Dont let it burn

The past few weeks has been much better than they used to be before she met Casso, she didnt feel lonely anymore, she didn’t feel like trash as much as she used to feel. She now had a new reason to keep leaving,to enjoy life more. Yes, she had a hard start, a cruel childhood and most of those times gave her reasons to stop living,to stop loving herself. She felt nothing would ever be better, that her fate was to die alone, to be hated by the world. When she joined Winterfell things started to slowly change but it wasnt until she joined her life with Csso that she started to gain more and more self-love. And whether she could Casso did, he spoke to her the words she could never tell on her own strength. She never saw herself the way Casso did. She never thought she was pretty, that she was worth meeting. But Casso did every day, and both lived with joy.

Yurei had come to the south for trying to find something very special, something she has been hoping to get someday but only now she decided to go for it. She found herself in a desert, one, of course, hot and sunny but what she was looking for was only found in deserts. Aloe vera was what she was coming for today. So the discomfort was worth for today, Aloe would be great to bring back to Winterfell. This plant didnt grow there and it helped in numberless ways and thus getting it would bring more benefits than anything else. So with her companion Aki they went through the dry lands hoping to find the soo needed herb. Being near noon, the sun was starting to be heavier and heavier she tried her best to rest from time to time in any shade she could find. And finally, after a few hours, she found the Aloe.

She started to grab some placing them in a jar hoping it could avoid the Vera getting dry by the implacable sun, she needed to leave as fast she could if she wanted that to happen. So she started to head back but spotting a very thin water pound she went there for the water, crouching a bit to being able to get some of the needed water.

But as she did, the skin from her belly managed to get contact with the now hyper hot sand and dust. And at the mere instant, it did, she felt her skin burning. A whimper escaped her lips making her jump backward. Now she felt the region sore and using the reflection of the water she inspectional it, seeing it was now red, and it felt aching. It seemed she just got herself a sunburn, it wasnt as severe as she thought it would be but it still needed treatment and as soon as she could get it. Well maybe she could use the aloe she just collected, but she again needed a shade. And like that she returned to where she lied before under that tree. Now there she took the Aloe out of the container it was in, but she only using a piece as the rest needed to be brought back to Winterfell. Therewith the help of Aki she opened and soon she applied the inner materials of the Aloe onto the burned region. The relief didnt come instantly but soon enough to start feeling much better. She just needed to hold it there enough for the effects to be better.

After some minutes she felt it good enough to move and return. Placing what was left back into the jar, she stood up, and with Aki jumping into her back she was ready to come back, to come back to her Casso. Yes, she could call him as such, for once she had someone she could call her family, one who didn’t judge her, who loved her despite the bad things she had. Maybe she could get this Aloe to their den’s store for not only themselves but everyone else within the pack who may be needing it. She took one last glance at the place before leaving back to her home.

As she arrived back to the north after a few hours. Tired she lied down within the ship and placing the jaw in her stores she was done for today. She wanted to now rest. Slowly she lied down there in their bed, Aki left on her own as she wasnt the type who would stick every single minute with her wolf, she just did during the foraging and medicinal procedures. Without those, she was free to leave. And like that Yurei closed her eyes and found her consciousness to soon fall asleep.
