Zee had convinced Seer to come along with her for this one, knowing she'd likely need his support in her extra-hormonal state. The other kids had all been informed and now it was all down to Asla, the one child of their litter who had made it very clear that she wanted no more siblings. Prior to the meeting Zee thought long and hard on how exactly to phrase it, so their littlest knew that she still held a place in their heart even if she was no longer their baby anymore.

She leaned upon Sirius' strong shoulder, defaulting to him to make the decision to call for their only (for now?) daughter. It wouldn't be an easy conversation for any of them, but she hoped it wouldn't go as badly as she expected.

Sirius as her husband may crash any of Zee's threads.

Zee has a rough scaled bush viper companion as well as a toucan, who unless otherwise stated can assume to not be present.
During combat, Zee wears a wrapping of thorns around her kudu horns.

Asla would always hold a special place in his heart. She was his daughter, his first daughter, and a wolf he had watched the stars with. She was growing into a respectable young lady, and his heart squeezed when he thought of her. He could see her becoming an authority in this pack with her newfound responsibility. Would her maturity extend to this? There was only one way to find out. The idea of filling his den with little babies again brought a grin to his muzzle. He could only hope that Asla could rejoice with him over this wonderful occurrence. Perhaps he was more optimistic in this then Zee was.

As Zee leaned gently against him, he raised his head and called for their daughter, so she might be one of the first to know what was coming.

"Aslatiel Fatalis"

Already in a sour mood, Aslatiel almost ignored the call. Perhaps she could say later that she was out of the territory on a hunting expedition or something. With a grumble, Asla peeled herself away from the napping form of Basilisk and moved towards the door. She hadn't even wanted to leave today. Her split with Indy was still a raw wound and so begging Bas to be lazy and nap with her had seemed like the best course of action.

Outside of her den, the young lady shook out her striped pelt and moved towards her father's call. She wondered what he had to say. Had Indigo said something to him? Dark paws carried her across the territory. She had purposefully chosen the spot for her den so that it was as far away from the familial den as possible. It made her feel more grown up that way.

Seeing both of her parents sitting there gave the girl pause. Purple gaze narrowed as she drew near. They both had silly grins on their faces. She knew that something was up and she had a feeling that it wasn't good. Aslatiel seated herself a few feet away and stared at them, waiting to hear what they had to tell her.

Asla arrived promptly and although Zee couldn't quite read her expression, she only felt stronger that their littlest might not take the news well. Sirius' muzzle was pulled into a grin and Zee shot her husband a quick glance - this conversation would not go how he was expecting, that much she was sure.

The horned queen offered her daughter a soft, almost apologetic smile, seating herself and curling her tail around her back legs. "Sorry if we interrupted you, I know you must be very busy." Asla was not only reaching for the rank of Lieutenant but also competing for Reaper. Their stargazer had put her mind to the task and Zee had spotted her often bringing home trophies from her hunts or with her small paws bloodied by a recent fight.

"You're not a child anymore, so we won't be speaking to you like one." Once more she turned towards Sirius, the statement being as much for her husband as it was for her daughter. "The truth is, we're going to have another litter. You're going to have siblings." She paused, letting the information sink in. Zee did not intend to rush the conversation, and Asla would have however much time she needed to absorb the potentially upsetting news. "Now, how much you'd like to be involved in their lives as their sister is up to you... but it will be one of your responsibilities as Lieutenant to help train them. Does that sound acceptable to you?" Neither alpha would be placing a wolf who was unwilling to fulfill their responsibility of teaching simply because they disliked them from the day they were born. Before they could grant Asla her promotion, Zee needed to know she was prepared to put expectations above her emotions.

It was a short wait, but he didn’t mind having a little patience. Leaning against his wife and Queen as he waited for his Princess to arrive. He could feel Zee’s anxiety, thrumbing gently beneath her skin. Despite the occasions where he had seen a dark side of his daughter, he still believed the best in her. He loved her with all his heart, but he did not think that love was blind. She would see, and understand, that children were a good thing. She did not like others holding the name, but these were full blooded Fatalis children, as a part of the family as any kids Asla herself might bare one day.

As Asla appeared, his wife spoke first, her voice gentle and understanding. The voice of reason to the kids, as she always was, well Sirius swayed between protective and possessive. He let Zee continue to speak, knowing he was more likely to bungle the introduction. He trusted Zee to find the right words with Asla, his little star-gazing warrior.

Sirius leaned forward as Zee continued her speech, aiming to land a kiss on Asla’s cheek. “I know that you can handle the responsibility, and have the strength to fight for this pack and do what's right by it. Do you feel ready?” he said, his simple, honest belief in his daughter clear in those words.
