He was definitely going to have to think of getting something for Meadow after all of this was over. She deserved a gift just as much as he did. Maybe more with how much work she was putting into the garden, and him. With his bright blue eyes closed he tried to forget about his woes and worries. Meadow deserved all of his attention and appreciation. He was determined to do better for her.
Indy was a little surprised when he felt the heavy crown placed on his head. He blinked open his eyes with surprise as she released him from his place, though he couldn’t see it well from where he was he could feel it. For the first time he felt like a King, like he was part of something so much more important than himself. Indigo lifted his head and stood a little taller, honored by her gift.
”Meadow,” he started sweetly, eyes only for her as she clapped happily but hesitated, uncertain of his approval. Indigo smiles widely and leans forward to give her cheek a kiss. ”It’s perfect, I can’t believe you did this.” Tears spring to his eyes but the young man calms himself. He had to master his emotions. ”Thank you so much.”
He grinned, but their moment was interrupted by his father’s deep voice as he summoned his children closer. Doing as he was told, but offering Meadow one more hug before he took his place beside Sirius. He was reminded again how much he didn’t want to be the center of attention.

As Sirius called Tox "princess" her skin flushed under her dark fur. She had pulled so far away, estranged herself from the pack, that she was unused to such a title. It didn't show outwardly, but she couldn't still the nervousness in her heart as she made her way to her seat. The rest of the party seemed to go on well, but Toxicity was just another face in the crowd. A lonesome male, uncertain and timid in demeanor, approached and asked to sit by her. Her mismatched eyes flicked towards his, a brow spot lifting lightly.
"Are you asking my permission, or just if it would be rude to occupy the space near me?"
The words were sharp, though she didn't mean them to be. She didn't know who this man was. Was he a Klein? A slave? Someone else entirely? Toxicity wasn't sure and really didn't want to bother trying to think about it.
"Either way, you may sit."

Soon her father was calling them all forward. Without having heard Azure's response, she had no choice but to get to her paws and move back out into the open. Aslatiel locked eyes with Indigo for a moment and offered him a small smile, though there was a deep tenderness in those purple eyes. He looked every bit the king of spring in his flower crown. After listening to her father's words, a smile formed on Aslatiel's maw. A den of her own, eh? Perfect. It was about time that they each had their own space.
When the floor was given over, the cream and ash young wolf stepped forward. Her tones were clear and sweet. She donned the diplomatic mask and addressed the congregation. "On behalf of my brothers and I, we thank you so much for your time and your gifts. We are truly honored to have such kind and thoughtful packmates." With a nod and a smile, she stepped back and sat beside her father.
The attention would be off of them for the remainder of the night, she hoped. Either way, with the gifts having been given, the timing would soon be appropriate enough to sneak away from her own party. She'd head back to the willows and nab a nap in a tree somewhere.
