She had taken her time to grieve Aureus. And during that time, a fresh wave of grief for Malleus had also come along. She had struggled with herself as she tried to deal with it, but she was finally convinced that she could no longer hide away and no longer ignore her duties to the pack. Eligos was the only one she talked to really. Thalia was no longer really around, and everyone else was often out and about doing their own thing. It didn't particularly help that she was antisocial, but her odd honey badger companion was helping a great deal with that. While she knew Eli was dealing with his own issues these days, she wanted to seek him out and offer her full support. As well as potentially discuss advancing her role if it were a possibility, though she wouldn't be upset if it didn't happen.
After all, she considered Eli her brother. After Malleus, he and Pyrrhic were the only two constants in her life. She had come to trust both of them a great deal, and there weren't really any others she could trust the way she trusted them. Although...there was perhaps one other. She hadn't forgotten Viviane, but she couldn't claim she trusted the Valhallan woman just yet. After all, it had been quite sometime since she'd seen her...perhaps it was time to pay her a visit. But first, she wanted to check in on Eli and see how he was doing. While she knew he wasn't helpless, she did want to ensure he knew she was there for him and if there was anything he needed done, she had no problem doing it.
She sat on the shoreline of the lake as she watched her badger digging up tubers and crustaceans to eat. Ina herself didn't like seafood, but maybe Eli would like a snack himself? After thinking about it a moment, she decided to wade into the shallows now that the season provided easy fishing for the pack. She waited there in the shallows, careful not to move as she waited for a fish to swim near. Pale blue gaze spotted a decent sized rainbow trout lazily swimming by, and when she felt it got close enough, she lunged for it. Teeth closed around the fish's body, its tail smacking her muzzle but she refused to let it go. With a few splashing hops, she was back on the shore where she promptly dropped the fish on the ground before promptly giving it a swift death so that it would stop flipping around.
