Usually Kefka would bring Relm along as he traveled to hunt or just for whatever reason. They both weren't very fond of the cold weather of the north so even though Relm was tired of all the walking she had to say she liked coming down south even if it wasn't far from home. Kefka would leave Relm to adventure on her own, not the best decision of a father but he wanted her to have the most freedom she could have. Of course he was nearby in case something were to happen but they had been lucky so far. Not to Kefka's acknowledgement but her rare and odd color could have been something desirable for a wandering wolf to come by and snatch. And he was also unaware of the slave trade getting prepared nearby in these lands. He still felt like he would be prepared to protect her given the circumstance and wouldn't fret over her going off on her own. Relm wouldn't wander deep into the spooky forest, she kept the mountains in her view through the trees so she wouldn't get lost. Her small puppy body would be able to squeeze between the huge roots and overgrown vegetation. And if she wasn't filling her time with just looking around at her surrounds, she was searching the ground and the air for anything interesting. Walk "Talk" Think

Harbringr still traveled with the pups on occasion and they'd take a short excursion into the nearby forest. It was spooky but it was also exciting. It made him think of when he'd met a girl last season and they'd gone looking for a dead body. They'd set up camp and while Harbringr and Ari worked on building a fire the boys were allowed to wander.

Áskell took off like a shot, eager to explore the forest. His magpie companion took to the skies above him, nimbly flying amongst the branches. When the bird called out that it saw someone Áskell turned his attention from a dead bird and scrambled to a small clearing where he saw another girl. "Hi!" He bounded over some tree roots."Did your dad bring you training too? Wanna fight?" He fell into a play bow and looked at her expectantly.

Relm wouldn't spook at the older boy's presence, but it would take her by surprise a little bit. Her head would turn to face the voice approaching her, and the form of the boy over the tree roots. She thought to herself that he seemed a little too happy or spunky for her. A bow? Her face may have showed just a bit of the emotions she felt with squinted eyes almost questioning his actions. He seemed pretty eager to get into a fight too, but Relm could tell it wasn't a serious battle he wanted. She was a little thrown off by his one question though. Her eyes flicked around as she looked for Kefka around the fog and trunks. He wasn't around and it had her curious about the boy that found her. She only recently learned of mothers and Kichi seemed to have both a mother and father before Lurid took care of him. It was just weird to her that the boy would mention her father as if he had spoken to him or was sent to her by him. She wasn't quite sure what to make of it. Was she being tested? "No, me and Daddy travel a lot." Only referring to his mention of coming here to train. "I've never fought anyone before but I'd like to try it for sure." She was still pretty young and tiny, but she wanted to learn how to protect herself and be strong like her father. She was pretty smart especially for being so young, but the thought of fighting off an adult compared to a younger wolf, even one Askell's age, it hadn't crossed her mind. Still, he would be a fine first opponent to learn on. And she wouldn't be so easy to back down or pass up the offer. OOC: Aksell can start the first move if you want! Walk "Talk" Think

She didn't seem to sure of him but he wasn't deterred. His ears flicked forward as she mentioned that she hadn't fought anyone before and would like to try. Áskell had sparred with his brother but he was so much more robust than his sibling that he really wanted to try sparring someone else. Her words were all he needed. He quickly set his defenses, ears pinning to his head and tail tucking as his hackles and fur stood on end.

His legs coiled and then he sprang for the girl. He bounded toward her then slipped off just slightly to his left as he sought to bite the right side of her neck just behind her jawline. He didn't have much of a strategy yet, he was just trying to get used to being in a spar.

Askell wouldn't hesitate to move forward and Relm had no experience other than what was her own natural instinct. Her paws planted into the ground with a little twist and her muscles tensed for the impact. Her tail seemed to remain out to keep her own balance. Askell took a lucky attack on her right side not knowing she was blind on that side. And it was extremely surprising for Relm to feel his grasp on her neck. What ever little viscous puppy noises she could make bluntly escaped her throat. She wasn't sure what else to do other than go to attempt her own grab on his right shoulder, aiming in the center of his whole blade between the curved bone of his shoulder and his armpit. She was completely blind to his movement or her own attempted hold, only seeing what she could from her left eye which was mostly just his hind quarters and some of his rib cage. She knew now that she would have to rely wholly on what she could feel rather than what she could see. Áskell's fangs dug into the right side of the girls neck. He bit her! He bit her! Ok, now what? He focused on maintaining his grip and defenses, keeping his ears pinned and his tail tucked. He wished now that he'd paid more attention to his father's lessons bu he was sure he'd figure it out. Suddenly he felt her teeth on his shoulder and he flinched at he pain, a muffled 'ow' slipping ou of his mouth. He'd been bitten before but he forgot how much it hurt. Áskell's hind legs bunched beneath him. He tried to push himself forward and push his shoulder farther into Relm's mouth to try and make her choke while at he same time trying to push his chest into her nearest shoulder in the hopes he could make her stumble.

She was keen in noticing his weakness to her bite as his legs wobbled a little to the pain, but she wasn't ready for him to shove his body forward into her open mouth and it would make her instantly lose hold of her grasp as she nearly gagged from the pressure. His shoulder pushed into her and made her hind legs cave in as she scooted back trying to move away from his body. He was a bit bigger than her by age, but he was much stronger than her by both the little training or experience he had plus his slight older age. She tried to plant her front paws into the ground, along with a slight angle of her back paws under her just enough so she wouldn't topple backwards. She'd aim to grab hold of the right side of his rib cage, again center with his body, as well as trying to push herself into him with whatever traction and balance she could find. He would either be successful in pushing her over or she would be able to stalemate him by pushing him off of her. They would find out soon who was better than who.
