As they approached the border of Iroh's pack, she wasn't nearly as nervous as she thought she would be. Iroh had such a calming, steady presence to him and as she stood at his side she could only feel the excitement of a new chapter. That love drunk newest of their relationship still lingered from the night before. When she woke up that morning still cuddled close against his side it was like a realization that everything that had happened the night before wasn't at all a dream. It was all entirely real and the promise she had made in confessing her feelings for him still stood. She leaned into Iroh's shoulder and peered up at him with adoration and affection in her expression, leaning up to give him a kiss before he could call for the pack's alpha. It was as much a reminder to herself as it was to him of this furiously burning spark between them that was bright and hot enough to make her willing to settle down for once in her life. As their lips parted she grinned while her tail brushed against his. "Lets get Eligos over here before I try to just steal you away instead." "Talk" "You" Think

Waking up with Elise wrapped up in his arms after the chilly night had made all of the tension and nervousness worth every moment. Iroh hadn’t been in a massive hurry as the pair of them made their way to the borders of Aerie. With his pace slow and steady the Abraxas man savored every step he took beside her, escorting her to her, no, their new life. His dark tail swayed lightly at his hips and as they walked he would bump his lady’s shoulder gently with affection. He still felt the dizzy newness of their love, but even the sparse foundation they’d started made him certain of his decisions. They solidified further when they were made to halt at the border.

Elise demanded his attention, and he wouldn’t have dreamed to deny her wishes. As she leaned against him Iroh returned her affection and kisses. She reminded him without question these next steps the two of them were taking. She made his skin alight and his heart beat fast despite the easy pace of their short journey. He grinned through their kiss, happy to pause their scheduled meeting for more of her. Elise pulled away and spoke softly, warning him that if he delayed too long it would be him that was pulled off to her next adventure instead of the other way around.

Iroh chuckled lightly as he sat back on his haunches. ”No, lets not get us both in trouble.” He grinned and shook his head teasingly before lifting his head and summoning Eligos to the border.

Eligos was patrolling when the call came for him, patrolling along as Cypher and Kida each took their own patrol routes now to help cover mpre ground for the small pack. This was a relief to know, as when he left his route he onew that the malinois, alerted by the same call, would close in to cover his section as well. He traced the call to see Iroh with a stranger - no, not quite. A stranger yes, but a face that he had seen before in passing, at Jupiter of Fireside's party. He was immediately wary, but no, too much time had passed since then for the younger man to ve bringing home a mistake. Well... perhaps, but not likely an accidental litter from that night unless they were stashed elsewhere. Best make no assumptions. Face polite and interested as he stopped before them, he inclined his head in greeting. "Iroh," he said warmly, and with a tilt of his head toward the stranger, "I see you have brought a friend with you." His voice was open, polite, and utterly without judgement as he invited an introduction. His relationship with his cousin still felt too tenuous to him for any hint of judgement.

There was a few moments to wait for Aerie’s alpha to greet them and as much as she was tempted to tease her love in the mean time, she decided to refrain to keep up some form of politeness and decorum. She did want to make a good first impression for her first adventure into pack life after all. It was going to be quite the change - one that she was excited about even though she was slightly self conscious about it as well. Elise settled for leaning into Iroh’s shoulder and giving little nuzzles into his neck while they waited.

Soon enough a black and gold marked man approached them and she leaned away from Iroh enough to stand fully on her own feet, but she was still close enough for their sides to brush together. She offered the man, who she assumed was Eligos, a smile when he greeted them with a pleasant tone, glancing between the two dark coated males. “Elise Adravendi,” she said as she spoke up to introduce herself, giving Eligos a polite bow and a bright smile. “A pleasure to meet you.”

Both wolves had trouble keeping their paws off each other while they waited for the alpha of aerie, once they were done with the decorum and official business they could get back to getting to know each other better. He knew how nervous she was, and how different her life would be after joining a pack. He was proud of her bravery and steadfast manner she faced uncertainty. She leaned against his shoulder and Iroh looked down at her lovingly as she tempted him with little snuggles while they waited for Eligos.

As soon as the alpha appeared over the horizon though, both of them shifted to a much more professional stance. Iroh returned Eli’s grin as he greeted the pair of them. ”Eligos,” he greeted as Elise took the lead and introduced herself. With her natural charm she gave her introduction and a formal bow. Iroh couldn’t get enough of her pretty smile, and nearly lost himself in it.

How did he explain to Eligos who she was to him though? Should he be blunt about the development of their relationship or ease into the idea? ”My girlfriend, Elise.” He decided to explain as he tried to keep his blue and lavender gaze on his cousin instead of the beautiful woman he was blessed to call his own. ”She wishes to join Aerie so we can be together.” Now he was nervous. Eligos offered no indication of his inner thoughts, Iroh had no idea how the older man might feel about the addition.

The woman introduced herself, and he tilted his head, curious for a moment what business one of Aurielle's relations had to do with Aerie, but Iroh was quick to clarify. Eli blinked, but it didn't come as that much of a surprise as he might have expected it to. "I see," he said, with a quick glance between them. Well, he couldn't say that he was displeased for Iroh to have brought home a mate. It caused far less difficulty than a mate outside of the pack, so it was a relief. The fact that it was a female who was promiscuous enough to have taken part in an orgy was................ troubling, but care could be taken to see that she did not try to pass off someone else's pups onto Iroh. He let a smile touch his lips. "Congratulations," he added, on the subject of them being together. "With Iroh vouching for you of course you are welcome into Aerie. Are you aware of our pack's set up and rank structure? We will need to test you in whatever skills you choose to pursue to be sure you are placed in the appropriate rank, but that can come after you've settled."

Eligos' reactions were hard to read as he glanced between herself and Iroh so she was a tad nervous to hear what his response would be, but soon enough he assured them that Iroh vouching for her would give her a place in Aerie so she was able to relax again with a smile. She wanted to immediately look to Iroh and bounce in place with the excitement she felt over getting to be with him properly here, but she held herself back for the moment. There were still formalities and things to work through, of course, and she didn't want to seem rude. When Eligos asked about how much she knew of the pack's structure and her own skills that would have to be tested she replied, "Iroh explained a good bit about it on the way here," allowing herself a glance toward Iroh before refocusing on the alpha in front of her.

"I'm sure there is still plenty to learn and adapt to, but I'm willing," she added with another bright smile. "As far as my skills go... I'm pretty confident in navigating around Boreas and Auster and I've gotten pretty skilled with crafting and fashioning things from bits and pieces as of late." It didn't feel as tangible as a skill set like hunting or fighting, but she was pretty sure that she could find a way to make herself helpful one way or another. With a small shrug she added, "I'm pretty willing to learn whatever will make me the most helpful around Aerie. I've lived alone most of my life so I haven't had a teacher for most other talents before now."

Iroh didn’t have any idea of Eli’s inner suspicions of his woman. He wasn’t sure if he ever really expected to become monogamous but he wouldn’t hesitate now that he had Elise. She was everything he wanted and more, and the grin he wore didn’t hide the fact very well. Eli congratulated them and went on to turn his attention to Elise as he sought to decide where she would best fit within the pack. He could feel Elise tense and hold herself back, and he offered a small encouraging smile.

With his blue and lavender gaze returned to Eli he spoke a word of thanks before Elise took the floor. She spoke about her skills and talents, but Iroh had all faith in her. She’d carve out a place for herself in Aerie. She wasn’t a lazy woman, and being on her own for so long knew how to take care of herself. Iroh looked over at Elise proudly, she was capable, smart, and beautiful and she was his.

Eli listened as the women spoke of her skills, and he nodded encouragingly. "Tentatively I would venture that you would enjoy best the Path of Earth, that of crafters and traders. You will have time to think on the subject and talk it over with Iroh or any of Aerie before you need come to a decision, however. You can demonstrate your skills another time, when you are settled in perhaps." He tilted his gaze towards Iroh and gave a quiet nod in his direction. "I must return to my patrol, but I am sure that Iroh would be pleased to show you the territories and help you find a suitable den," he said, though given the way young Iroh was looking at the woman it was likely that den would be his own. Well, and there was nothing wrong with that as long as precautions were taken while Eligos satisfied his himself that she would be a loyal and productive pack member. She seemed sincere enough, and time would tell. For Iroh's sake he hoped his natural suspicipus nature was off base. He shifted his weight in such a way as to make it clear he was preparing to leave the two to their tour if Iroh was amenable. He had no doubt Iroh would be halpy to show her around, but Eligos politely waited for agreement before he would resime his patrol.
