Lia arrived at the meeting place, and looked about the sea of wolves with some surprise. Wow! There were a lot of wolves she hadn’t met yet. She found her Mistress settled in beside some siblings and other wolves, and considered stepping on some toes to find her way to the woman. Deciding against it for the moment - she could always hurry over if Briar signaled to her - she instead settled in near the outskirts.
Finding a white wolf(Dream) also near the outskirts, and not settled into any niches, she decided to make her way over. Offering him a friendly smile as she took a seat near him, nodding her head in greeting before turning her attention towards the Warlord

Theron's ears twitched at the sound of a call that beckoned him to a meeting. Slowly, he lifted himself to his paws, making a show of a stretch to no one before meandering his way over. He had a plan to be the last one there, nearly late but not enough to get punished for it. It was little acts of defiance like this that made him feel a bit better about his situation, even if they were more akin to a stubborn pup than a grown wolf.
Once he reached his destination, it was full of an audience of strangers. Theron felt unease creep up his spine as he found a place to sit at the edge of the crowd, his attention torn between the warlord who called the meeting and the sea of wolves he was sitting beside. He had never been a fan of big groups, but he was curious to see what this meeting could be about.

The Warlord leaned lightly against his Wife as they waited for the pack to appear. Azure a silent strength on his other side, a change - but a good one. The first to appear was Magnus, whos memories still had not returned to him. His presence in the Armada was a strange one, and Sirius would have to decide what he was to do about that wolf who had broken his rules and then forgot the entire incident. Grim was second to appear, and his young apprentice received a nod of silent greeting.
Hanako, pregnant with his grandbabies, received a grin, and a speculative eye to her belly. Hadn’t his son said he wished to marry the woman? That would need to happen sooner rather than later. Ophelia, less stinky and a little more energized appeared, and she received a silent greeting as well. Briar, who would be sorely missed when she reached adulthood appeared and received a creased smile. Sedna - who’s first act of approaching Hana did not go amiss - arrived next. Another of his children, his new blacksmith, so on and so forth until almost the entire pack was assembled before him. Each received acknowledgement from Sirius, and some of the absent wolves were no surprise to him. Their presence had been lacking for some time, and he knew now what he had guessed. They were missing from the Armada. Asla and Tira’s absences were forgiven considering their earth-shaking loss. Which made Satira’s appearance all the more impressive.
“Thank you all for coming,” the Warlord said, rising to his full height, his eyes drifting over the watching wolves. “If the last few days are anything to go by, I know trying days are ahead. Whatever comes, the Armada will pull together and find a way to persevere. With this in mind Azure and I will be approaching the Battlefield and summoning any Alphas that will attend; to share news and information vital to survival. If you have experienced anything worthy of passing on, please find me after the meeting.” Sirius knew every wolf would know what he was referring to. The shortened days, and constant presence of the moon were just the iceberg of what had started around them.
He gave that a moment to sink in, and then continued on. There was a great deal to cover in this meeting. “My son, Azure, has risen to leadership beside me. With the events surrounding us, his strength will be vital. Zee’s rank has not diminished, the leadership in the Armada has simply grown and morphed, to increase Azure’s load and decrease that of our Queen.” He informed the pack. Patting Zee’s paw with a silent gesture of love. “I would also like to go over some changes that the pack will be undergoing - my daughter, Briar, will be leaving us in the Summer to move to the Hallows and lead the pack beside Artorias.” he inclined his head in the direction of his daughter. “Aslatiel, Satira, and Arcturus will be leaving us at the end of Winter to venture out into the world.” He turned a sad smile to Satira with the words. He would never not worry for his children and grandchildren. “I’m also pleased to announce that Azure and Hanako are expecting their first litter of children.” Hmm… hopefully that covered the current flow of changes taking place in the Armada. “Now, without further ado, I’ve tasked Azure with structuring a new training regime” He nodded his head towards his son, for the new Co-alpha to take the floor.

Azure remained a quiet presence at his father’s side as wolves trickled in and seated themselves to await their Warlord’s word. He thought he caught a few confused glances when wolves noticed he stood beside the alpha, though Azure did not linger on any member’s face long enough to know for sure. His soon-to-be-wife, however, did catch his eye and he resisted giving the koi-wolf a smile. The healer took a place beside her and Azure could at least be confident that she would be comfortable through the meeting.
Sirius began speaking as the last few wolves trickled in - his newest servant included - and rather than give the Warlord his attention he looked out at the crowd to gauge their responses as the meeting started. The mention of the changes Boreas had suffered this winter drew Azure’s lips into a grim line. With any luck, their round-table alpha meeting might bring to light some answers and not more questions.
The warlord covered the remainder of the topics they’d discussed prior - including that of his unborn children, at mention of which he offered Hanako the ghost of a smile - and then moved on, opening the floor to allow Azure to speak to the crowd.
“Thank you, Father.” He began, tipping his head down briefly in respect. To the gathered wolves he continued. “I know many of you may be disappointed to see me standing here beside our Warlord. Some of us have a rocky history, some of us have no history at all. Regardless of your personal feelings or my personal feelings, know that I’m here for the Armada as a whole and I will do what I can for each of you.” His gaze flitted over Magnus, Sedna, a few of his younger siblings, and Mortis, all whom he felt might be less-then-overjoyed to see him promoted. “Now then - I’ve heard both complaints and excuses lately as to how the Armada has handled training. I know some of you have wished for mentors, teachers, and that we have failed to provide proper incentive to drive your education. We have lost many capable warriors over the last year and will lose more in the coming seasons, and with whatever is going on in the world it is important now more than ever that the pack is ready to defend itself.” Azure’s muzzle tipped up toward the sky, where the full moon hung and had hung for nearly a week.
“Seeing as we no longer have a General, I will take over for the meantime the assignment of students to their teachers. Some pairings may be less-than-ideal for you, but these wolves are all your family and I expect you to get along regardless.” The brief mention of Naiche’s departure crinkled his muzzle and he sighed, continuing on. “I will be watching those who put their best efforts into this, and suggesting to my father who might be ready to step into a higher rank. Lastly, to any wolves who believe they might be ready for a promotion now, you may request a challenge to myself or Sirius to prove your worth. Be forewarned, we do not expect you to challenge before you feel ready. If you disappoint us enough, we may find that the rank you deserve is lower than the one you are currently in.”
It was all that Azure had prepared to say, and he glanced toward his father for silent approval. “If there are any concerns or questions, please voice them now.” He added.
