The now Ashen's Genin wanted to explore the surrounding of her new lands, just to get to know better Boreas or how she heard others calling the continent. A long river seemed to cross over a big portion of Boreas, and she found herself attracted to explore the closest section of it to Ashen. Her Tosa servant traveled along her with her Katana on the dog's jaws, ready for whenever Ume wished to use it. It was nice to have an extra pait of jaws in this case. But then she heard crunching noises. "Hide." She muttered her companion who was quick to hide, not before giving Yaeume her Katana. And herself climbed into a tree's branch, to hide and wait for any unlucky victim to her ambush. And it surprised her to find a cougar. Injured and attractive for making a nice cloth. Now she needed to wait until it passed under her and she would jump into it. Tsurume also ready to attack. "speech"

As if the state of the world wasn't enough, Hattori had caught the scent of some predators hanging around near Ashen. Not close enough to warrant an outright emergency, but still it was something the Shogun couldn't simply ignore. Setting out into the wilderness, Hattori soon picked up the trail of a cougar and found it down by the river. It was distracted, seemingly on edge as it glanced up at the treeline. It was then Hattori saw a flash of pink amongst the branches, Yaeume. No doubt she was preparing to fight the beast. Hattori would lend her a paw and drive this beast back, or kill it. Whatever had to be done. Stepping out into the open the cat whipped its head around as it noticed the Shogun. Giving the Genin the opening she needed to pounce. "Speech"

Both dog and wolf waited and waited, with patience being one of her best qualities beside being a fighter of nice skills and all. And like that of a predator with its play, she didn't move, waiting for the feline to go into her attacking range. Katana between her jaws, claws ready and ready to also let her Tosa know it was time to attack. But then, by the corner of her eye she saw Hattori, attracting the cougar's attention. And with that window of time, she jumped down and with claws extended jumped over the cat's body, with both frontal paws around her prey, claws digging as like a lion with a zebra she would try riding the predator, biting hard into it's scruff. "speech"

Curious to see how the Genin wanted to go about this, Hattori let her do the bulk of the work and simply provided a distraction. The pink wolf leapt from the trees, a blur of movement  as she latched onto the cat's back with claws digging in.  Given her large size, the cat thudded to the floor and yowled in protest as it wriggled and writhed, doing all in its power to unseat the wolf. But Hattori knew a lost battle when he saw one, the cougar would have a very hard time slipping free, but that didn't mean its claws and teeth no longer posed a danger. He hung back, watching as the koi wolf scuffled and engaged its prey. She was good, he would give her that. Lessons for Iga had no doubt sunk deep. "Speech"
