Eurus!

The news of his father's passing hit hard. He wasn't even sure how to process it, it just didn't seem real. He felt almost like he was floating but not in a good way, in a dizzy, sick way. He was elated to be hope, stricken by the news. Wyndelin couldn't quite work out what he was feeling but when he reached the main den site he threw back his head and howled for Eurus. He wanted to see his brother, he needed to see his brother. Having someone from his family was crucial now, especially since it sounded like their other siblings were gone. How had they gone from a family of seven to a family of two? "Talk" |

He had been hanging around his own den, relaxing after he had finished his most recent hunt. He had drug his kill all the way pack towards the main part of the pack territory and left it for any who felt hungry. then retreated to his own secluded willow tree that he had picked out. It was similar set up to the tree he was raised under, though not as big and part of the curtain was cut away on the one side almost like a door. It was a nice place and he had done his job on digging out a nice den, filling it with soft furs to sleep on, but it still felt bare no matter what he did. There was pieces to the puzzle of life that were missing and he was still having a hard time coping with being the only one left. He missed his father still, missed his words of wisdom and all that.
His ears would perk as a familiar howl directed to him rang through the territory. At first he was confused wondering if he had heard things, but soon he would get himself up and take off in the direction of the call. He slowed as he grew closer and as the familiar form came into view his stomach fluttered in nervousness. It was his brother who he hasn't seen since before the volcano eruption. He had returned home and Eurus' emotions grew conflicted. He managed to swallow it before going to his brother's side, sensing Wyn's emotions already.
"Wyn your home," he managed to say looking to his brother.

Wyndelin fidgeted as he waited, choking back sobs from the news he'd been given. It just wasn't fair! He slowly got ahold of himself but the minute he saw Eurus he sprinted toward the other, seeking to wrap his arms around the other's neck. He wasn't even sure what to say. "Yes, I finally got away and came right here, but oh Eurus, Torin told me what's happened and…" His voice trailed off before he looked at his brother sadly. "Is it really just us?" He couldn't believe they were the last two. Part of him wondered if they should try hunting for their fellow siblings but even as he thought it he knew it was a foolish idea. Any scent left was long gone by now. "Talk" |
