OOC Set about a week after their last hunt, so around the 19th. Same as last time, there is no posting order and this round ends on the 19th. If you don't post you WILL be skipped.

It had been roughly a week since his band had last taken down the Rhino. The same group now headed off to the same area, except his sister, Ike, had decided to hang back from this trip. Instead, they’d made a brief pit stop at the Hallows to offer to take some of their members and ended up with a shadowy wolf named Rudyard. Like the previous week, Takeshi and Grimshaw pulled large sleds intended to bring back meat on and Rudyard had been advised to bring his own so that they could split their catch into threes.

This week’s target would be a giraffe. They could run quickly and were tall and powerful, but their legs could be surprisingly weak. It would also be good practice to try a different type of animal. The group arrived at the Dragon’s Blood Grove, the boy’s nose once again twitching to try and locate a herd of the large animals. He shrugged off his sled harness, waited for the others to follow suit, then trailed after the scent markers. In the distance, he could see a small herd of the spotted creatures. It would prove more of a challenge, seeing as they were located on largely flat terrain. He paused, narrowing his eyes as he monitored each individual movement, trying to sus out which would be the candidate. Eventually, he found it.

”There’s a giraffe slightly separated from the rest of the herd that seems to be limping. That’s our target. We’ll be going in the same formation as last week but Rudyard will take Ike’s place; Kotori, Rudyard and Yaeume on herding and Magnus, Grimshaw and myself on take down, though everyone will need to help then,” he ordered, pausing to make sure everyone got the point before moving to find a place to hide out of sight until the herding trio managed to successfully separate their foe.

Ume didn't mind taking in a second round of hunting, do hinging behemoths. But well here she was, and ready or not she would do what she was told. And again her job would be herding with someone named Rudyard, and saying nothing she nodded to the prince. She got herself into position, ready to run the giants and again she expected her partner to do well and do it quick enough. She held the sword between her jaws. Tsurume was by her side also ready to help to their cause.

During their short visit to the Hallows to pick up any of their wolves interested in going on a hunt, Grimshaw was a bit interested to see that Rudy was joining along. He hadn't seen the boy in months and was quite surprised to see that he stuck around. He figured that in the shadow of Artorias, the boy would have found his own way. It didn't matter though, but what did was the mental note he made to himself to return. Artorias was the Aegis now and Grimshaw wanted to congratulate him on the accomplishment, but now wasn't the time to do so. Grimshaw didn't have much to show for himself now anyway and the infection had left him looking likely slightly worse than his adopted brother would remember. He would return though, but also when it wasn't at the cost of time to the others.

When they were off, Grimshaw continued to pull Magnus in the cart until they made it to their destination and the young ashen boy pointed out a giraffe. They were certainly targeting some exotic meals, but he wouldn't argue. He'd never eaten something so strange before and wondered how many of the Armada wolves had. Would this be a treat to them like the rhino? When Takeshi gave the same orders as last time, only changing it to fit Rudy into Ike's place, Grimshaw nodded. Taking one of these down posed it's own set of challenges, but Grimshaw was ready for it.

The last hunt hadn't been exactly easy on Magnus, but when the young man offered to pull him on the cart again he was a bit more willing to go for a second round. This time, although they were traveling down to Auster again, they were hunting something else Magnus could confidently say he'd never seen before. Even though they were farther away, they looked absolutely massive with their long necks and he wondered how they would really go about bringing something like this down. Takeshi seemed to like the plan that had been developed for the last hunt, this time only switching out the girl that was missing this round with the boy they picked up from the hallows. Magnus noticed the way Grimshaw would  glance at the boy they picked up, but like his last trip remained quiet and to himself on the journey. He was an aging man after all. Magnus nodded in agreement to the plan, waiting for the three to run off as he stretched with the two young men.
