Don't Forget A Thread Title

Úlfr wandered along the great river, looking for a place to settle down and do a bit of crafting. Now that he was getting a bit older he was relishing being able to wander farther away from home. Úlfr found a nice flat clearing along the river and set aside his travois. He pulled out a back of bones. He planned to make a bone knife and maybe a few other odds and ends while he was at it. Úlfr pulled out the goat shoulder blade he wanted to work on and started chewing on it. He worked with his teeth for a bit but realizing this would take awhile he stood up and picked up a nearby rock. Úlfr carefully lifted the rock up and dropped it on the bone til it cracked. Úlfr separated the pieces, setting aside one for the bone knife and another for the spearhead. Úlfr carefully picked up the smaller bone fragment and began to fine tune the shape with his teeth.

Áskell travelled with his father to the river once more. Harbringr was planning to do some fishing and of course the pup was going to make a few things. He hadn't quite decided what but he had a big chunk of clay hat he figured he could make a pot out of and then another decorative dial. This time he'd try and remember to put a hole in the dial so he could actually hang it up. Finding a good place to settle down and work, he rolled his clay out and then used his paws to break a chunk off for the dial while rolling the larger part into a ball that he could mold into a pot.
As he worked he heard chewing and looked down the bank until he saw an older boy eating some bones. His ears perked up. "Hi there, what are you doing?"

Úlfr looked up at the voice that spoke out and saw a younger boy also making some items. He grinned, tail wagging lightly. "Hi, I'm Úlfr. I'm just making some things out of bones. What about you?" It certainly looked like he was making something to though he had no idea what. Úlfr hadn't worked much with clay. Úlfr continued to sculpt the smallest bone fragment into a spearhead.
Úlfr returned to chewing on the bone fragment, sharpening one end into a blade-like point before moving to the other side. He didn't mind the sound of his fangs on bone, if anything he rather enjoyed the sound.
Úlfr kept chewing away at the bone to start shaping the piece into something more like a blade. He worked diligently until he got the shape he desired. Lynvarr then took the blade in his jaws and carefully started running it over a nearby stone to sharpen and sculpt and smooth out some of his rough tooth marks.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Áskell Klein. I'm making some stuff out of clay, you can use some of it if you want." He was just excited to meet someone close to his age that enjoyed crafting as well. Áskell rolled the larger ball of clay a bit more then smashed his paw down in the center of it. From there he started shaping his bowl. He pushed the clay out to form walls and then used his paw pad to smooth the top and the outside of the bowl.
Once that was done he turned his attention to the smaller piece of clay which he also slowly rolled into a ball. He then flattened it, carefully smashing his paw along the clay shape until he had a disc he could put some designs on. Áskell tried to smooth out the edges a bit but he left some of the cracks.

Úlfr smiled at Áskell. "I'm good with these bones for now, but thanks for the offer." He focused back on his project, just grateful for a little extra company. Úlfr chewed a few more chunks off the other side of bone before deciding he had a pretty decent spear head. The point still needed to be refined a bit so he took the blade in his teeth and started rubbing it against a large stone to fine tune the point. Once that was done he took the bone knife in his teeth again and worked to sharpen and refine that one a bit more now that he had the smaller spearhead finished. He used his teeth to carefully chip off smaller pieces before he was finally satisfied with the shape and could call the project finished.

Áskell resisted the urge to pepper the other youth with questions and instead focused on what he was doing. Once he set his projects aside to dry he could turn his attention to conversing. With the clay dial flattened, Áskell worked at tracing a design into the clay with his claws. He used his claws to make little dots at the top and then horizontal lines at the bottom.
Turning his attention to the pot he decided to try decorating the outside of it in a similar manner. He took his claws and carefully pressing in dots on the top half of the pot. Then he went back and scratched in lines at the bottom of the pot. He grinned, tail wagging at his work. This was going to be a beautiful pot and he couldn't wait to show it off to his father and brother.
