She had kept to herself even more than usual since she was attacked, keeping herself deep in her work and caring for Rudyard to keep herself from having to face her own traumas. As they crossed over into winter she knew they would have to fulfill the tasks Ulric had assigned her, Avantika, Syanna, and Ezra as much as she didn't want to go through with anything involving a large group. All the same, she at least made herself useful and put herself with the group that would be planning for the feast and decorating the main hall so she wouldn't have to leave the castle grounds. She gathered a few odds and ends around the castle to bring with her - most notably a long roll of pale fabric that she thought could maybe be draped across something to add some decorative appeal to the space. Once everyone they had planned on working on this portion of the festivities had gathered in the feast hall she sat back to look at the supplies they had gathered on one of the long tables.

With the pair of long tables that ran the length of the room and the one shorter table on the raised platform on one side of the room it was a pretty plain room to work with. The only thing really of interest was the colorful stained glass windows that were spaced out along the wall above the head table. "Anyone have anything they would like to do in particular?" she asked just to get the ball rolling, reaching forward to shuffle through some of the plants and flowers the group of healers that had gone out a couple of days prior had gathered.

With the upcoming festivities, Dunkan was hoping to help getting everything settled for it. He was a fighter but it didn't meant he couldn't do other things to help his pack. And he liked to organize stuff and plan. He was both a tactician and a warrior and he was to be ready to aid in anyways not only with his jaws. Eyes of blue rested into Gywn's form as she asked them for what they would do. He took his time to evaluate what could be done. Perhaps he could aid with the adorn the table and halls with anything that could fit to the occasion.

"Ill decorate the table and other places. What adorns would you like to see? Flowers? Stones?" Anything was fine with him. All was for The Hallows.

Avantika was worried about Rudy. He was unconscious at the moment and had been since getting hit by a bear. He was alive. But she had never wished more that she was a healer, so she didn't just have to mill idly around, unable to do anything to help. But since she wasn't, she had to keep herself out of the way. In times of stress, like when Resin passed away, she'd found herself collapsing into her patrols. She was doing that now, walking and trotting long stretches of the border, taking as much of a break as she could bear, and then going again. Her worries kept her awake if she didn't make sure to be exhausted when she went to bed. But she had something else to do today. She was okay with that, although the thought of having to interact with a whole group of people was a slight damper. She also isolated herself when stressed. But it was just Gwynevere, Dunkan, Sota, Serenity, and Deion. Not really her close friends, and a few she didn't know very much at all, but a small enough group that she could make it through alright. Gwynevere asked what everyone would like to do. Dunkan volunteered himself to decorate the table. Avantika didn't particularly care what she did, but she glanced at the stained glass windows with interest. "I could work on decorating around the windows?" she suggested. "Speech"

Serenity secluded herself most of the time, but she seemed more social in the presence of others even if she felt her nerves stinging under her skin. She had met most of the wolves here, Dunkan, Avantika, Sota. But she was okay with meeting the ones she hadn't particularly met yet too. She wanted to make Ulric proud, she wanted to blossom more into the pack and feel like a reliable member to those around her. So she wouldn't refuse to give the help when asked.

Gwynevere had gathered them and asked if there was anything particular the individual wolves wanted to work on. "We can grab some rugs to place along the floor on each side here, and line the outside of them in bouquets and other decorations."

The upcoming feast sounded like fun and Sota was glad to help prepare, doing whatever he could for The Hallows. He was hardly one of the best hunters in the pack and he knew he wouldn't be terribly helpful in that regard. Fortunately for them all he'd been assigned to help clean up and decorate the dining room for the rest of the pack. "I can decorate near the doorway, I think," Sota spoke up after the others suggested what they'd like to do. It'd be the first thing everyone saw when coming inside - it was the least he could do to make it look nice for everyone as they came inside! It looked like there was plenty of materials they could use and Sota took a leap onto one of the chairs to get a better look at the decorations and begin to brainstorm how he could use them in a creative manner.

Gwynevere looked around as everyone started to chime in with their claims of what they could work on or where they would like to decorate. Duncan volunteered for tables, Avantika for windows, Serenity mentioned getting some rugs, and Sota offered the area around the doorway. She nodded in agreement to all of it and added in for herself, "I'll help you bring some rugs down, Serenity, and then I can help with getting things hung over the doorframes and windows, Sota and Tika." It seemed like everyone naturally found their own thing and the tasks got delegated really easily which she was thankful for. A leader and director she was not, but she was more than happy to lend a paw where it was needed. She pointed out some supplies that had been gathered so far and told them, "The other healers gathered some flowers we can use and I brought this roll of fabric down. Maybe you can use the fabric to drape across the tables, Duncan? I think there might be some more bowls and vessels in the storage room if any of you want to go look and see if there's some we can use to make arrangements in."

Once everyone had their tasks that they could divide and conquer on, she slipped away with Serenity to go gather a few of the long rugs that were laid out in the corridors upstairs. They could easily use them in the dining hall for the event and then put them back when they were done. She helped Serenity roll each of them up and then once they were rolled they could each carry one down across their backs. Unrolling them between the tables was just as easy and she had to admit that it did bring a nice bit of color to the space and dampen a bit of the echo the large room tended to have.

Decorating the dining hall might not be the most prestigious task but Sota was happy to help where he could. From his perched position he scanned the room, watching as the others went about their tasks. Some were tasked with bringing rugs from upstairs while others would work on decorating the tables and windows. He eyed the flowers that she gestured toward, remembering how enjoyable it had been to scatter flowers along the walkway in the courtyard. Draping fabric along the tables sounded like a nice idea too. With that Sota leapt down from his chair and headed over to the pile of decorations, gathering up an assortment of flowers before carrying them to the doorway. Once he got there he assessed his inventory before he got started, moving to the outside of the hall to spread some flowers near the edges of the doorway before working on the inside. He even spread a few flowers along the edges of the walls before heading back to the pile of decorations. He wondered if some might look good spread along the fabric Duncan was working on spreading out? He waited patiently for him to get the fabric spread out before he'd make his next move.

After Gywn gave everyone their tasks, Serenity turned to head up for the carpets she suggested. Seeing everyone getting ready to hustle around, the two women headed out of the room before heading upstairs for the supplies. When they arrived, they helped each other roll the rugs up and set them on their backs in order to take them downstairs. Serenity smiled at Gwyn with her help.

When they made it back, the others were working on their own tasks and decorations so Serenity turned to Gwyn, "I can roll them out if you set them down, then I'll get started on some bouquets for around the room." She went to unroll the first rug she had.
