Yurei was down south in one of her many herb foraging, as with winter at the doorstep, she needed to gather as much as she could. And now that she held a rank with more responsibilities, she doubled the times she went out for herbs, now going out three times a day. And today she went down of Boreas. Of course, she still did her best to share time with Casso whenever he wanted, and each day that passed she was falling more and more in love with him, with his smile, with all of himself. And yet they were still getting ready, for whenever they would choose to move on and have children. But Yurei still didnt know how her pessimism would affect their lives, but she was getting more confident but not as fast as she wanted. The morning was young as she arrived at the river, and there she started to look for any of the herbs on her list. Aki her cat went off as well, helping her. Ellery had decided to venture a little further north, begrudgingly taking some time to do what her mother had implored her to: explore. After pestering Judas and Ramiel to make sure they did some actual searching for the trio they were after, she’d begun her journey, just going until she felt like stopping. Half of the day was spent traveling, stopping here or there to catch some food or inspect the area. It wasn’t until she reached an area with a wide river that she decided to stop, partially because it seemed interesting and partially because if she went any further it’d take her a lot longer to get back.

The Hervok Amazon had come across few other rivers as wide and imposing as this one. She figured it had to be at least a mile in width and she could see fish, probably Salmon, breaching the surface every once in a while. The land around the river seemed to hum with life, ensuring the promise of fertile ground and prey. She hummed, pondering on whether or not she was going to fish and briefly thinking back on when her Papa had taught her how, when she scent of another wolf was carried her way on the wind. The scent of a wildcat was closely intermingled with it and she felt herself go on alert, auds perking as she looked around.

Deciding to go warn the other, Ellery followed the path the scent paved until the form of a large while wolf came into view. She was white as snow without a blemish in sight, and her eyes so spring green they felt like they held the spring’s life within them. Pretty the woman mused to herself. So as not to startle the other, she offered a gentle chuff, placing herself in full view but remaining several feet away. “I don’t mean to alarm you, but I think you may be being tailed by a wildcat,” she offered, persian blue gaze looking around them to make sure the animal wasn’t lying in wait. Though, it would certainly be stupid for it to try and attack the both of them. Maybe it was just looking for scraps?

The female was subemrged into her task, having her awareness eaten by it. Aki wasnt far but aswell had her mind in the search of materials. Materials for keeping her pack as healthy as she could, there was still alot to learn, alot to know but now she could say she had progressed. Progressed alot since she firstly arrived the pack. She stopped walking as the memories from back then cameto life. She was clumsy, lost and helpless. She rmeber how scared she was, and even though she still had some of that old self, she wasnt as much. She shook her head to wash away the thoughts but that wasnt enough to drain the sadness that started to colide with her heart, sadness from the time before, before she arrived. Eyes angled with the skies, feeling a tear running down her cheek,but then the voice from another wolf made her turn to it. Ears pinned and tail tucked. It was a large female. She always had the anxiety with meeting strangers, specially alone. A part of her wanted to leave, but she didnt want to be rude. "Hi..." She managed to say in a whisper. "Oh that's Aki. My companion, she is helping me look for some herbs..." She explained. "I.. I am Yurei...Yurei Praetor.." "speak"

Despite her attempts to appear non-threatening, the woman was clearly feeling just that. Ellery made no movement to get closer to her, keeping her posture open to show her she really meant no harm. The Hervok woman was a knight, after all, and that came with a certain amount of chivalry on her end. She was respectable and upheld a code of do no harm unless harm is done to you.

Elle’s brows rose when the woman called the wildcat her companion and even gave it a name. Taming a wildcat? She’d never heard of such a thing, but at the same time she supposed anything could happen in the land they’d come across. “So it...ah, Aki. Aki listens to what you say and obeys you?” she asked. Her voice and expression was careful to leak only curiosity and none of the confusion she felt. Yurei was clearly skittish by nature and if she felt judged she’d likely take off.

“Forgive my curiosity. We just don’t have anything like that where I’m from. My name is Ellery Hervok, it’s a pleasure to meet you Miss. Yurei,” she greeted, offering a small reassuring grin.
