thought later, but for now he would focus on the alabaster she-wolf while she was in his company. "Would you care to go for a walk with me?" He asked gently, feeling like he needed to keep moving to keep his mind from wandering too much.

"I am fine, thank you for asking. It's good to see you Yurei, how have you been?" She felt weird as she wasnt really used to start conversations this being her first. She hoped she wasnt going to say or do anything that could make her seen as a complete stupid. She didn't want to look ridiculous before her alpha. "I..am okay..healing," Healing from the deep depression she went through the past season. She felt bad for allowing herself to fall in such a stage, the good thing was that she didn't told no one,she went anonymously through it. "I...congrats on the raid...even if we didnt win we didn't do that badly.." She added unsure if that was the right thing to be said.

"Would you care to go for a walk with me?" She nodded in silence as she followed the male. "Sure.." She said before falling in silence as she tried to walk behind him,not feeling it okay to walk beside him,she never was at the same level as others and even less to Acere or anyone else, she was always lower in her own opinions.

"I..am okay..healing," He looked at her from the corner of his eye, nodding quietly at her response. While he wasn't completely involved in her personal life, he knew about some of the issues she was dealing with from when she joined. And even though she had been with them a while now, he knew those feelings hadn't completely gone away, if at all. He didn't blame her though. He had a feeling she had been hurt by Heloise's abandonment same as he had been. And honestly, he felt bad he hadn't been there to really help her through it...but at the same time, he'd been dealing with it alone, too. He'd been trying to raise his kids the best he could but he never would truly know the hurt that Heloise's abandonment had, or would cause.

"I...congrats on the raid...even if we didnt win we didn't do that badly.." He chuckled a bit at her words, "No, we didn't do too bad. I'm...kind of glad we didn't win. I like to think that perhaps us losing might be a boost to Abaven's morale." Sure, Theory probably hated him, and he knew his relationship with the eastern pack likely wouldn't be the same anymore, but at least they could say they succeeded in defending their lands. When the pair began to walk, he was aware that she tried to walk behind him. He didn't make it obvious that he was aware of that, and instead, he deliberately slowed down his own pace until they were practically shoulder to shoulder. With a bit of space between them, of course. "If you don't mind me asking, Yurei. How are you faring in the pack?" He was aware of some of the struggles she endured...but he wasn't sure just how much she was dealing with. He didn't want to outright tell her to tell him. Didn't want to make her feel like she had no choice. He wanted to be there for her, but wasn't sure how to go about doing that without making her feel pressured...
