Naiche felt a bit better after his first victory granting him some satisfaction and pride to soothe his frustrations for at least a little while.  When it was his turn for the second fight he moved forward to spot Duncan as his newest contestant.  Duncan who had been part of the armada with him and Duncan who had left the armada.  That was both a perk in his favor and one against it.  It was good to see an old packmate but Naiche didn’t believe in leaving the pack you join.  Sirius had accepted it though so he had to accept Duncan’s decision also.  Right now it didn’t matter anyway.  Right now Naiche was going to have fun doing his best to tear into Duncan. “Hello, Duncan,”  a formally polite greeting. “Here I come,”  the warning a soft rumble that Naiche hadn’t needed to give but a bit of courtesy for someone he had once shared pack with.  Naiche ran towards the larger wolf and once more went for a technique Naiche had felt successful for him when fighting larger opponents.  Naiche fought larger wolves more often than small so he was well-practiced on it.  Naiche came forward as if to attack head to head but at the last moment, he would pivot away from Duncan, going out wide then quickly back towards the larger wolf but with the aim to attack a back leg.  Naiche would attempt to bite the leg, give it a solid jerk hoping to throw Duncan off balance, and let go to avoid a return attack.  That was the plan at least.  Time to see how much better Duncan had got. Dunkan moved to his next fight after defeating the other male. His eyes were blank from any emotion as he didnt feel in a way or another after wining his first fight. He was here just to have fun, if that could be called fun to fight. But for the Knight every fight, for practice or not was an opportunity to train and test where he was in terms of skill. If there was something wrong or if he lost he would just work harder to fix the flaws he could find during a match. He found out his next opponent was Naiche. A wolf he met way ago, back when he was of The Armada, and in their first fight, he lost. Back then he was still immature, a boy. And he wondered how he would do now, fully grown and hopefully more mature in thinking and ways of seeing things. Ears pinned as tail tucked to protect it from being a target and to also cover his privates. Naiche was trustworthy but no one could never know, and even less after a long time of not seeing him. But well, he heard Naiche's speech but not answering, Dunkan was a man of actions, more than speaking more than he should and as the fight started he was one hundred percent focused on the fight. Ignoring and suppressing any emotions that could obstacle his critical thinking. Quickly Naiche rushed his way but doing a circular approach aiming for his back leg. Quickly he aimed to move his rear a bit to the opposite side where Naiche was going for then attempting to slam his thig hopefully against Naiche's open jaws, wanting to hopefully use Naiche's momentum against himself. He knew he would end up with a wound but he didn't care. If he was successful he would then turn to bite on Naiche's left side of his face. Naiche’s jaw was already sore from a skull shoved into it.  Needless to say when he felt Duncan’s thigh bash into his muzzle the pain came with somewhat extra intensity.  Pain caused anger and anger caused fast and harsh action.  Naiche would aim to chomp down hard and fast on the thigh that had just slammed into him, anger adding to the pressure. Duncan’s muzzle was swinging at Naiche even as he turned his attention from the leg to incoming jaws.  It would be a test of who was faster.  Naiche attempted to move his head back and snap his own jaws around Duncan’s muzzle.  If he was faster that should stop Duncan’s bite and score a solid blow, if he was wrong then there would be no avoiding Duncan’s bite.   For the moment this wasn’t some past pack mate or concerns over being a tournament, this was the enemy who would be destroyed.  Pain and honor dictated Naiche made sure the wolf in the match with him submitted. Apparently his counter attack worked but it quickly made things go beyond a simple tournament spar. And soon, Naiche bite hard on his thig, blood coming down his leg surprisngly doing so heavily, he didnt understand. He wasnt attempting to harm the other, but perhaps Naiche took it personal and now he had to drive through a brutal wolf seemingly looking for destroying him. But he didnt want to be savage when this was just a fucking spar, and he wasnt one to lose his judgment that quick. And as Naiche's jaws aimed for his, he aimed to move to his left,hopping to avoid the bite but he still got contact from Naiche's fangs, driving now a big bloody wound on his muzzle. Trying to ignore the pain he attempted to rush to the golden wolf's left to try bitting on the side of Naiche's neck, but not bitting hard enough to break the skin, just to have a firm grip.
