He didn't quite have anything on his agenda today...except for a border patrol, though nobody really came to visit the northern pack which...he supposed was a good thing. Also a little boring. Part of him wished there was more action around here, and he wondered if his cousin Winter would be able to pick things up around here, otherwise...well...he wasn't sure. He didn't particularly have any goals other than trying to rise in the ranks and fucking up other animals outside of the pack. He had fresh new bruises and cuts and scratches from his most recent brawl with a rogue wolf for no reason other than frustration and just wanting to pick a fight. He ignored the wounds, however, as he walked quietly along the borders and strengthening the markers. He was alone for the better part of the morning until he spotted one of his cousins just beyond the border. He paused for a moment, wondering if he should leave him alone or actually talk to him. Despite them being family, Tyto had mostly kept to himself and didn't talk much with anyone. Though he was also aware that this particular cousin also kept to himself more often than not. "Hey Snow, what're you up to?" "Speak"

He was out contemplating what he wanted to do for his life, though truth be told he wasn't entirely sure yet. He all but forgot about his mother by this point, had been doing some training with his dad, but when he wasn't doing that, he was mostly off doing things by himself. He wasn't sure why he decided to keep to himself. He supposed he wasn't much of the social type, but he didn't really think about it too often. He liked spending time alone. It often gave him all the time he wanted to study or just...enjoy things. "Hey Snow, what're you up to?" He turned to see his older cousin approaching, someone while he knew to be family, he hadn't spent any amount of time with. "Nothing much, just...thinking about stuff. You?" He was curious about his cousin. He knew Tyto and Tsunami were niece and nephew to his father, and he knew more or less that their father and mother had walked out on them...of course, he was smart enough not to talk about that. He didn't want to accidentally upset his cousins, nor was it any of his business. In some form he could relate, however. His own mother walked out when they were young, but he never talked about that, either.

He shrugged as his cousin returned the question, "Nothin' much. Was just doing a border patrol but...everything is fine. As always." He tried not to sound like he wasn't thankful for that, but considering the mood he'd been in lately, he was craving some form of action or something. He sighed and shook his head before moving to sit near his cousin, offering a bit of a smile to him as he sat. "Done anything interesting lately? How're you doing on your training?" He really did wonder how Snow was doing with his training. Maybe if his cousin was up to it, they could train together for a bit. "If you're not too busy, would you like to join me to finish up the rest of the patrol?" That was a start to getting to the topic, right? "Speak"
