The Truth wins out

He was determined to catch Asla alone in the healer's den, and speak to her. He had a few choice words to say over her foolishness, of course. One of them was the absolute ease in which she had lied to him. But first and foremost, was the danger she had put herself and others into. He hoped her injuries served as an important lesson to her, as much as he hated to see her in pain.

He stuck his head in the den, blocking the entrance with his body. She didn’t know he knew the truth yet. He wouldn’t start with anger, and scare her away from confessing what was going on in her head. “Asla, are you awake?” he asked softly.
