The past two months she has been resting, resting as she now had carried life inside her, and thus she did her best to be careful not to risk their lives. Passive in everything she did, still doing her duties but with less frequency as the pregnancy kept going. Casso was a big support for her, feeling safe under his watch and whenever they were born she was sure her mate would be there for her. She loved him more than her own life. Today as she rested in their den, she felt in peace until a sharp pain took over her nerves. Feeling her back legs shaking. And as an experimented healer she knew those were the sign of soon entering in labor. A whip escaped her jaws as the main started to increase. It was time, her children were coming. She was sad that they were being born in a harsh world, in a world where they werent owners of their own lives,under Ignis' wrath. But she was sure that even if she would die of fear, she would give her life for them and Casso. "speak"

Casso was already protective and possessive of Yurei in their normal day to day lives, but as soon as it came to light that they were going to be parents he barely ever left her side. He watched over her and brought her everything she needed, keeping her company and doting on her how she deserved to be. Whenever she did leave their room he went with her and helped her with whatever task she was doing and the only time he went anywhere without her was when he went out to hunt. It was still so hard to wrap his mind around the fact that they would be parents. He was going to be a father and she was going to be a mother. Slowly he watched her stomach grow larger and larger with their children and he would lay with her at night with his cheek gently resting on her stomach, feeling the pups move against his touch. He was just out getting a quick meal for them, just a few arctic hares to share, and when he was coming back to their room he heard her whine and immediately rushed in, dropping the hares off to the side as he turned to her worriedly. He could see the pain she was in and he didn't have to ask what was wrong, he already knew. Their pups were coming. Excitement mixed with his nervousness and worry as he dipped his head to nuzzle her cheek encouragingly. "Just tell me what you need, my love. I'll help with whatever you need." Being around her as much as he was he had more or less at least learned the names of herbs even if he didn't exactly know what they did or how to use them so he could at least fetch things if she named them for him or if she just needed his support then he could be that for her too. "Yurei's Speech" | She felt scared, in fear to whatever could happen. Being a healer, she knew the risk that births always carried, risks that even could threaten her own life. But with Casso by her side, the fear started to lose strength, not completely but good enough to focus. She looked at his eyes for a moment, just to feel like she could lay on him, find support from his loving embrace. She remembered all the experience she had gotten in the past years, from attending births, and all she needed was something to bite on and calm down. "I need to breath... don't worry love..." And there she began her labor, labor when their lives were about to change, to change for good. -fade- Panting heavily and with pain, she was done. With three healthy pups feeding by her, small, helpless they seemed quite like the combination of both parents. Tears escaped her eyes, feeling like this was a dream.
