Siren didn’t leave the island very much, but with the almost summer like temperatures the girl had taken advantage of the warmth to gather herbs. She was no master healer but she was self teaching and learning as she went. There were things she knew a lot about and others that she needed help with. Cicero taught her quite a bit, but she needed a real teacher. Her mind strayed too far, she was content with her current level of skill. She could make do because she didn’t want to disrupt the balance. Their island was peaceful and quiet, she could even endure Viper’s proximity. That was easy when she had Dalila taking care of her. Siren wasn’t sure that there could be a more perfect fit for her. The woman was smart, hard working, and she obviously cared about Siren. A quality Siren was beginning to share. How could she not when they spent all of their days together?
The thought of Dalila waiting on her to get home so she could brush her brought a smirk to Siren’s pale features as she picked her way through the brambles. Siren continued to skirt disaster as she frequented bramble thickets. The thorns liked to drag through her long coat and stick in her fur but the game trails here were easily traversed. She hoped to find some rarer herbs where other wolves couldn’t get so easily. The small tunnels in the brambles and they ill frequented areas were where Siren spent most of her time. The day was spent gathering and clipping alone, like much of her life was beyond Dalila.
She had no friends or confidants beyond the mottled woman, Siren wasn’t complaining. She also had Chimera, the wolf she could always rely on to be there for her, but they didn’t have much in common. She was content with her lot, protected by Chi and loved by Dalila. Spending her quiet afternoons gathering herbs in the dappled sunlight alone. Birds sang in the foliage above, and Siren felt at ease. The briars were so much like her island home. The girl continued, dainty paws carried her over well worn trails to a small clearing. There was a small stream and a fresh moss blanket, a perfect place to rest. Siren relaxed next to the stream, her long fur cascaded over the mossy stones and her pack rested by a small tree that shaded the grove. She crossed her paws and lowered her head over top of them like a proper princess, deciding she deserved a small nap during the lazy afternoon.

There was very little to tend to today. Oxx had prepped the skin of his dearly departed mother and now waited for the pelt to dry so that it would be ready when he needed it. Pity about the big tears across the spine, but he could make those work. Just needed to find someone that knew how to sew. With nothing else to do, Oxx did what he normally did. He walked. He explored. He learned the land. Eventually he came to a wall of thorns. The paths leading within were too narrow for his bulk, so he set about finding another way inside. Walking the perimeter, the massive brute noticed a stream cutting through. They were no longer in the clutches of winter's cold, so it would make the perfect path. The waterway wasn't terribly deep at all and reached to his heels at the deepest parts. Oxx moved up the stream and into the forest of thorns. Surely there was some sort of treasure tucked away in this fortress. The treasure revealed itself halfway through his trek. Oxx glanced to the side, spying a little clearing only to see a tiny angel resting on a bed of moss covered stones. The constant babbling of the stream had muffled his approach and so the dainty fae stayed asleep. Normally, finding a woman in such a vulnerable position would rouse lecherous thoughts in the demon of a man, but there was something about her that beat those thoughts back. Perhaps it was the thin, glittering headpiece upon her crown. Perhaps it was the shafts of sunlight illuminating her pale frame. Whatever it was, Oxx was taken aback by her otherworldly presence. Oxx sat in the middle of the stream. He couldn't take his dark grey eyes off of the woman. She was so small; so fair. At this very moment, he would be content to sit and watch her sleep for all eternity. He would at least watch her until she woke. "Speech" |

Siren had drifted to sleep not so long after she lay her decorated features on her paws. The babbling of the brook calmed her and lulled her into easy dreams. Not that her dreams were eventful, she found herself in a peaceful meadow. The grass was bright green and a gentle breeze combed through her long fur. The sky was dull compared to the green of the grass, and even while dreaming Siren wanted to curl up and sleep. Just as she was laying her dream body down to sleep her dual toned eyes opened in reality. At first she wasn’t sure what woke her up, and she blinked back the fatigue of her nap before lifting her delicate features and looking around the clearing confused. That was when her glittering eyes fell on the massive man.
Surprise didn’t cross her features, she almost looked like she was expecting to see him. There was no strong premonition or vision, but a sense of familiarity along with his similar aura to her own Chimera’s. Maybe it was that fact that kept her so still and regal in the face of such an intimidating wolf. She blinked twice, saying nothing as he watched her, sitting in the stream. He’d been there for a while she assumed only because of how comfortable he made himself.
The girl’s regal head tilted curiously, but she dared not say anything lest this was a spirit come to confront her. Some spirits traveled by water, some couldn’t cross running water, but until he did or said something it was impossible to determine who he really was, and why his presence was so recognizable.

How long did he sit there and watch her? This tiny, wisp of a woman... Oxx was mesmerized by her appearance and the ease with which she slept. She reminded him of someone. Someone from long ago. What had her name been? The man could barely concentrate. All of his attention was on the tiny woman asleep on the moss. And then she wasn't asleep. The beautiful fae's eyes opened, the previously hidden orbs were dual toned and now Oxx was even more drawn to her. Those eyes... they seemed to suck him in, to beckon him forward. Without realizing it, Oxx had risen, water sluicing from his white, slate and black pelt. Giant paws moved his body forward and he was soon standing on the bank, still dripping river water. "Lady," he spoke in his low, growling purr. The dark grey eyes of the man rested on her face and Oxx once again found himself moving involuntarily. The behemoth settled himself on his stomach so that the dainty elf of a woman wouldn't have to strain her neck to look up at him. The giant, who was normally cocky, self centered and full of sarcastic words, was struck mute by her beauty and the strange sense of nostalgia that she made rise within him. "Speech" |

Siren was so quiet she barely breathed as he watched her, she didn't make it obvious how much she noticed his movements, the way her dual toned eyes caught the way his legs moved through the water. Like he wasn’t even thinking the man waded closer, his almost silvery gaze remaining on her dainty form. She did feel fear, but when faced with the spirits, or anything unknown, you didn’t show it. She didn’t fear a man, but she did feel frightened at incurring the wrath of a lost river spirit.
He addressed her with a simple word before lowering his massive frame to the stone and moss bank before her. Siren barely moved and barely breathed as she looked up at him through long lashes. ”Lord,” the princess returned with her light tones as she tilted her decorated features slightly. She offered reverence in case he truly was the divine water spirit she thought that he was. Siren was also hesitant about questioning him too, what did he want and why was he here. What use could he possibly find in her. Instead she remained silent, her eyes bright and despite her lack of vocal question it sat in the metallic pools of her eyes.

Oxx continued to watch her, his eyes widening slightly as she bestowed her first word upon him. Lord, she said. Her tones were sweet and soft. Softer even than the cream and caramel pelt that clung to her dainty frame. He was a slave to her dual toned gaze. Bright, glittering jewels stared down upon him and the behemoth was satisfied to stay within their sight. She was, without a doubt, the most beautiful woman that he had ever laid eyes upon. "Have the heavens parted and brought a seraph to my shores?" Oxx kept his tones to a low purr that was tinged with reverence. His normal cocky lyrics were washed downstream, leaving only eloquent devotion leaving his lips. "The gods must smile upon me to have allowed one such as I to gaze upon a being so breathtakingly beautiful." Deep grey eyes barely blinked as they stared upon her, afraid that if he did blink, she would disappear. He wanted to touch her. To see if she was real or some fantastic figment of his imagination. Never in all of his days had Oxx been struck low by beauty. Yes, there had been a plethora of pretty women, but this fae was worlds apart from them. He wanted her, or at least he wanted this. May this moment never end. May he be allowed to look upon the woman's shining visage always. "Speech" |

Hedidn’t rebuke her use of the title, which solidified the fact that she believed him to be spirit of this stream, or at the very least some kind of water deity. What denied him to visit her she didn’t know, but Siren didn’t lose the slight look of reverence as her dual toned eyes lingered on his form. A powerful spirit to be sure, he was massive and toned beneath the dappled fur. He spoke again and his deep voice had her lowering her ears to her skull and bowed her head nearly to her pretty pink paws. ”I am a mere mortal, my lordship.” She almost whispered, but didn’t want him to have to make her repeat herself because she was too quiet.
She didn’t expect the compliment, it was a compliment wasn’t it? She didn’t have much interaction beyond Dalila or Chimera, neither of which would just call her beautiful unless she asked. And Siren had never asked. She was not a vain creature, she braided her fur to keep it from tangling, she wore her tiara because it was a gift from Chimera. She put no extra effort into her appearance so to hear it praised brought a flush to her cheeks and her pink skin darkened.
Dual toned silver and blue eyes blinked up at him from her pale lashes, quiet as she didn’t wish to argue, ”Thank you, lord.” She returned softly, unsure how to react after such a flattering compliment, especially from a water spirit. ”What might I do to please you and the spirits?” She followed up softly, uncertain still why he would appear to her here.

The caramel furred angel corrected him, stating that she was a mere mortal. Oxx's dark eyes widened momentarily. "A woman so fair could never be a 'mere' anything. Touched by gods, I'm most certain." She was a living, breathing dream. Every moment that he stared at her was a gift. The woman was perfection. Every out of place wisp of golden fur, every shy glance of her mismatched eyes, the heat that tinged her pink flesh darker... It was all so very perfect. She thanked him for the compliments and questioned what she might do to please him and... the spirits? The gears began to turn and Oxx decided to play into what he believed the woman was getting at. "Let us touch you, fair lady. Let us know that you are real and not some glorious figment of our imagination." On his belly, Oxx crept a little closer. His eyes never left her beautiful face. Though he had been caught off guard and struck low by this lovely fae's beauty, Oxx's inner machinations were already putting together a plan. If she gave further indication that she did indeed believe that he was not a mortal, he would play into it until his last breath. He would give her a name that he had heard in stories from his mother when he was a child. He would become whatever water god this breath taking beauty needed. He would play into her beliefs and, in the end, he would claim her as his. "Speech" |

She couldn’t have any idea the danger she allowed herself in with a man like this before her. Siren was an innocent babe, there was little reason for her to believe this spirit of the river would harm her. Nor could she know the things he had done before these moments together. All the young Klein princess knew was that he was showering her in compliments that she wasn’t even sure how to take. The blush lingered on her delicate features and her shy gaze shifted from his eyes, to his serrated teeth, to his paws as he crawled closer to her. His stare was intense and the humble child couldn’t keep her gaze locked with a spirit’s.
He told her what was desired of her. Just a touch, a reassurance that she existed, that she was no mirage or trick of the mind. Could spirits be fooled like that? Perhaps they could if he didn’t think her laying here at his feet was his own concoction. Caramel ears pinned to her skull and she lowered her chin, a physical manifestation of the nerves bubbling beneath her skin. The spirit of the river wished to touch her?
"As you wish.” Her voice was a soft whisper, like a melodic breath. Siren could scarcely breathe with his presence so close, his huge presence and great power. Despite being on his belly the massive man still towered above her. The girl still didn’t comprehend what a great water spirit could need or desire from a small delicate she wolf like herself. Then again she couldn’t claim to know the minds of gods or spirits.

The woman gave yet another elegant rosying of the cheeks and Oxx felt his desire soar. She was too pure. Too perfect. To look upon the caramel cream fae was to look upon the very gods themselves. And yet it seemed that she believed he was the deity here. It was all too funny and, thanks to Oxx's sense of humor, he got the joke. As the fae's delicate vocals met the ears of the lecherous man, the excitement almost made his teeth chatter. Once prostrate before her, the giant lifted himself to his full height, towering over the minuscule, dainty woman. "And the name that goes with such mind bending beauty?" Oxx's voice was a soft rasp as he closed the distance between them, his steps slow so as not to spook the woman. She had given him permission. It was something that he rarely asked for. Had she denied him, he would have listened, so enraptured was he by her beauty. As he stood before her, looking down upon her diminutive frame, one massive paw lifted and extended towards her. Oxx's toes flexed and his claws curled inward as he fought his baser urges. How easy it would be to rip this seraphim to shreds. To consume every piece of her body so that he would forever be blessed as being the last creature alive lucky enough to see her. Oxx felt his throat tighten and his teeth clench as he imagined her flesh and blood sliding down his throat into the awaiting cavern of his stomach. The heavens would open and angels would sing as he devoured her. In the end, Oxx's paw loosened and, rather than bring the woman to his awaiting jaws, he gently cupped one delicate golden cheek. Still playing the part, Oxx gasped lightly. "You are no figment of my imagination but a real flesh and blood fae." There was wonder in his voice, but it was all for show. And then, feeling adventurous, he used that same paw to tip the fae's muzzle upwards. Oxx claimed her lips with his own, his dark eyes narrowing to paper thin slits as he slid his tongue into her maw. "Speech" |

She knew the power behind his eyes, could see the wild way they glittered in the low light and the soul that could hardly be contained behind them. This was a great spirit, she should be trembling beneath his gaze and she very nearly did. The way he looked at her she could see the admiration but more so the gaze of a true predator beneath. Like if she moved the wrong way, or denied his request, she would be eaten alive right here. That feeling only intensified as he stood before her. Siren always knew the visions and dreams she had were influenced by the spirits around her, but they had never manifested like this before.
He reached out a paw to touch her and Siren forced herself to remain still. His huge form and close presence made her heart stop and catch in her throat along with her shallow breathing. "Siren Primrose Klein.” She gave him the full extent of her name as he closed the last few paces between them. Siren couldn’t help but look up at him, even from her pedestal he towered over her. In reality she was at the mercy of this divine being, and yet he seemed to be the one in awe of her. "What may I call you, Lord?” She asked, her voice breathless now as he stood before her.
Carefully he lifted his paw to grasp gently against her pale cheek, Siren didn’t flinch at his touch, but relaxed against him slightly at his soothing words. Siren was not lying to him, but she was no fairy either. Not that she could correct him as he took her breath away when he tipped her jaw upwards. She could feel the well controlled power he held bridled beneath and didn’t resist as he pressed his lips to hers and stole not only a touch but a passionate kiss. A soft whine left her lips as he parted them, she was new to such an experience and innocent when it came to the more primal aspects of life. Her eyes widened in surprise but she relented to his will. How could she deny such a powerful water spirit?

"Siren," he repeated her name in a low, sensuous rumble as his pads stroked her cheek. The giant's dark, shark-like eyes bore into her own multi-hued orbs and he was lost within them. She was so absolutely stunning. More so than any woman that he'd ever seen alive or dead. When she asked his own name in turn, he almost gave it to her. Instead, his maw split into a grin and he purred, "Tiberius." Tiberius was the name of a well known river spirit from tales and fables. A story that he'd heard as a pup and a name that he'd heard on the lips of pirates and sailors alike. He hoped that this beauty before him knew the name as well. The giant's tongue slid through Siren's maw, tasting the saccharin sweetness of her. There was a massive tightness in his belly and he had to fight himself to keep from slamming her delicate frame down on the moss covered rocks and taking her right now. He would be patient. He would savor her sweetness. He would woo her, ensnare her. She would come to him willingly by the time that he was finished with her. With a low, growling groan, Oxx pulled back from the kiss, but he didn't go far. The 'river god' continued to stare into the pink and blue eyes of the fairy fae. His paw continued to slowly stroke her jawline. He had to leave or he risked losing the game. He risked ruining the experience that he was slowly building with this sweet, delicate woman. "When I call for you again... will you come to me?" He questioned her as he began to back away towards the river that had brought him to her. Not 'if' I call for you again; 'when.' He would find her wherever she went and eventually, he would have her. It was a good thing that the behemoth waded backwards into the water, for he was rather... excited. Just the thought of having the golden fae laid out beneath him was enough to drive him mad. "Listen for my call, oh fairy maid." He begged before turning and making his way back downstream and out of sight. "Speech" |

He was so close, Siren was overwhelmed with the primal scent of him. His sharp eyes seemed to tear right through her, just as intimidating as a water deity should be. As he stared dow at her he gave his name, and her eyes widened in surprise. She knew she heard that name numerous times over, one of the powerful water spirits. Come from this small stream just to touch her… She wasn’t so naive to think this was all that would be asked of her from the other realm.
Her heartbeat quickened, and she closed her eyes as he pressed his mouth to hers, his tongue filled her mouth and his grip tightened against her jaw. She whined softly, feeling her reprieve as the river god groaned and reluctantly pulled himself away. Siren blinked open her silver and delicate blue eyes as his gaze took them again. The predatory look had never really left him, and her skin felt ablaze where he caressed her cheek. He pulled away from her, backing from her form and returning to the water that he came from.
"Yes, Lord Tiberius.” She answered with a hesitant whisper as his paws returned to the water. And then he was gone.
