Jynn was intrigued by Bowen's description of the castle as a big den with little smaller dens inside it. Her experience of a den had only been a cavern dug into the dirt. She agreed that seeing the castle then crashing for the night sounded good. As they neared the courtyard Jynn's jaws dropped open at the strange structure. Past a wrought iron fence lay huge stone turrets and walls, stretching up into the night sky. The full moon shed its light down on the structure. The focal point seemed to be a fountain with a statue of a sitting wolf. Water spilled from its mouth into the pool below. Through out the courtyard were trees, grass and plants. Vines grew up along the structures walls, nearly to the top. "Wow, this in incredible! Did you guys make this?"

Seeing the wonder on Jynn's face as they approached the immense stone structure brought a smile to Bowen's face. The leggy fae had to scamper about and inspect everything and Bo waited while she did so. The copper and ivory woman had been equally as impressed the first time that she had laid her green eyes upon the castle as well. It was huge, impressive, overwhelming. It was home. Or at least it used to be. Bowen still didn't feel comfortable trapped within its walls. She hoped that in time she would become acclimated once more. As Jynn questioned her about whether or not the pack had built the castle, Bo grinned, giving her head a shake. "No, we didn't build it. My mother found it and turned it into a home for all of us." With a pull of her shoulder, Bo motioned for Jynn to follow her inside. Pushing through the doorway that hung slightly agape, Bo led her friend into the castle. In the huge main hall, a fire danced merrily in the hearth, washing everything in a pleasant, golden glow. "Bowen"

Jynn's excitement dulled the ache in her paws and she bounded back over to Bowen as the girl explained that her mother had found it and turned it into a home. "I kind of wondered about that. Some of the structure makes me think of other human dwellings. Though I wonder why they have a statue of a wolf and not one of their own kind." Unless humans really did look like wolves. Boy, wouldn't that be something!

She trotted after Bowen into the main hall where a fire was going and warming up the room. Jynn wandered toward it, holding up her paws to warm them a little. "This is really an impressive find. Does the whole pack live in here?" Jynn's voice was lowered. She was aware that if there were other wolves in here they might be sleeping.

Jynn's question about the fountain was an intriguing one and Bowen looked at the fountain for a long moment. "Maybe whoever made it just really liked wolves?" Who wouldn't? Wolves were the top species in the world. They were stronger, more intelligent, hardier than any other beasts in the land. Bowen could understand other being admiring her species. The fire drew her friend forward and Bowen moved along with her, also soaking up a bit of warmth from the blaze. "Most of the pack lives here, yes. Some keep dens out on the grounds, but most are in here. Each has their own room or a set of rooms. No one should hear us on this level though, so don't worry." Raising a paw, Bowen pointed in different directions. "Stairs lead up to the rooms, including the wing that my family claims. We have a larder to store food, a bath, an infirmary, a dun..." she had begun to mention the dungeon, but she didn't want to dampen the mood just in case Jynn didn't know what a dungeon was. Instead, she smiled. "There are loads of rooms." "Bowen"

Bowen reassured Jynn that the other wolves wouldn't hear them talking down here and she was glad that she could speak in her normal voice. She listened as Bowen explained where the stairs went and the number of different rooms. Jynn knew what a larder was and a infirmary but one of those words didn't ring a bell. She cocked her head to the side. "What's a bath?" The question left her mouth followed by a yawn. "Oh! Excuse me. Guess the day is catching up with me." She settled down in front of the fire, her tail wrapping around her. Now that she'd stopped moving it seemed like her body had finally started to override her mind in its quest for rest.

Jynn curled up in front of the fire and asked what a bath was. Bowen curled up beside her friend on the great bearskin rug before the hearth. A yawn pulled from her, but she answered. "A big stone pond inside where you can get clean." Not many wolves were eager to bathe, but Bowen didn't mind it. Especially when the water was heated over a fire first. Taking a warm bath was an experience that she had missed while she was away. You didn't often get a chance to bathe while on a ship. Bowen curled into a little ball, using her tucked forelegs as a pillow. The girl's tail came around, brushing her own cheek. Soon, her blinks were becoming longer and longer. Eventually, she stopped blinking. Deep, restful sleep claimed her. It had been a long, eventful day. "Bowen"
