Indigo was alight and sharp, but as battle erupted around him his attention was able to focus less and less. Azure’s opponent went staggering, Sirius took care of his twin, but Dankan was forced to retreat on their side. Indy didn’t stand still, he paced near where Asla was his attention diverging every which way when the older wolf attacked. The young man was big, but nearing his full height Indigo looked bigger especially with the height of his mohawk. All of his wonder and the romanticized moment fell away as Indigo saw and processed the crazed look in the other man’s eye.

Everything else went black as he found himself in a trance like state, Indigo saw red over Zagan’s frame and the pup would bellow deeply from the pit of his chest as he rose up and pivoted to meet the crazed warrior. He didn’t miss that the attack came from behind, and while Aerie could think them cowards the truth was in the actions of its members. He may have been previously distracted, but once he fell into the swing of battle Indigo was a formidable force.

Indigo didn’t move as fast as he should have, and Zagan rammed into the thick of his hip. Iroh did move fast enough that he was perpendicular before Zagan could land a solid bite to his tail or trip up his thick legs. In retaliation the boy aimed to continue his pivot as he opened his great jaws. Indigo aimed to scrape his long fangs over Zagan’s skull before notching the ear between his teeth.

Her teeth snapped onto thin air as she made a quick retreat to avoid the heavy metal pot that he sent swinging toward her. In her haste to turn her head to avoid the attack, her shoulder ended up more in the path of his swing, the edge of his teapot clipping her shoulder enough to pull a sharp breath through her teeth as a jolt of pain went through her. She skittered back several steps so she could face him again. She rolled her shoulder and confirmed that nothing felt broken, just very sore and most certainly bruised. That thing was no joke and it put her at a loss of where to attack him from. Anything that might be within swinging range of his weapon felt like it would be out of the question if she wanted to avoid getting hit with that thing. She also knew she had to think of something - and fast at that - or he was going to have time to make his own advance toward her. Tamsyn made a silent acceptance with herself with the understanding that raids sometimes came with injuries so she couldn't avoid them all. The smaller woman moved fast and ran full tilt toward the man ahead of her with a snarl and a deep growl in her chest. She kept herself facing him head on as she reared up on her back legs, keeping them spread apart enough to give her a more stable stance and gripped the ground with her claws. She reached with one metal bracer covered foreleg in an attempt to wrap her left leg around the teapot he was holding in an effort to either keep him from swinging it as violently or perhaps force him to drop it. She also dove toward his muzzle with open jaws, hoping again to either hinder his movements or perhaps force him to back off and abandon his weapon. Meanwhile, the paw of her right foreleg attempted to swing at the side of his face just to make sure no possible attack at her disposal went unattempted. Zee could not get the faces of the sad betrayed puppies out of her mind, and when leaped for her face she backpedaled rather then trying to retaliate with a bite. Had they been grown dogs it would have been different, but no part of the small alpha could possibly convince herself to attack a puppy. Agility was her strong suit and thankfully her sudden stop did not throw her too hard off balance. The pup missed her face by a hair and the viper at the base of her horns moved to strike as it flew by. Zee growled low in her throat and yanked her head sharply away so the snake would miss it's bite, her maternal instinct too strong to ignore. Struggling to regain her lost focus, she was unable to dodge the much larger alpha's charge. She felt the tear in her flesh under her arm and realized what he was trying to do. If he was to topple her that very well might be the end of the fight for her. Panicked, she leaned into the helmet's razor-like ridge and aimed to grasp her jaws upon the base of the man's right ear to control his head. In doing so she'd deepened the already severe cut, but would have a chance to remain upright should she be able to get a solid enough hold. The larger wolf had shifted his position, though it didn't quite seem like his attention was fully on her until she collided with his chest. He roared in her ears, though the woman had them pinned and had no idea if he was screaming at her or someone else. She spared a brief glance to where he was looking and noticed that Zagan seemed to be going all in against this man's child. Unfortunately, she didn't have any sympathy for it. They were the ones that came to invade. And he chose to bring his child here. What did they expect? To the Armada, perhaps it was considered practice. But not for Aerie. They were just trying to defend their territory against these unwelcome invaders and she didn't care one way or another if Zagan got away with ripping off the tails or body parts of anyone who dared invade Aerie. While she personally didn't maim that way, she didn't have control over what others decided to do. As her bite was in motion to land on his leg, Sirius moved out of the way, and through narrowed eyes she saw it coming towards her face. She ducked her head away, though she doubted she'd be able to completely escape those claws. At least...she thought. Before she knew it, her companion had come screeching in, launching herself at Sirius' raised paw as she aimed to latch onto his foot with her teeth while also seeking to rake any part of him that she could reach with her claws. That gave Ina the opportunity to slip towards Sirius' opposite side, the woman aiming then to land a nasty bite on the elbow of his other foreleg in the hopes she could drag it backwards with her (attempting to drag it back towards his tail since she sought to get up side by side with him) while her companion had his other foreleg busy. The big brute had noticed him, though truth be told had Zagan known he was just a little kid in age he wouldn't have even bothered trying to fight him. But of course, Zagan didn't know that because the boy was pretty big in his eyes (with that mohawk of his especially) and he assumed he was at least a yearling if not closer to his own age. The dark Abraxas managed to connect with his opponents hip though his bite and attempt to trip would miss the target. Snarling with blind anger, he rushed the brute just as the purple boy came at him, and though Zagan pinned his ears and ducked his head, Indigo managed to catch his ear still. A small price perhaps for what Zagan intended to do next.

He snarled as he felt a bit of warmth from his own blood dripping down but his ducking down had at least saved his ear from getting completely shredded. Using his momentum, he sought to get as close to the ground as possible before suddenly springing up with jaws splayed open, aiming to catch Indigo's throat in his teeth and choke the boy out.

Thalia reacted more quickly than even she had anticipated, and it was no surprise the feline did the same as she moved to strike. Maybe she hadn't thought through her choice of opponents as carefully as she should've, but it was too late for that now. Sitting by idly wouldn't do them any good, and she was indecisive enough as it was when she really got thinking. Simply reacting on instinct and embracing the fight ahead of her was a far better option.

The cat moved swiftly, leaping to the side and avoiding the hard blow from her head. Maybe that was a good thing for her - it likely would've at least temporarily knocked the wind out of her lungs. She reacted as the cat did, trying to recoil away from her claws as they came for her face. Though trying to dodge the attack likely saved her some pain, she didn't evade the attack completely - a sharp sting suddenly blossomed down the right side of her face, white-rock and only helping further ignite the dull rage boiling inside her chest. Instantly she felt blood begin to trickle down her fur, but she knew she didn't have time to stop and assess the damage. Instead she lunged forward, against her claws, trying to aim parted jaws for one of her ears. Perhaps it wouldn't cripple her but maybe if she was lucky it'd be enough to temporarily cause her to fumble.

After the fact, no matter the winner, Indigo would make a few realizations. He needed much more experience before he’d be near as great as his father. The second was that blind rage was no way to fight. Those emotions surged through him along with adrenaline and harm to himself was completely forgotten. The taste of blood created a further frenzy as he embrace the trance of battle completely.

He missed his chance to tear Zagan’s ear from his head, but he reacted fast and as the older wolf aimed for his throat He opened his jaws wide, hoping to clash his much larger fangs with his opponent and turning him from his mark.

The canine didn't seem overly flustered by Natha's sharp claws. If anything it only seemed to make the wolf even more angry. Natha hissed. Keeping her defenses set as best she could she was surprised when the wolf lunged suddenly forward. Natha ducked sharply but wasn't able to avoid the wolf's attack completely. Fangs seized hold of her scruff. She yowled, claws lancing out as she tried to scratch the canine's face once more, seeking to drag her claws down each of the other woman's cheeks. She hoped to cause the wolf enough pain to force her to let go of Natha so she could continue the fight on even ground. She didn't want to be carried around like a hapless pup!

Skae, her bobcat, noticed this and charged in from the back, seeking to leap onto the wolf's back and distract her.

She had been over ambitious with her attack and she knew that. It had been a risk, but in this situation with a weapon she hadn't been sure how to respond to it had felt like the only option. It was that or be at a stand off with this man simply because she hadn't known how to respond. She was thrown to the ground and she was quick to scramble to her paws and stumble back away from the wolf she had been fighting. She had a slight limp from the hit she had taken to her shoulder and her side was sore from where it had hit the teapot in her attempt to knock it from his grasp. This was all she could do this day and disappointment hit her harder than any attack could have. She gave her opponent one last glance before turning and running back out the way they came to make her way back to the Armada's territory. -flees-

The girl had been watching from the sidelines for what felt like ages and dammit, she was tired of waiting. There were rules to fighting. She had to wait her turn. She didn't have to like it though. And so, at the first opportunity for an attack, Aslatiel took it.

Tamsyn had been defeated by the guy with the pretty pot. It was disgraceful, but all losses were, weren't they? As the 'General' of her father's forced limped off, Aslatiel made her attack. Using the distraction of his win against him, the small wolf rushed forward. Quick on her paws, the girl intended to rush beneath him, using her porcupine quilled armor to keep him from both backing up and moving forward. She aimed to sink her jaws into the brutes hind knee. She would then use her own weight to try and pull his leg beneath him and throw him off balance. Ashur circled as backup and Pip flitted overhead, squeaking battle information to the girl.

Iroh felt the surge of victory rush through his chest as blue and lavender eyes watched his opponent slink off in defeat. Unfortunately it seemed like many of his comrades were doing the same as her. Dark ears fell to his skull, but his attention was quickly brought back to the battle as Sarabi whooped a warning call and alerted him to the girl’s presence.

The young man towered over the fierce Armada pup, but she didn’t seem to care and neither would he. He wasn’t about to allow her beneath him, not with her get up, so the Abraxas lowered himself by bending his joints. Her jaws still went right for his ankle but she was to his left instead of his underside. Iroh kicked out his leg and aimed to swing his iron pot towards her for a damaging blow to her shoulders.

The mandrill alerted the potted man to her attack and Aslatiel snarled. Gods damned monkey! If this dumb brute wasn't playing fair, then neither would she. The girl called for Ashur and the snow leopard leaped into the fray. It was only fair, really. Their size difference allowed her a little bit of leeway with the 'rules' didn't it? The leopard rushed the darkly colored man, intent on ramming him hard in the ribs. Meanwhile, Aslatiel countered the swinging pot by thrusting her antlered helm towards it. She hoped to catch the handle of the pot with her antlers and possibly dislodge it from the mans grasp. The thick bone would protect her from the worst of the damage, though it would surely rattle her a bit. If he continued his swing, he would most likely be stuck in the face by the sharpened points of the helm. Not that it mattered to Aslatiel. She wanted blood to flow. If it rained upon the little berserker, she would be beyond delighted.

She reacted quickly to the heavy pot coming at her, though he was sure it would break off one of the antlers on her head. They collided with a clang as the leopard hit Iroh square in the ribs. Sarabi hadn’t seen that part of their opponent’s team. Iroh did drop his pot, but that didn’t matter. He was more than a one trick pony.

Iroh aimed to slam his huge body weight into her shoulder and knock her to the ground. He’d follow up with open jaws as he’d aim to grasp her muzzle and hold her against the dirt to claim his victory. He could tell she was young but he could also feel her ferocity.

Natha struck down her attacker, a chilling growl hissing from her throat. The moment victory was obtained she turned and sauntered back over toward Resin then went a step further and leapt up the nearest tree. She settled on the lowest branch to lick the wolf blood off her paws while she grumbled to herself. Logically, she was a Lieutenant and this was a raid and of course she was supposed to fight, but as a feline she was prone to bouts of moodiness and she did not feel like participating any more. She was done. The rest of Armada could handle this raid.

Natha settled down on her stomach, licking one of her paws before bringing it back to clean her ears then turning her attention to her scruff. She did as best as she could to clean up the blood but it was obvious she was going to need a little help with that location.
