Naiche hadn’t spoken with Mojito since they fought those giant wolves.  He should have done so sooner but it was always pushed off.  It wasn’t that he didn’t want to meet with Mo but, Naiche was very good at keeping busy.  Work was a thing he enjoyed and was very dedicated too.  The truth also struck though he hadn’t spent any time offering Mo time in training either.  Both things should be considered.  What didn’t need to be considered were his feelings towards Asla and whatever she felt in return.  That definitely didn’t need to be considered. The golden-hued wolf had finished patrolling and set off to find Mo.  The dog deserved to be told he’d done a good job.  Naiche should also really get to know him better.  He really only knew minimum details about him, including how he felt about Asla.  He had been promoted to trauma specialist and a novice in fighting.  Naiche really couldn’t think of much more than that. Naiche wore his polar bear cloak around his neck and his pangolin, Pan, was underneath so it was mostly just the clawed hands and face that were visible, peeking out around the neckline where the hood had been pulled back. "Naiche"

Mojito had taken it upon himself to start moving into the cottage now that summer was tentatively promsing warmer weather and keeping a garden seemed actually viable. But first came clearing out all the old unusable items. He and Hoa were seperating the items they found in the structure into piles, those items he felt were likely to be useful and those that weren't. It was a slow process and required them to carry several items outside to clear up more space.

It was on one such trip that he spotted Naiche, he gave the man a polite nod before dropping his bundle on the ground, and turning to Hoa to grab more of the items the sheep carried on his back. He didn't exactly know much about the yellow man, though his involvement with Alsa wasn't exactly easy to miss. The man carried her scent more often than not... and though Mojito was doing his best to not be jealous, something he knew he had no right to be, it wasn't exactly easy to control his emotions.

But that didn't mean he bore the other man any ill will... he knew who Asla was and by his estimation, any man lucky enough to have her attention was probably pretty alright. (Notably, Mojito had no inkling of her feelings for her brother, lest his estimation of her ability to pick mates be drawn into question.)

A sheep for a pet?  Well, better than a monkey he’d once met probably.  Naiche imagined having a sheep for a pet but could only imagine it becoming a meal at some point in time.  Naiche paused once close enough for relaxed conversation.  Pan pushed his way up higher up once they were stopped so that his head was slightly above Naiche’s own head,  clawed hand giving a downward wave in silent greeting. “Hello Mojito,” Naiche spoke up with a sort of polite formality. His gaze went to the piles the two were making.  “I wanted to thank you and say good job in regards to the fight we had a while back with those giant beasts.” After a moments pause adding with curiosity, “So, what is it your up to with all this?”  Naiche had thought of suggesting some fight training but if the dog was already in the middle of something that would take a while Naiche would just set up a later time.  The giant wolves were a reminder they had to all keep sharp on their lessons. "Naiche"

Despite himself the young man couldn't help but smile as he spotted the little creature waving down at him. He gave Naiche a nod as he was offered a greeting. "Naiche." He said, his tone polite, even if a little too much so. He shook his head at the indication of gratitude. "I have a duty to protect this pack too." He turned to grab a few more thing from Hoa before shooing the sheep back into the cottage, he would stay out here and just take what Hoa brought him.

"Asla mentioned her aunt used to keep a garden here, and since it's warming up I was hoping to try and make the space usable again... but we need to clean out what's left." Mojito gestured towards the pile of items, most of it was debris or herbs that had gone bad in the time they'd been left untended. A thought entered his mind and Mojito looked up at Naiche suddenly running a cursory gaze over him, a hint of worry entering his tone as he spoke again. "Do you need my help with anything?"
