Sunder had found what could only be described as a marvel. This strange and alien place, though at first glance inhospitable, was home to a shocking amount of small prey. If he stood still long enough for the timid fauna to forget about him the scene would burst with activity. Alas, as quickly as it came to life it would die down again if he moved. Worse yet, the many twists and turns, the crates, shelves, and walls, made giving chase a frustrating and fruitless affair. The little dog had made countless attempts before deciding, okay fine, it was time for a new plan. So now, practically tripping over uncatchable critters, he roved the halls in search of items to make snares with. Sunder had never made a trap of any kind before, but how hard could it be, right?

Úlfr scanned the steppe, analyzing rabbit trails and searching for clumps of shrubs and stones they would use as hidden spots as they traveled in the search for food. He'd been tracking rabbit scent when he came across Sunder's scent. Now what was that dog doing all the way out here and where was his scent going? Úlfr followed the scent to a strange looking hole that went down into a dusky human cave. He wrinkled his nose, pacing back and forth for a moment before settling on the edge of the hole and sticking his head in. "Hey Sunder! You down there? You ok?" He'd wait to see if his pack mate was in reasonable shape before risking his neck climbing down into that bizarre place.

Sunder's head popped up as someone called out to him. One of his packmates, was it? He tipped his head to the side in thought. Now, what was his name again? Ulfr, was it? Ah, yes, Ulfr, pale boy, nice fella as far as Sunder knew. And that was all Sunder needed to know to light up like a naked little christmas tree. His packmate couldn't see him but he beamed up at the entrance anyway. "Oi, yes, Ulfr, I'm down 'ere and I'm fine! You shoulda see dis. Come look! Dis..." he shook his head, unable to find a good word for what he was seeing. "Dis like..bunny paradise down ere."

Curious as to what his hairless companion was seeing, Úlfr scrambled down the ladder to land with an ungraceful plop on the floor. Blinking he peered into the darkness his vision finally fixing on Sunder whose dark form seemed to blend in perfectly with the shadows. At the mention of rabbits he shifted his focus to the smells and sounds of rodent life down in the strange cellar. "Weird, there must be some other entrances they're using to get in here. Maybe some sort of food source lured them in?" It could also be a halfway decent shelter during winter. He moved farther down the aisle, startling one rabbit that vaulted into a glass jar and pinged off into the dark. He watched as the jar spun and crashed on the floor. "Hmm…. want to try and hunt some? We could maybe find something in here to make a snare." Granted he'd never tried to snare something in this environment. Rabbit runs down here wouldn't look like what he was used to working with.
