To find out the truth
Sirius
The conversation she had with Elizabeth was rattling around in her head. Having left Auster and giving her goodbyes to the short peace she had... something bothered her. This could very well make her an enemy of her siblings. Should Tara or Mark end up somewhere else.... well Kaizer knew she had always been a bit different from all of them. She hadn't spoken to Tara since they ended up here even if she was concerned for her meek sister. Kaizer was a warrior! But she was not one to jump into anything without getting to know it. A pack of warriors wasn't really enough to get her sold. Liz was right.... and it was strange to come to an understanding with each other. She was a fighter Kaizer found survival difficult as a loner. Her mind wasn't engaged her skills were not being polished. Would this Sirius fellow claim her as a slave though? Would she find herself in a situation where she had no one to call for help. Kaizer stood on the border with her ears flicking. What would her mother say? Her father who she took more after. Kaizer was selfish but she had a digging sinking feeling that could only be ended by talking to this huge wolf. Perhaps it was time to consider finding a new family anyway. Liz and her siblings, their family, had valued their survival and gut instincts over right and wrong in the end. Even Liz knew that, they all knew that when their mother had died and when they lied to Roza about how she had died. War. It never changed and while she knew as far as it was Boreas was in an era of peace. The land was fertile and she felt like she could easily become complacent if things didn't change.
She raised her head in a howl - a call for the warlord. Liz's words hung in her head, "Even if we were to end up fighting each other. I'd expect you to give it your best Kaizer, you are not weak and if this is what's best for you then you should chase it. I'm sure Mark and Tara would agree." as Kaizer lowered her head there was a strange solemn feeling in her heart. Not because she felt like she was doing something wrong. It was Guilt that she actually agreed. She would rather be happy.... then chasing around her family name. |

As he approached, he would catch a familiar scent to the wolf. He recognised it from the brief meeting with a Vahlalla healer. He frowned thoughtfully, the matter one he was still undecided in. He did not like wolves of shared allegiance. Would this wolf change his mind?
“Kaizer, I assume?” he said, coming to a stop on his side of the border. His eyes looked over the smaller wolf, her dark coat, and green eyes. Would she give him a reason to let her stay?
"Speech!"
When Sirius first approached, Kaizer thought it was a joke. This male was massive! She'd never seen a wolf so large in her two years of living. Taken back a bit she blinked trying to make sure that what she was seeing was the truth. THIS was the wolf that Liz had run into? How was she not afraid he would eat her alive? Then again their family had never been one to truely fear such things and as such she gave a bow to him lowering her head. He was an alpha after all and you treated them with respect, after all he could potentially be the one to put her wants at ease. Her legs ached and she needed something to apply herself to. Thoughts of family soon faded from her head it was time they seperated and made their own paths.
"You must be Sirius Sir." she gave a quick nod of her head to let him know he was correct. "My sister told me you said your pack was made of warriors but I wanted to come to ask for myself. I'm not one to blindly jump into something without knowing what it is." Kaizer tilted her tail to the side. "I must say though are there more wolves of your size? You are massive!" she chuckled in a bit of good nature. "Even the strongest wolves back in my homeland were not of this size." she hoped that he didn't take it as an insult but her laid back nature made it this way. She didn't care too much about anything else other than getting the fights that she wanted and being taught the skills that would make her the best fighter she could be. |

“We are warriors first, though there were healers and hunters in our ranks, our majority are fighters. In the Armada, you will be given to a mentor, and testing in your ability to fight. If that is the path you want, I will consider it. but Joining the Armada comes at a cost. I know you have family in another pack. Can you forsake then, release yourself from bindings of blood, and find family in the Armada?” that was the most important question of the day. After that, the matter of her fortitude and strength. “As for my size… three of my children are growing to equal it” but no, there were not many that reached the Dire’s height.
"Speech!"
Kaizer listened to him intentievly all while looking him over studying him in a manner of speaking. He was a strong and fit male and that much was enough to convince her he was a strong alpha. It sorely reminded her of her father and for a moment that stung her heart. Her pupils dialated when he spoke. A mentor! Fighting. Her blood rushed through her body with her heart pounding against her chest. Adrenaline was it? Excitement flourished through her and when he asked of her family her response was a solid one for her conviction. "I know words cannot express more than actions but I already spoke with my sister and we both agreed. We have grown we are now adults and both of our parents are dead. I believe in feilty to a pack not a family name that I nearly know nothing about." she took a deep breath this was the decision she had made. "I would tear anyone down who stood in my path for my pleasure and this is the truth. I want to become a warrior who can be dispatched on front lines in times of war. And if that's what your pack can offer to me with training then that's what I want." her selfish nature would make that clear.
Kaizer would not comment on his children. She didn't want to impose further when she was already speaking her piece. However, with her heart still pounding against her chest she was ready. She wanted to run and spar again with those who shared those ideals. While she wasn't sure if they embraced war she yearned for it. Perhaps she could finally make friends again who weren't so weak minded. She wanted to be strong it was the only thing she desired because at least if she knew she was strong she would last another day. Sure this wasn't like the wastelands but that was in her being. |

He took a step back, giving her an invitation with his body language as well as his words, to step into Armada territory.
"Speech!"
Kaizer tried to keep her excitement down. It felt like an honor that she was finally going to be accepted into a pack. She wanted to eagerly meet her mentor and get into it, there was no time to adjust. However, she knew that there was a time and a place for everything. Something about being accepted by Sirius filled her with a new life. She had broken her ties and come to peace. She had mourned her father and now it was time to make sure that he made him proud by doing what she loved.
"Thank you Sirius, you will not regret this." and she knew that was true. She took betrayal seriously and if she were to devote her time to the pack then she meant it. As she stepped inside she took in a deep breath of the pack scent that would soon cover her entire body. There was the scents of many wolves mingled with this and she wanted to meet them all. |

The entry to the cellar that houses the packs stores of meat and skins was in sight, the doors closed to keep the meat cool. Empty and taken dens littered the area around the communal space. Pre-dug for newcomers to take their pick. “You can pick a den that’s to your liking, or dig out one yourself” he suggested.
When she was led to the communal area of the pack she was amazed. Never had she seen such a thing tended to by wolves. For a moment she felt dumb, felt like a lesser wolf because none of this had at first made any sense to her. The fire in the middle how did they start that and kept it fed? Back in the wasteland they seemed primitive and when Sirius showed her the dens her tail could not help but to wag a little. She almost wanted to be in tears but she would not... she had a home again and something to fight for how could she ever repay this man?
She found herself drawn to a den closer to the warmth of the middle. Wherever that was, finding herself inspecting the empty den that she could potentionally line with any furs and other personal belongings. Kaizer curled in it for a moment, looking to Sirius as she did as she smiled for the first time in forever it seemed genuine. |

Opening the door, he climbed down into the cool pit below, and grabbed a portion of dried meat, and a soft panther coat he had stored here. Pulling both from the cellar and closing the door with a back leg, he returned to Kaizer. He laid the coat on her den floor, and set the rations before her. “Get settled in, tomorrow i’ll test your fighting abilities”
