Mort!!

The boy found himself wandering, though not far from Hallowed ground. The longer he stayed there the more it became clear that they were not his people, and the springs were not his home. He had yet to notify the pack members about his plans, though he intended to. Better to leave questions answered rather then let them ruminate, that he knew quite clearly.
The child walked among the low hanging leaves, swaying gently in an invisible current, cloaking the area like curtains of green silk. They protected him from the harsh summer sun almost as well as a roof over his head, and he nestled himself into a low-lying nook in one the trees, where the stump separated into two, leaving a gap just wide enough for him to rest. He didn't sleep, but he wasn't exactly aware of his immediate surroundings either, half-lidded eyes staring at nothing as he cooled off.
