Azure waited for the long, drawn out hours of partying to dwindle and die out and still he sat across the river and watched. Slowly wolves drunkenly stumbled from the woods and headed home beneath the cover of night and even the firelight faded and died out behind the weeping branches that made the canopy. The Armada heir did not leave his post until he was as sure as he could be that the adjoining woods were empty. Already their pack was in hot water with Fireside and the Pirates and Azure knew he could not trust himself to take the high road and silently leave should one wolf remain who'd mock and taunt him. His father wouldn't be pleased, nor would Hana. The woods were quiet, dark, and to the Pirate's credit well cleaned up after. Azure had dreaded walking back into his woods, afraid to find bowls and kegs and burned patches of woods. They'd sullied his favorite place, but at least they hadn't gone so far as to burn it down. A few doused sticks still shouldered in the snow - likely having fallen from their mobile firepit - and Azure stamped it out with a paw and sighed. "Speech"

Sparrow had been on her way away, but then she remembered that bracelet with the volcano rock that she had been given. She was still buzzed enough to bee feeling it, but not enough to encumber her movement. The party had been well cleaned after since most of the items were reusable or good enough bones to make something with later. She meandered into the party site again, humming to herself lightly as she tipped the last of a weaker alcohol into her mouth. Friar quickly took the empty bottle to see if he could save a drop or two for himself. Pongolo dozed on Sparrow's rump, head tucked beneath the wing. When she arrived, however, it seemed like there was still a straggling partygoer- or... No, that was clearly Armada's scent. Sparrow worked on sobering herself as she came over, being met with Azure's large frame in the middle of the party site. "Oh, it's you," she slurred a little before wiping her maw on her leg to clear it of any excess liquid. "Sorry you missed the party, but uh- you weren't invited." Sparrow was glad he came to check it out. She was glad the party gathered his interest enough to make him nose around after. She was glad he was alone. She took on a defensive stance, stamping her back foot to get the attention of her companions. "What, staying home with your girlfriend not good enough for you anymore? Gotta follow everything I do, huh? Or did she leave you already for someone else?" Suddenly she regretted not keeping some alcohol in the bottle to toss at him in hope that it would catch the stray sticks' embers.

Azure's ears pulled back in frustration at the immediately recognizable drunken drawl of Sparrow, of all wolves. He did not turn his head to see her, he merely continued kicking out the coals into the snow. The pirate had beaten him once, and ever prideful Azure needed to keep the appearance that he was not afraid, intimidated, or bothered in the slightest by her at his back. "Afraid I was too busy fucking my fiance to attend, regardless." He lied, voice level. "Just had to swing by and make sure you hadn't burned the whole forest down with your nonsensical gathering of idiots. Doubt your pirates nor Fireside would enjoy being blamed for that devastation." Her words on Hana brought him to grit his teeth, but he did his best to ignore the anger boiling deep within. Challenging her a second time could mean losing a second time, and Azure did not want anyone to have reason to say his first loss was anything more then a fluke or that the heir was merely having a bad day. Az turned toward her finally, eyeing her defensive posture. His eyes drifted through the hanging tree branches to the sky, but there was no sign of his flying companion. Lilith was likely patrolling the plains, and he'd lay money Bean was cuddled up with Hana asleep somewhere. He'd left his armor back at the den, and the only weapons he wore were those he was born with. This was not a fight he'd have liked to have. "Really now, you want to have a drunken brawl? I suppose it sounds pirate-like, but we can post-pone until you can probably walk a straight line, if you like." "Speech"

He was taliing, but honestly Sparrow was thinking so hard on more ways to insult him that she barely registered his words. "Blame me for all the devastation you like. In fact, if everything bad that happens to you from now on reminds you of me, I'll be happy." He asked if she really wanted to have a drunken brawl and Sparrow laughed, "I fight better when I'm drunk. Besides, I told another one of my girlfriends that I'd beat your ass next time I saw you since you and daddy dearest decided to threaten her with captivity and maim my cousin. An idea came to Sparrow and she shook herself again to sober herself a little before barking for her companions. "What if it's your freedom on the line? You obviously keep trying to steal my girls- I know, I have good taste- but what if someone comes to steal you away? Will you fall in love with them like Hana did? Should I test it out?" Sparrow sharpened her smile and kicked off after her rabbling was done. She aimed to ram him chest to chest, her jaws splaying open and aiming to snap over the tip of his muzzle before he could get those elongated teeth into her flesh. Her leg spurs flexed out and her cat claws tensed out as she aimed to pin his front paws with her own. Not quite as intimate as the kiss from last time, but it would do.

To Az's disappointment, Sparrow was not to be talked out of a fight. She mentioned her 'other girlfriend' and how she'd sworn vengeance on her behalf, and Azure's head tilted to the side in thought. After a moment his lips pulled back in a shit eating grin and he laughed. "Oh, the tiny one who was sneaking around my borders?" It was the only logical explanation - Sparrow's band had some form of Fireside alliance, and the male who his father fought had smelt of the pack. The not-quite-a-wolf female Az had taken down wasn't quite as skilled a combatant that the male was, but in the end the Fatalis' did win both fights. "A shame I didn't know, I would have fought harder to keep her, maybe I could have turned another one of 'your women'." Sparrow's intention was clear, and as she finished her speech she kicked off toward him with jaws wide. Azure saw it coming from the moment she slipped into her defensive stance, side stepping to his right as she came for him. Their first fight he'd underestimated the weight she had upon him and he would not do that again - brawling with her in close quarters was not ideal. As he'd stepped to the side he'd missed the brunt of the blow, though her chest did ram into his left shoulder. Her teeth came down upon him and with a quick arching of his neck he avoided having his muzzle contained, though her teeth did slash red rivets across his left cheek. One of her paws found it's purchase upon his own, though not the paw it was seeking. He made a remark about turning Jynn into another one of his women and she scoffed, "Yeah, ruining women's lives is what you do best." She managed to ram his left shoulder and to be honest it probably hurt her more than him. Her teeth found purchase upon his left cheek before they tore away from the flesh. Her paw hooked his other paw, though not the one she was aiming for. Oh well, she tried.  Before she had time to recoup, Azure slapped her across the face with his free paw. "Wow, rude!" she managed as she shook her head briefly. She took a step back and aimed to headbutt him forehead to forehead, hoping to knock him out and maybe even give him a concussion.

Sparrow managed to be offended at his slap and Azure let out a brief, breathless laugh as she took a step backwards from him. "My bad, I figured the whole 'don't hit women' thing went away when she waltzes around looking for warm holes and calling herself 'King'." Sparrow was winding up for another assault and Azure saw the forehead-butt coming before he had much time to react or dodge it. He pried his jaws open wide and lunged, aiming to meet her in the middle of her charge and perhaps secure a hold upon her muzzle before she could land the heavy blow upon his head. Azure was definitely not wanting to be knocked out a second time, but at least he could take comfort in knowing it wouldn't be a kiss that did him in in the end.
