Another day, another game in the works. Only this time, he decided to integrate another lesson with it. Today, he'd teach the pups how to track other wolves. It was a useful thing to learn and know, especially for future use. One never knew when they'd need to track someone down to pass on information, a warning, a message...or perhaps even for more nefarious reasons. He wanted to test his kids' skills to try and determine what their strengths and weaknesses were so far so that he could help them improve and work on what needed strengthening. As he sat at the mouth of the mines, he called for the young pups to join him. And of course, his wolverine and cockatoo would guide them here, but the first test was to see if they could track his scent here to begin with.

Ciná heard the faint echo of his father’s howl, pulling him away from the exploring he was doing around the Sparse Pines. Ever since they learned about hunting squirrels he had been trying to do it again himself - though the darn things were awfully fast and he was getting frustrated pretty quickly. He was more than happy to abandon the task in favor of running off in the direction of where he thought he heard his dad calling from. When he got near the border he found his father’s companions and waited around for the rest of his siblings to show up before they set out. Of course the companions were going to make sure they got there, but the foot prints and scent were still pretty fresh and easy to follow as well. He made his way over to where their father was standing in front of an opening that was kind of like a cave but not quite and peeked around Ignis to look into the dark mine curiously.

"Cináed"

After their first lesson, it wasn't too hard to be expectant of another. Now that she'd gotten a taste of learning she was pretty excited to do more. What she really wanted to do was learn how to fight, but they had yet to broach that subject yet which disappointed the young fiery girl. She wanted to get a head start so that, when she was old enough, she'd be the best of the best and be able to prove that she was as amazing as she already believed herself to be. Ignis' challenge wasn't... well, much of a challenge. After learning how to discern scents from their squirrel hunting she'd been practicing on her own. Ignis was calling for them again and this time she wouldn't be last like she was on their first outing from the den. She raced towards where she'd heard him howl and then stuck her nose to the ground to pick out his all too familiar scent. It didn't take her long to find Cinaed and Ignis at the mouth of a weird cave. She smirked, obviously proud of herself, before she planted herself next to her brother as they waited for her other brothers and sister to arrive. Walk, "Talk" Think

With only one lesson under her belt, the young girl was already feeling confident, but was eager as ever for more. She wanted to be the best, and she wouldn’t accomplish that without putting in the effort to get there. When she heard her father’s, it sounded far off from where she was so she wasted no time in charging off in that direction. Ciná was at the border waiting and she joined him in waiting for everyone else before following along with him. The trail was easy enough to follow, but she was sure tracking their father to where he waited wasn’t their actual lesson. She was ready for a challenge, though, and happy to learn something new.
