It had been a couple of days since Aeil and Dragon had their memorable hunt. Although it was their very first one together, the dark female knew they would share more in the future. The time spent was definitely worth it, and in those three days, Aeil felt more comfortable with Dragon than any other male she had met in her life. Her relationship with Garth - her father - was a good one, but it didn't compare in the same light as her growing relationship with Dragon. They were past the point of friends, but not to the place that they could consider themselves mates. There was no official proposal, no talk of their future plans as being husband and wife...all Aeil could do was have wishful thinking. With those thoughts, she was content for the moment.
As much as Aeil enjoyed the alone time with Dragon, she was ready to go back home. If she hadn't mentioned that Dragon should come with her, then she would have felt downright foolish! Therefore, she was happy with the offer she had made to Dragon, happy that he had accepted, and happy that she didn't have to plan on sharing him with anyone but herself...the latter was again her wishful thinking.
With a nervous jolt of tummy butterflies, Aeil turned her head to look over her shoulder. She saw Dragon close behind her and lightly chided, "Come onnnn, slowpoke. You are taking for-ev-er!" Aeil tossed her head back to the sky and playfully groaned, sounding like an impatient teenager for the time being. She couldn't keep up the fa?ade and ended up giggling, bringing a relaxed and happy expression to her face. Flicking her tail mindlessly to the sides, she waited for him to meet up with her before she said, "Would you like me to do the honors?" She silently waited for his response, intending to howl once he gave her the 'Okay'.

Large paws followed in the footsteps of the smaller woman ahead of him. He laughed as he caught up to her, licking her shoulder after her playful complaints of his being slow. He loved the time they spent alone together, he learned a lot about her and she from him. Each passing minute he had fallen more and more in love, and he recalled when he had told her that their first night together. Though it was crazy, he knew it to be true. His heart told him so. And if there was one thing he learned in life, was to trust your heart.

She had fallen asleep when he whispered to her that night. He wondered if she heard him, and if not then he would not be disappointed. She had stayed by him anyhow, and he stayed with her. He walked alongside her then, his thoughts taking over him. He loved the fact that he could spend time with her, and wondered what would happen once in Seracia. Would another male come and try to take her away from him? He couldn't let that happen...Though she was not officially his, he couldn't bear the thought of her being with another. He didn't want to share her with another man, let alone stand back while someone else tried to take her away. He wanted to be hers and only hers, to kiss her good night every night when the stars would shine and he wanted her to be the first thing he saw each morning. The thoughts made him feel like he was walking on air...until Aeil pulled him out of his day dreaming.

He nodded to her, giving her the honors of calling forth whichever pack mate of hers was nearby. He felt a little nervous, joining a pack was a big step for him. But as long as she was by his side, he felt like he could conquer anything! He stood close to her, his tail brushing her flank to comfort himself as he waited.

She was wagging her tail even more as she felt his touch across her skin. To be this delighted over a bit of affection from the male she considered lucky to have was a blessing in disguise for the female. Aeil didn't mind one bit if he decided to be public about how he felt. It made her feel all the more lucky and blessed at the same time. She wasn't one to show off anyone or anything she owned or was lucky to get, but she would voice her happiness if someone asked. For those reasons, she felt more inclined to being close with Dragon as much as time would let her.
His anxiety was evident in how he spoke and looked at her, even though there was something else that danced in his gaze. Aeil had an inkling that it was love, but she didn't want to jump the gun without being prepared for a mat to fall on. You never knew if your next action would be your downfall or help you rise to another level in your life. Destiny and fate were fickle friends, Aeil knew. She thought of when her parents had broken up. Her beliefs in both had faded for a significant amount of time, slowly pieced back together by time and friends who helped her get over the milestones. It had taken awhile, but had happened just the same.
As she looked at the tall male in front of her, she swore that whatever problems the two would have would be worked out through communication and trust. She didn't want to have anything to hide from him, and vice versa. So, with that in mind, she seriously nodded and then tossed back her head. A lone, wanting howl escaped Aeil's lips as they formed the perfect 'O' shape. Her cry was melodious, beautiful, and sweet. After a few seconds, the howl faded and she let her head return to its normal level of height. Looking up at Dragon, she stood beside him and smiled, nudging his broad shoulder with her nose before turning her gaze to the borders. She hoped that any member high enough to welcome them would show up soon. Otherwise, she would call again without being hesitant.

She had just restocked her herbs when a call reached her ears, familiar yet at the same time she felt like she didn't really now the wolf it came from. With a sway of her tail the shewolf would pull away from her small den of herbs, backing out and giving a quick shake to dislodge a few leaves and some dirt. The leaves had already begun to change colors, ranging in various shades that she found beautiful. With a small satisfied nod of her head she was off, moving through the southern forest of the kingdom with ease, moving around a tree here and there, a bush every couple of feet. In a matter of minutes she would close the distance between her and the area the howl had come from, noticing two shapes standing at the borders. One of the wolves she knew was not a pack mate, but the other she knew was Aeil, a member she had not really gotten the chance to meet and becomes friends with. "Aeil." She would say her voice in a soft but friendly tone, dipping her head to the woman before turning to the man with a small friendly smile. "I am Loccian, Ambassador of Seracia, how may I help you two on this fine day?" Her grey gaze would move from the man and to Aeil, wondering who would speak first.

It appeared that her howl had fallen on the right set of ears. Aeil's excitement began to build when she saw the familiar figure of Loccian appear from the surrounding greenery. She kneaded her front paws in the ground with the same excitement, waiting patiently all the same as she watched the pretty femme get closer. When they were within the proper speaking distance, Aeil's smile widened and she politely nodded to the she-wolf in front of her.
"Loccian," she said, voice gentle, but holding the excitement she was trying hard to keep down. With a soft clearing of her throat, she looked over to Dragon with a tender eye before speaking again. "This is Dragon, Loccian. He is with me today because, well.." She slightly faltered, blinking a few times as she met Loccian's gaze. "He was hoping to join Seracia, so I brought him with me to see if that would be possible." She waited, wondering if Dragon would say anything in relation to her own words.

The large dual toned man waited patiently as Aeil made the call. As time ticked by, he found himself becoming more nervous with each passing second. He wondered who would answer the call of the woman beside him. They didn't have long to wait before a small figure appeared from the trees, a small fae with grey fur and matching eyes to go with it. He waited patiently as she spoke, then looked at Aeil with fondness in his eyes as she in turn replied to the Seracian Ambassador. He pulled his gaze away from Aeil to look at the smaller fae, he inclined his head to her in respect and returned to his full height. Though he kept it so it was in a non threatening manner.

"Good Morning, Loccian. I am Dragon, and it is true what Aeil says. I have come with her today to seek acceptance into Seracia. Though I am a stranger to you, I have spent some time with Aeil to learn about your great pack and so I have decided to give my services to Seracia and those within it." He dipped his head once more, somehow he had managed to keep the nervousness from entering his voice. He had spoken with clarity and respect, hoping that the one before them would see him true to his words and allow him to join the pack to be with Aeil.

Loccian would look to Aeil with a smile, watching her look to the male before turning her attention back on the Ambassador. She introduced the man as Dragon, which she would dip her head to, and explained that he was here hoping to join Seracia. A new potential member? That was wonderful, it was nice to see more people wanting to join the kingdom. Ears would swivel at the voice of the male, her gaze turning to him now and listening to what he had to say. He would confirm what Aeil told her, he had spent some time with the woman to learn about the kingdom and was looking to join, to give his services. "It is wonderful to hear you would like to join our Kingdom Dragon. Has Aeil explained how we run things here and what is expected?" She would ask curiously with a raise of her brow.

The muscular beast listened to the words of the woman who greeted them at the borders. Loccian had asked him if Aeil had explained to him about Seracia, its ways and what is expected of him. With a courteous nod, he responded. "Yes, Loccian. Indeed she has. And a great teacher and advisor she is if I might add. She has told me a lot about your pack, and that is why I wish to seek acceptance. Great and noble it would seem, and one of the fairest I might add. If you will allow it, I would like to become part of this great and noble pack and work my way up the ranks. I will not cause trouble, though despite my appearance I assure you I am nowhere near the troublemaker...Aeil can attest to that."

His speech was done. And at the end of his last sentence, he would turn to gaze at the lovely Aeil with warmth. The look in his eyes becoming obvious, though he began to no longer care who saw it. Though he hadn't confessed to her yet, he hoped that it wasn't too noticeable.

She would listen to the man as he spoke. He seemed like quite the gentleman, the words he used and how he put them together in a sentence. It wasn't often that you heard that, very rare in wolves now a days. He informed Loccian that Aeil had told him about the kingdom, how it ran and what was to be expected from its members. He said that she was a great teacher and advisor, making the shewolf smile. It was good to see that the wolves of Seracia were showing themselves to others in a positive way, attracting the attention of a rogue and bringing them to the border of their pack to join.

He would not stop though, going on about how sh told him a lot about the kingdom and that was why he was seeking acceptance. He would like to become a part of their great and noble pack, work his way up in the ranks, wouldn't cause trouble, no where near a trouble maker, Aeil could prove that.

With a smile the woman would finally give a nod of her head, clearing her throat beifly. "It is nice to see a man well informed of our kingdom, especially when its from a wonderful woman like Aeil." She would glance at the woman before turning back to the man. "I feel that what you say is the truth, and so I shall believe you know of our laws." She would pause, staring at the man for a few moments in silence. "Welcome to Seracia Sir Dragon, you shall start your life here as a clergy. As you work and show your loyalty you will rise in ranks." With a dip of her head he was now apart of the kingdom.

The large males tail would wag feverishly with the news. Loccian's words had made him a very happy and determined man. He was hardly able to contain his excitement, but contain it he did. With a nervous and excited dip of his head, he thanked the woman. "I thank you, Loccian. I cannot wait to learn everything there is to know, and I assure you I will not fail Seracia!" He vowed with utmost determination. He turned to Aeil, playfully nuzzling her neck with affection, not caring who saw. All he knew, was that he was happy to finally belong somewhere. And possibly...with someone.

She watched Dragon and Loccian as they did their Q&A. Apparently, the information Aeil had given Dragon during their conversations stuck in his mind as he was drilled about their beliefs. Her tail slowly wagged behind her as she heard Loccian welcome Dragon into the pack. Her opinion was voiced as she dipped her maw to her Ambassador and said, "Ambassador Loccian, you have made a wonderful choice. I will intend to help show him the ropes until he can be balanced on his own."
His nuzzle was unexpected, but greeted with a cheerful yip and a returned lick. Her eyes sparkled with a bright gleam in the sapphire blue pools with the open emotions she bore on her sleeves. Aeil tenderly displayed her need of affection by nuzzling the spot beneath his jawbone, the only spot she could reach from her height. Leaning into him, Aeil looked up at him with a tender gaze before she looked at Loccian while resting her head against his neck. "I cannot wait to see how your decision will help benefit our pack. He is something special."

She would smile at the man as he thanked her, expressing how he couldn't wait to learn everything there was to know, that he wouldn't fail Seracia. That was good, a nice thing to see in a wolf. A brow would raise a bit when he began nuzzling in a way that told Loccian they were possibly closer than she thought, she would just give a wave of her tail though, not one to question what others did in their own time. Her attention went to Aeil though when she spoke, telling the woman that she made a wonderful choice, and would show the man the ropes till he could be on his own, then would speak more so to the man.

The moment growing awkward with their affection the Ambassador would dip her head to both of them before turning and walking off.

Aeil watched Loccian politely nod and turn to depart from the mini meeting. Her tail lightly flicked behind her, touching Dragon's as she waited until the Ambassador was out of sight. Looking up at her close companion, she smiled endearingly and said, "Come, my dear Dragon. Let me be the one to show you the great lands I have grown to love." Poetic words if she had ever heard any. With a tiny bit of regret, she peeled herself away from his form to get a head start on patrolling the borders.
The gray wolf looked over her shoulder, eagerly waiting for Dragon to follow. Her heart skipped a beat or two and her smile became brighter as he caught up with her. She playfully nipped at his neck before trotting in the direction that would lead to the first large field. "You're going to love it." Those words were all she could say that would sum up how the pack had affected her opinion of it. Being in Seracia was indeed something she felt blessed to have in her life. Sharing it with Dragon would make it even better.
