Though the world, for most wolves, was beginning to return to the way it had been before, Mac had never seen it. He was born during the endless night, and had grown accustomed to it as a result. He believed the world had always been dark and covered in glosing mushrooms and crystals, and to be told it hadn’t always been like that was difficult to comprehend. Truthfully, the young child couldn’t wrap his mind around anything but a moonlit, nebulous expanse with ooze-dripping wolves abound. But that wasn’t the right world, the good world, as he was soon to find out.
The speckled child had drifted off, nestled snugly with his littermates. He was deep in slumber until a sharp light pierced the den, making him squint instinctively. With a soft groan, the boy stirred, his grey orbs watering as they peeled open. It was so bright - what was going on? When it wasn’t a faint bioluminescent glow like he had been used to, the child’s heart thrummed in his chest as he barely made out his mother’s figure watching the bright light cast itself in the now red and orange sky. It was merely the sunrise, but to the boy, it looked like the end of the world. Still, his mother didn’t seem panicked at all. What was it, then?
Still squinting, the boy gently toddled to Recluse’s side, forcing himself to blink in order to take in the scene. He looked up at his mother and could swear one of the crystals on her body was beginning to loosen ever so slightly. Was he dreaming? Was she losing her powers? He believed those who were oozing or had growths had some powers, so them beginning to slough off was concerning. A concerned knit of his brow and a frown appeared on his face as he saw the strange scene unfold, and for once in his little lifetime, he was anxious.
"Mom? What’s going on?" He asked, pressing against her for some semblance of comfort. This was odd. It was supposed to be dark and glowy, right? "Why’s it so bright?"

For the man the sun was a welcome sign. At the time hed been patrolling the mountain in whatever time it was. Eraithus hadnt taken long to notice that the eerie darkness was... different. Standing on a ledge he witnessed the moon slowly dip behind the horizon his blue eyes widenening in awe and worry. His heart began to race as he watched the first rays of the sun in months. Feeling like the world shifted his paws found himself carrying to the mouth of his leaders den. In time to hear Macarbe speak.
"The sun has come to bring life to the land." Eraithus told him. "Before you were born it was what made plants grow, warmed the earth underneath your paws.... this is a good omen." at least he hoped it was. He knew Recluse hadnt done well in the day but this morning.... it was different. She also looked different. Eraithus smiled to her. "How do you feel?" he asked. Curious to hear her answer. Eraithus turned back to the sunrise even finding his own eyes having trouble adjusting for those moments.

Eraithus has a permanant bend in his tail, giving it a crooked appearance. Some of his art does not depict this.
he has a female snowy owl by the name kespie, it is assumed shes around regardless of mention.
