It was a must that he tended to his wounds. Long ignored, Gil was bruised and battered in ways he hadn't been before. With the sickness finally leaving his body and the multiple fights he'd gotten into during that period, he realized he was more broken than he believed. Walking slowly with careful steps, the mottled man made his way toward the hot springs where their steaming pools invited him.

The sun barely shifted along the horizon as dawn greeted his hazy yellow gaze. Normal fluffy white clouds rolled over the sky as Gil slunk down into one of the hot springs. Leaning against the walls, a quiet groan left his lips as he rested his chin on the edge. Water washed over him in calm ripples as his muscles began to relax. Looking up to the sky, he wondered if being a ghost would really be worth it. Or if there was something better for him in this lifetime.
