Her dark paws hoisted her up onto a portion of the crumbling wall, giving her a slightly better vantage point as her aqua gaze looked out across the mostly empty expanse of snow covered land. There were a few minimal trees dotting the plain, but this wall of old stones seemed to be the only real feature of note. Her rich coloring stood out like a confident beacon in the blank, bleak landscape.

She hummed thoughtfully while she calculated their next move. She and Nirvana had been been moving around from place to place for the last few months, her sister's collection of ravens following and watching with their new found freedom that they seemed to not know what to do with. It was a feeling she could understand. With the entirety of the wide open world in front of them and the choice up to them of where they put down roots it became a game of which spot was good enough for her and her daughter. The problem with that game was that nothing would be good enough and she had to decide when she would settle.

Hopping down from her temporary perch with a graceful leap, the Mendacium woman continued on her path as she started looking off toward the horizon. She couldn't decide if the weather in this area was always this harsh or if it was an unusual event. From what she had gathered so far this did seem to be the northern portion of the continent, but even so... shouldn't it be spring? Her ears flicked dismissively. No matter. She'd keep moving until she found a place - or a wolf - that satisfied her very high standards. In the mean time there was always the matter of finding something to take back with her to feed to the young girl.

No matter how insular and thick her fur, she wasn’t sure she would ever get used to this temperature. It was snuggling weather, and not a soul in sight. Never had she heard a greater tragedy. Her paws crunched lightly on the white terrain, and her breath steamed before her muzzle. The falling ruin was the easiest landmark to spot from where she had risen in the morning. It was no surprise that her path lined her up to explore the outer edges of the crumbling architecture.

The spot of purple as it moved down from the wall caught her eye. It was only a fleeting movement, and then the creature was out of view. Uncertain if was an interesting type of prey, or another wolf to socialise with, the woman perked up. Feet raised high as she trotted towards the spot in the wall the purple had vanished.

She surveyed the uncertain foundation for a moment, and then leaped forward. Her claws digging into the rough surface and finding purchase, hauling herself up and across the top. Now she was in the very spot the purple creature had vanished from. Looking down, she spotted it. Another wolf. Keetie sat, her tail sweeping dust behind her as she grinned as raised a paw in greeting. “Hello, hello”

She hadn't gone more than a few feet before she heard the distinct crunching of paws moving through the snow behind her, steadily getting louder and making it obvious that whoever or whatever it was were coming toward her. The violet woman paused her steps and turned to face the decrepit wall she had just walked away from just in time to see a lovely blue-marked woman hop up on to wall where she had once been standing. Her white marked brow lifted in surprise at the sudden appearance of the stranger, but she certainly wasn't opposed to meeting someone new in this strange place. "Hello to you as well," she called back with a grin as she made her way back to where the woman was, her tail swinging gently behind her slender frame. "This is a pleasant surprise." Her voice was naturally melodic and pleasant as she spoke, clearly pleased that her moment of being alone had ended.

Her gaze briefly drifted across the woman's form, taking in all of the stunning markings that make it appear as if someone had managed to take a shooting star from the sky and replicate it on to her fur. "You're the first wolf I've met in this place... Is everyone around here stunning as you?" she questioned with a smirk, her turquoise gaze sparking with amusement. Of course she had no way of knowing if this stranger would be receptive to her advances, but that had never stopped her before. Allowing her gaze to drift from the stranger for a moment, she nodded her head toward the mostly empty and frigid tundra around them and asked, "Is it always this... arctic here?"

Her smile only blossomed as her greeting was returned in force. A warm welcome was always appreciated. She held her lofty position above the other wolf a moment longer, and then carefully navigated her way down. Hopping to the snow on Manea’s side of the wall, and stopped a very short distance away from the other wolf. The purple girl - usual for Keetie - stood a couple inches taller than the star-marked wolf.

She moved her head close to the other woman in a friendly greeting, and chuckled huskily at the questions. “Other than yourself? I did run into a handsome hulk - which also leads me to the answer to your second question. It was cold enough to freeze a new path at the very tip of the North here. I’ve just come from there - we tried to traverse it, but the bitter wind kept us away. I would say this weather is most unusual” she explained, thinking of that slippery ice bridge and her numerous almost-tumbles into the frigid water.

She brought her gaze back to her new acquaintance as she made a graceful leap into the snow beside her, grinning softly as she enjoyed the dual tones of the other woman's eyes. Her grin widened when she caught the subtle return of her complement, making her chuckle softly. Her attention was diverted to the tale she was told of a strange ice path that had only appeared recently at the very tip of the north. It did at least confirm that this was the northern part of this continent and let her know that this weather wasn't the norm for this area. Perhaps it was worth exploring a bit more and getting a better lay of the land then. At the very least it let her know that she shouldn't write off this whole area as a complete loss. As much as she was willing to travel as long as it took to find somewhere perfect to set up their new home, she did grow tired of it as well. The sooner she found a suitable home the better off they would be.

"Well, I'm happy to hear that this is unusual weather. Maybe I'll stick around after all - especially with beautiful women and handsome hunks around," she responded with a smirk. The attractiveness of its residents couldn't be a real factor in her decision of where she would put down her roots, though she'd be lying if that wasn't at least a slight factor in her intrigue. She would have to settle on a partner of some kind eventually as well so it had to play into the decision in some form or another. "I'm Manea, by the way... What should I call you?"

Once the answer to her inquiry was received, she turned back toward the path along the wall she had begun before she was stopped by her own curiosity in the woman that was now standing beside her. With a tip of her horned head toward the direction in question she asked, "Would you like to walk with me for a bit? With as uninspiring of a landscape as this is I could certainly use the company."

Keetie loved to be the star of the show. She felt the other wolf's attention on her, and dipped gracefully closer to the dark coated wolf. Moving like a dancer on a stage as she stopped close enough for her breath to stir the others' coats. Her blue-fringed tail swished lightly behind her, occasionally batting against the side of the other wolf on the longer swings.

Lorikeet laughed softly, very pleased to hear that this wolf could admire both sides of the coin. Beautiful women and handsome hunks indeed. “Well, hello Manae, I’m Lorikeet, but you can call me Keetie”

“I couldn’t think of anything I would rather do.” she agreed, flicking her tail against the purple wolf one more time before aligning herself with the path also.

Manea was enjoying the grace that Lorikeet moved with - and the fact that the woman didn't seem to mind the attention of her wandering gaze. The blue emblazoned woman was quick to close the distance between them and Manea welcomed her at her side, feeling her breath against her cheek and her dark tail brushing against her thigh on the occasion that it happened to give a wider swing. The other woman had certainly sparked her interest if nothing else and a small smirk pulled at her lips as she leaned a bit closer so her shoulder would brush against Lorikeet's. It had been a while since she had indulged in another woman's presence like this. Perhaps she'd get the chance to today if this lovely wolf continued to humor her.

She chuckled softly and grinned when Lorikeet insisted that there was nothing she'd rather do when offered the chance to walk with her along her path. "Wonderful," she replied in kind, her own tail swinging to brush against the back of her new companion's leg as well. She gave the woman a glance with amusement and intrigue shining in her aqua gaze, catching her dual tones of sapphire and topaz before she returned her attention to the drab world around them. "If I were to head in another direction after I leave here, which would you suggest? Any place you particularly enjoy?" She gave Lorikeet a curious glance at her question, not so subtly keeping herself close enough that occasionally their sides would brush together as they walked. "I'm looking for a new place to call home so I don't want to miss any potential options... If you happen to frequent there that would certainly be a bonus." She grinned toward the later part of her statement. Always the flirt.
