Practically giddy from the alcohol, Halla was still alert enough to hear the haunting cry of an elk not far off. When she went to investigate she spied a small herd bedding down for the night at the edge of the gulley. Hunting while intoxicated was a bad idea. Good thing she didn't plan to hunt alone! Halla sauntered back to the beach and tipped her head back in a low howl, calling any who wanted to hunt to her. She didn't really have much of a strategy. Tonight she just wanted to pick a target and then wing it if anyone else felt brave enough to hunt this night. She'd had her alcohol and now she wanted her food. What was a party and gathering without a feast? With a big more food in her stomach she could finish off her bottle of wine before the night turned into the next day. "Talk"

Was that call serious, a hunt? Star had had a couple drinks and was feeling pretty good but a bit light-headed. Maybe hunting in their condition was a bad idea. Pffft! No way, it was an awesome idea! Stjarna stood and trotted over toward the pretty lady that had called for a hunt. "I'll join you, you can call me Star. What are we hunting?" Hopefully, it would be something bit, tender and juicy. After all, there were a lot of mouths here to feed. Near as he could tell not many other wolves had brought themselves dinner and all Star had eaten was a rabbit. It was a good and fat rabbit but alcohol had a tendency to make one hungry, at least in Stjarna's opinion. With an appetite rearing to go, they were getting anxious to start. If the prey was elk though they'd need a few more wolves to join the hunt.
