Having had her last forage for herbs interrupted, Abby resolved to try again. This time however, she was looking for the bright burning yellow of marigold rather than the more subdued indigos of earthsmoke. Of course the vibrant herb also grew on the range, but the mottled girl had taken the opportunity of a lengthier journey into unexplored territory.
The forest was hard to navigate even before the fog crept through the foilage. She'd found a bunch of the flowers out of pure luck, but foolishly sought more. As she scanned the undergrowth it hadn't occurred to her that her surrounding were getting dimmer by the second, and she only realised she had screwed up when her own paws were out of sight. She was now lost.
Abby nestled by a particularly large tree, seeking to wait out the phenomenon? Weather? Where did fog come from? In her few experiences with it she had never really understood it. She huddled closer to her tree, waiting for it to end.

Abby is completely blind as of this thread. The curse will lift on the first day of winter.
Abby has a common brush tailed possum companion named Bell. She’s Abby’s guide dog until her curse is lifted. If she’s not mentioned assume she is close by/present.
