Cerberus' wound wasn't really that complex or deadly, but it seemed to be taking longer to heal than it normally would especially with Siren and Dalila taking care of it. He wondered if the effect the plants had in his wound was behind the reason. He couldn't be sure but it was definitely the first thought on his mind.
While Dalila was getting the supplies to care for the somewhat old wound, he unwrapped the cloth that was snug around his leg. Inside the wound glowed, but he didn't know if it was his blood, his tendons, the bone, it could have been so many things. Lost in the sight of his bright wound over his dark skin, he waited for Dalila to return.

Dalila had Cerberus lay at the edge of the bed she shared with Siren, going off into the separate room where they kept the majority of their healing supplies stored. She gathered a few basic things to treat his wound again and some fresh bandages to wrap it up again. She thought it was odd that it hadn't begun to heal up by now considering the fact that it wasn't really all that deep of a wound to begin with, but sometimes wounds and cuts just took their own pace and this seemed to be one of those cases. He wasn't showing any signs of fever or that anything deeper was going on so she didn't suspect that it was infected or anything of that sort. Coming back with the supplies, she noticed that Cerberus had already pulled off the bandage, which in of itself wasn't a problem, but he seemed incredibly focused on the wound for some reason.
With a worried furrow to her brow she trotted forward and what she saw caught her off guard. The wound itself was glowing the same way that the plants in the green house had been and how many things around the island and Auster had begun to glow in the last season or so. Her ears flicked back, but she tried to keep calm so Cerberus wouldn't be worried. Setting the stuff down on the bed beside him, she said, "Well, that's awfully odd, isn't it? I guess those herbs held their glow better than I expected." She just hoped that using those herbs didn't cause any permanent, lingering issues. It did explain at least a little bit about why the wound was having such an issue healing up. "I'll just go get some water to wash that out with, okay?" she mentioned as she moved quickly to go get a bowl and water skin.

Dalila had played a good face as she tried to be easy and calm around Cerberus given the unusual circumstances. Cerberus stayed where he was as Dalila had mentioned getting some water to wash out the wound. Cerberus had thought she meant try to wash the glow away which he didn't believe was possible but he didn't speak up. Washing before treating the wound again was routine, he just hadn't noticed that yet.
Dalila returned, and Cerberus did whatever she had instructed him to, even if there was a little sting from the wound. It wasn't overbearing. Looking to Dalila as she worked, he spoke out, "They say it's your fault but I don't blame you." Cerberus' voices could have worked hard to irritate him, but he was pretty hard to get agitated. He didn't tend to speak what the voices told him, but since the fireflies had spoken to him, he was a little more open about what he was hearing.
