Mister Steal Your Sister

Romulus had been with the Hallows for a few months now, and his presence had definitely been known. Besides all of the time he spent daily with Lillith, he knew Ulric and Ezra were both keeping a watchful eye on him. They didn't trust him, and he couldn't exactly blame them, but it was getting old fast. He'd sparred with Ezra, knowing the boy was testing his mettle, and decided he was a nice enough guy; just looking out for his little sister, it seemed. But the rest of the Adravendi family had been surprisingly absent. He was sure he would have gotten a few more death threats from some of the other members, but they kept to themselves, it seemed. In fact, all of the Hallows was fairly quiet, reserved, and peaceful. It was a stark contrast to the family dynamic he was so used to.
The afternoon sun shone brightly across Auster, warming the lands as if it were spring instead of autumn. Romulus paced slowly along the borders of Hallowed territory, keeping his eyes, ears, and nose alert for any signs of predators, intruders, or other sorts of dangers. His patrol had gone entirely uneventful so far. Lillith had remained back in the castle, recuperating from another exciting day of training and activities together. His coat still smelled of sea salt from their swim in the sea and traces of sand dotted his legs. He, however, still had his duties to complete, and as he rounded along the eastern border near the forests, Roman was already starting to get bored. He still had a whole circuit to complete though! He sighed and continued on, hoping his patrol would go by fast enough so he could go back to doing fun things.
"Romulus Armada"

Serenity had seen a lot up from the wall of the castle. She spent nights up there usually unless the weather was bad. She spent more time up there than the room she had claimed to make Ulric a little more content with her being apart of the family. And aside from doing patrols, hunting when needed, being nearly a mercenary for The Hallows, the wall was where she spent all of her time.
Wolf watching was her past time, especially while she wanted to stay so secluded from the others. She couldn't quite hear conversations from up on her look out, but sometimes the murmuring. Watching them, it made her feel connected to them. Or like she knew them. She knew that wasn't all true though. Maybe she just felt better observing the wolves of The Hallows since she wasn't quite out there with them. It was almost the only way she 'knew' them.
She had spotted Lillith and Romulus from along the wall, though the beaches were far enough away that she had trouble making out who it was in the waters. She didn't loom over them though, that was a little weird after all. She already had enough weird stalking everyone from the overview. She had let some time pass, a lot of time, before she ventured down the tower and out of the castle. She had followed the boy's scent, or more like the scent of the ocean and wet fur and found him on the patrol around the boarders. She approached him from his side, a gentle and cheeky grin, "Evening. Uh, noon? Whatever." She shrugged her shoulders, stopping only if he did but didn't mind walking along the patrol with him either. "Hope you don't mind some company." She may have seemed rather blunt and forceful, but he kind of needed to get over it if Serenity was going to put on a roll as the big sister.

Romulus heard her approach before she even spoke, his navy-tipped ears flicking to catch the sound of paws rustling through grass headed his way. He turned to affix Serenity with his steel-silver eyes, a little surprised by the sudden appearance of the girl, but not unwelcoming to her presence. She grinned at him, offered a greeting that was only slightly awkward, then asked if she could join him. Roman gave her a small smirk. "I think evening works best. And not at all, it helps make the walks less boring." He didn't stop when she had approached, but had slowed his gait to allow her to catch up before returning to a leisurely pace around the perimeter of Hallowed lands. The evening was warm and mild, with a gentle breeze rustling through the leaves of the nearby forest. Crickets and other nocturnal insects had begun their nighttime chorus while the sun slowly set, turning the sky from bold oranges to muted purples and blues.
He glanced back over to the pretty fae that had joined him. He'd seen her around the castle, though she mostly kept to herself. He thought he'd seen her spending most of her time with Lillith and her other siblings though, so perhaps she was an Adravendi from an older litter? "Felt like stretching your legs a bit, or maybe enjoying some night air?" he asked, trying to make small talk to otherwise fill the quiet of the encroaching evening. Something told him this young woman had come to him with a purpose, and he was sure it would reveal itself soon enough so long as he played patient and coy.

They started back onto the patrol at a stroll, somewhat in a silence but it didn't go on for long before he asked her if she was really out here for any reason. "Well, yeah I guess either of those." She stated warmly, she was friendly in tone almost all the time. Her laid back attitude is usually what made other wolves comfortable. But she also knew her more outward personality was or could get annoying. "I'm probably a little late to the party." She confessed, her own smirk and raised eyebrow as she side eyed him before her gaze went out to the borders ahead of them. "But uh, whatever the other ones have threatened you with, imagine worse." Her tone was more joking, but of course as Lillith's sister, older sister at that, it was a little more serious than she put out. "Serenity." She introduced herself with a nod still in that easy smile along her jaws.

Ah, yep, there it was! The passive threat of bodily harm if he were to hurt Lillith. Serenity was indeed one of the silver and snow fae's sisters. A crooked grin split his lips as he breathed a low chuckle and rolled his eyes. "Are all you Adravendis so overbearing with one another, or is it just with Lil?" he asked back with a touch of sarcasm, razzing Serenity back as much as she was teasing him. He just hoped she could take it as good as she gave it—actually, he hoped she could give it a little better. Romulus spoke sarcasm fluently, and he didn't want her to get the wrong impression from his sense of humor.
"Romulus. You can call me Roman." He dipped his head back to her in return. He glanced over to Serenity to really take her in for a brief moment. She had pretty eyes—it seemed all the Adravendi wolves had unique eyes—but the emblazoned rubies set in Lillith's lovely face still held the top spot in his mind. "So did you really run all the way out here from the castle just to threaten me? Boy, you must really think I've got something scandalous going on with your sister," he asked with a laugh under his breath.
